Just picked my Accord Touring 2.0T last week! I couldn't be happier. The Car handles the road extremely well. Steering is awesome. The new 10 speed transmission is buttery smooth, coupled with a great paddle shifters. Lastly, the cockpit is loaded with tech. This car will put a smile on your face each time you are behind the wheel. This is coming from a guy who used to own a BMW 4 Series. My old Beemer was surely more flashy & powerful with twin turbo V6.....However, this beatiful sporty Accord will make you smile each time I'm driving it! Ohh, and it cost me a lot less than BMW! Thank you Honda for building a fantastic family sports car, loaded with safety features and top notch tech goodies, that other luxury manufacturers charge $1000's for. I'm a happy Honda customer!
Ily Sayarh Honda is killing the competition right now. Struggling a bit in Formula 1 but that’s super hard to get right. They made a bold statement for FWD cars in the Nurburgring with the Civic Type-R new lap record. Beating Porsche and with a 6 speed manual is just unbelievable. My hats off to Honda!!! Ford and the rest need to do better if they want to keep up with Honda.
This car is beautiful. The design grew on me so fast. Hated it at first but friggin love it now. I'm stuck in an Acura lease right now but definitely going to get one of these this winter.

@@lilmoris1 bro not gonna lie to you, the honda accord does look beautiful, my buddy got a red one and he even admitted if the camry was a bit cheaper he will take that all day. I’m watching this as I already put my down payment on 2018 Accord Touring 2.0L with black front grill and lip spoiler in dark blue, it’s coming between Christmas and New Years and I’m so excited as this Accord is heavy on technology as well as awesome looks. Thank you for this video!
I love this car, I have the same one in the video just a 2019 and I gotta say it is fast, will definitely surprise you when you first get behind the wheel. It shifts so smoothly that it feels your getting continuous power and acceleration. It feels nimble and light on its feet, yet the handling is so precise that you feel confident taking on those twists and turns. The only thing is that because of the 19" rims the ride can be a bit rough on broken roads/pavement in the city but its not jarring at all.
Same here. Our 2 liter Touring is approaching 2 years old now and it still puts a smile on my face. Looks great, drives great, and all the tech you could ever ask for. It’s got more power, performance, and luxury features than a 4 cylinder mainstream sedan has any right to. Sure glad I didn’t plunk down $20k more for a German car.
As owner of both the Toyota Camry and the Accord Sport 1.5t, the Camry has a better seating position and less road noise at highway speeds. The Honda is better planted, handles curvy roads with less effort, and I prefer the Accord gadget control setup.
Test drove a Camry XSE V6 and a Honda Accord 2.0t Sport. Bought the Accord, even though Toyota had better financing deals going on, the Accord just looks better and frankly the V6 of the Camry wasn't that impressive. Didn't like the look of the front of the Camry. Plus the Camry didn 't have Apple Carplay or Android Auto. Accord 2.0t Sport was $4.5k cheaper.

Great review on a great car. I recently bought a 2018 Accord Hybrid Touring (in Modern Steel), and LOVE it. The engine is smooth, it is plenty powerful when needed (I unintentionally spun the tires pulling out into traffic), the eCVT is smooth and always ready, and this car is quiet. However, I will say that the 47/47/47 mpg rating is not accurate. I got 55.7 mpg city mpg today and average in the HIGH 40s and low 50s when combined. It has so much technology. Everyday I'm learning new things it can do. This is a FANTASTIC car. Great looks (MANY compliments on the color and the car's looks from friends and strangers), superb quality and a quiet and luxurious ride. And it's a FUN car to drive. I may have to add stabilizer to the gas tank since I go so long before filling up.
Very good review and I actually just purchased a 2019 Accord 2.0 Sport so I agree with everything you said about this amazing high quality Honda sedan🤙🏽
I have the 2019 sport 2.0 L, and my owners manual tells me that all external lights are led in the sport and touring trim models. Sounds like you have the ex or lower trim.

Glad Honda has caught up to the competition. Currently own a 2012 Kia Optima SXL (very happy with it) and will put this on my list to check out for my next vehicle purchase!
I just traded in a 2015 Kia Optima 2.0 turbo for a 2018 Honda Accord Sport 2.0 Turbo. The Kia was okay it had all the bells and whistles Panamera roof, treated heated cooled seats, BUT.. The Honda Accord Sport is it better car hands down. The engine is from the Honda Civic Type R VTech with a turbo. All I have to say, THAT is a hell of a combination. By the way soon we going to be able to install some really neat mods on these cars..NICE.!!
Lizner09 agree as well as no HUD display no cold air vented seats, no wireless charger, rear view mirror is same as on LX model (cheap) and less controls on steering wheel and no source it’s back button and maybe I missed few but from major that’s about it.
You still get the sunroof on the sport 2.0, but with the touring don't forget the 10 speakers with a subwoofer, some LED upgrades, all leather interior, heated seats front and rear, and heated steering wheel. The interior of the sport 2.0t is really really nice though, one I rather have. Its a $6k upgrade from the sport bringing the msrp close to 36k. If those features are important to you, I say go for it!!!
I just got mine in this exact configuration 2 days ago. It is awesome and way better than I deserve. My only real complaint is that I am a little bit of a hard time finding the optimum drivers seat angle. I feel like it could use a couple of more inches on the driver's side. I am sure I will find an adjustment that works. I have a 36 inch inseam and I am used to being in a Suv. Beyond that, I just think this car is ridiculously nice... And fast!
Just picked up mine yesterday and love it! At first I wasnt quite sure if I should get automatic or manual. I have had all 3 of my previous cars with manual transmission but since I work as a driver and i'm stuck in traffic all day. I felt it was best for me to get automatic to help me have a better commute. Also I found the color I loved in the 2.0t sport trim, still night pearl❤
Certainly loving my Accord EX-L 2.0T that I got yesterday. I was surprised that I got this for $2,000 less at Hendrick Honda than the 2.0T Sport that I would’ve been paying at Coral Springs Honda.
Love your reviews man, keep 'em coming. I was never interested in an Accord until I saw this car this past weekend at the Miami Auto Show; totally blown away! Really happy to see a manual still exists in the world. Will definitely have to consider this when my current lease is up
nice review by the way. Loved the door close check, i always do that. One thing i sugges for car reviewers to do is a road noise test, with a db meter, to let reviewers know how the vehicle compares in the class for interior refinement/ isolation- a big decicion maker for some.
If you do the Honda hack on the on 1.5 turbo and get a key fob with the remote start and have Honda program it you can have remote start on the 1.5 turbo as well
Great review! New to your channel and I'm now a subscriber! Great stuff. One thing that this is not the top of the line in the accord lineup. The Touring would be their top of the line offering. This does however have the top of the line motor which is a fantastic engine. I have a 2016 Accord Coupe EX-L V6 and I ABSOLUTELY love it! Just hit 50k miles this weekend. Anyway keep up the amazing work and I'll keep tuning in!
Honda makes the world's best engines and they borrowed automatic transmissions from JATCO which made horrible CVT, now Honda is making their own autmatic transmissions which are reportedly better. By the way Toyota owns Aisin which makes the world's best Automatic transmissions.
@@Saturdayz_In_The_Fall so did you get yours? I just picked up a 20 Touring and love everything about it. I got it in Lunar Silver too and it's amazing.
Gr8 review👍. The only negative thing is NO HOMELINK. That's a major 4 me, will definitely have to think about trading in my 2016 EX-L V6 WITH HOMELINK for this one!🤔
good review but .. you didn't know u can always turn on Tachometer under settings - vehicle settings to be on all time and look at all the other things too... miles.. MPG... EXT
Get yourself an Accord Touring man. You get entry level luxury at a more affordable price. Yeah the back doesn't look as nice as the TLX but you could always change it with aftermarket lights or overlays like what I did on my 20 Accord Touring that I just picked up. It looks way better then stock now. I'm light smoking the whole taillights soon after making them all red recently with an small opening for the reverse light. I also added LEDs reverse and turn signals as well.
He never really stomps on it. I drove one of these last night and it really does move. Only issue is it can't gain any traction at a dead stop or even rolling. Maybe different tires would help. It was super fun to drive. $150ish per month from the 1.5 Sport. I would like to find some real life MPG on the 2.0T. I'd fear buying it and being in sport mode getting 5mpg because I like fun mode haha.
Great video and an added thumbs up for Texas!! This is the ride I'd pick coming from a 2016 GLI lease due to the lowered costs across payment and insurance. I'm trying to save as much as I can to move out towards Pflugerville/Round Rock/Buda areas! Red Californian coming your way! FOR Y'ALL PISSED OFF TEXANS, I DON'T BLAME YOU! I WON'T CALIFORNIA YOUR TEXAS! I'LL SHOW YOU MY SPRINGFIELD 1911 INSTEAD! :)
What happens if while you're driving 60mph for instance, and you somehow accidentally push the Reverse button? Would there be severe damage to the transmission or is there a fail-safe design? I have a dog who sometimes gets antsy while the car is moving, so I am a little paranoid about the button layout.
Seems like almost everyone is going to the turbocharged four-cylinder engines these days. Personally, I prefer more displacement and an engine that doesn't have to strain itself to get the HP & torque. One of the main reasons I bought an Accord EX-L V-6 MT coupe last year (please bring back the V-6 and the coupe, Honda!)...
Is it worth the ~5k price difference between the 1.5 and 2.0 Sport based mainly on engine performance? I am aware 2.0 is based on EX while 1.5 is based on LX feature sets.
No mention of the noisy interior. But, I agree it handles well but has quite a bit of engine noise. Braking is average for above 30K cost. No high beam LED's. 252 horse power not 278. Nice power but it is not smooth in my opinion. Looks very nice dressed in 19's. Pretty nice interior and high tech safety features. Holds its value better than most. I like it in white.

You mentioned Honda is now making both the transmission and engine.
Who was previously manufacturing both, or either?
Jason99942 JATCO makes the CVT, Honda makes most of their transmissions.
Honda makes the world's best engines and they borrowed automatic transmissions from JATCO which made horrible CVT, now Honda is making their own autmatic transmissions which are reportedly better. By the way Toyota owns Aisin which makes the world's best Automatic transmissions.
The first car I bought was a Honda Accord. My Altima is okay, but I really want this new Accord. I’m also debating the Optima too
The 2021 Optima is coming :0
Very good presentation. In my country just start sale this week. but, No 2.0T sold here.
Just bought a 19!
Enrique Godinez the hardest choice for me is the color! Lol I cant wait to get mines next March lol
@@Saturdayz_In_The_Fall so did you get yours? I just picked up a 20 Touring and love everything about it. I got it in Lunar Silver too and it's amazing.
Awesome review bro! Now just gotta budget for it
This car with 300-350hp AWD and 10speedauto dreamcar
MICKY MOUSE Audi RS3?
These turbos have a problem with gas mixing into the oil. Eventually it ruins the engine
Really!!!??? Is it a pcv issue??
All you guy's that never drove the New accord 2.0turbo auto! The turbo only works when you turn On the Sport Mode...
Big Time No. That's not true. In a turbo charged car, not using the exhaust gasses from the turbo is way less efficient at generating power
Gr8 review👍. The only negative thing is NO HOMELINK. That's a major 4 me, will definitely have to think about trading in my 2016 EX-L V6 WITH HOMELINK for this one!🤔
That’s on the Touring
good review but .. you didn't know u can always turn on Tachometer under settings - vehicle settings to be on all time and look at all the other things too... miles.. MPG... EXT
No gear lever... Finally! Great road review as well!
I love everything about this car except the rear styling. It’s slowly growing on me though. I’m debating on getting the Sport 2.0 or the 2021 TLX.
21 Sport 2.0 > 21 TLX any day
It's cheaper and performs better
Nice large trunk, but they don't cover the hinges, which effectively makes it smaller (shorter) than most of the competition.
I love it oo I have the sport with the 1.5 and cvt in still night pearl and it is stunning
I just bought the 2019 sport 2.0turbo and in town city driving in California. I am getting 14 miles to the gallon in eco mode
I want the Touring, but I want the Still Night Blue and the Sport wheels :/
Correction! Only on the Touring Models are the High Beams LED. All others are Halogen lighting.
Awesome review. Very detailed. Love it.
This review is very good!
Hondas version of the mighty RS7! Fuckin awesome tho! Those wheels are hella RS7!
oh yeah good point !!
Véhicule surprenant tres satisfait sur toute la ligne performance tenu de route j'ai attendu 3 mois pour le 2.0 Lt et ça vaut la peine.
gorgeous car. its sad the accord has better performance now than the TLX, am i right?
this is going to be one of my next cars
high-beams aren't LED and the Sport is definitely not the highest trim.
My pick is the 2018 Camry XSE. The Honda is nice but I can't drive a CVT transmission.
Ricky Rick 2.0 accord is standard transmission
Camry is 8 speed auto both I4 and V6. Accord offers you CVT, 10 speed auto OR slick shifting 6 speed manual.
2.0t comes with automatic
Honda needs to make the back truck electronic.. You press a button for the back trunk door to be closed.
Nice car but they missed the mark with no USB charges in the back.
It's an added option
it’s standard now on the ‘21
From 16:00 to 19:00, the video is overexposed. You can let the camera focus on you. The car is nice for sure.
What happens if while you're driving 60mph for instance, and you somehow accidentally push the Reverse button? Would there be severe damage to the transmission or is there a fail-safe design? I have a dog who sometimes gets antsy while the car is moving, so I am a little paranoid about the button layout.
The high beam is not LED. Check out the touring trim they are different
Dharmen Samant 1.5 has cvt and 2.0 has the standard transmission. Stay away from cvt and im getting the 2.0.
Why is there a transmission tunnel for a FWD?
Xeno Probably for the exhaust. If not, I don't know.
2019 model refresh. software update will add awd option. jk.
Exhaust.
Nissan Altima VC-Turbo AWD 6-speed would be nice, Honda Sport 2.0 6-speed is best choice.
Nissan is trash
If you remote start and open the door, does the engine shutoff?
My favorite color for this car then the blue one
Nice car! I've only seen about 4 on the road.
Traded in my 15 for an 18 last week loving the accord ex
alonzo0910 yo.. hows it holding up? Any issues?
What camera are you using while you are driving the car? I like it!
Nice review bro...
So many ppl copying Alex... " nice solid door feel" lol. And we know how push button starts work too. You need your own gimmick, StraightPipes style.
Beautiful car, did you get any detailing done such as ppf or ceramic coating?
No mention of the noisy interior. But, I agree it handles well but has quite a bit of engine noise. Braking is average for above 30K cost. No high beam LED's. 252 horse power not 278. Nice power but it is not smooth in my opinion.
Looks very nice dressed in 19's. Pretty nice interior and high tech safety features. Holds its value better than most. I like it in white.
What are some competitors at this price range
@@t.7527 the usual suspects: camry, mazda 6 and altima
How good are these smaller turbo engines compared to a naturally aspirated v6 ? I know fuel economy is better ,but what's the longevity of the 2 ?
The k20 is one of the most legendary engines Honda has ever made
If it didn't have that weird we are tail White I think this would be an excellent sedan competing with those of luxury segment
