  • @TriggzCrooke
    @TriggzCrooke 8 місяців тому +4

    Ok so the Honda makes full torque at 273 pound ft at 1500 RPM and carries that all throughout the powerband meanwhile the camry makes it's full torque at 4700 RPM that puts the camry at a disadvantage already you have to rev the engine all the way up in the power band. I think this roll race should be done over with the camry manual shift revved to 4700 in the optimal gear for the MPH and RPM instead of "Auto Shift". 2 different vehicles with 2 different ways they make HP and Torque. Guaranteed it would have been a different outcome. It wouldn't have won from a dig but from a roll, it should have been the camry winning. Put it to the test Sam! Has nothing to do with the transmission. It has a lot to do with how the car makes power and torque.

    Bullshit
    That Honda Accord 2.0t was tuned. However…
    The Camry TRD isn’t a true performance car; it features TRD body kits and a stiffer suspension, but lacks a limited-slip differential (LSD). This is why it struggles at the starting line. The 2GR engine is designed for fuel efficiency rather than performance. However, if you tune that 2GR with D2 performance parts and add an LSD, you'll unleash a powerful performance Camry.
    Or add a Lotus supercharger to it.

    Excellent race. Thank you for adding the Camry TRD to this race. Does anyone know the elevation there?

    I have a 2.0 Sport 10a and it’s surprisingly quick but hard to launch without tire spin, and I got bigger stickier tires than stock. A tune is in the near future and should help the roll race portion tremendously. It would be cool to put the Camry, Accord, Maxima, Kia, Hyundai, and any other front wheel drive grocery getter up to each other tournament style to rank them.

      I also have a 2.ot. the stock tires are crap. I replaced mine with General G-max Rs tires. I went with 245/40/19 size. And I have stage 2 ktuner. Car gets excellent grip from launch little to none tire spin and no spin at all if I'm going 30mph and punch it. I used to lite up the stock tires even at 40mph. I highly recommend getting General tires. I had them on my 16 scat pack 392 6mt and grip was also amazing on that car.

      keep it stock,it will last forever.A tune isnt worth it unless you plan to sell the car in a near future.

      @@djoj1986 I went with the same size tire but tried the Firestone Firehawk. Better than stock but still not sticky enough. Will keep the recommendation in mind in the future.

    1:13 Special Edition? No a sport 2.0.. Don't get me wrong ,I own a 2021 ,2.0 sport..Love the car ,but you should have tested a stock one ,and not this plastic covered ,heavier wheel,crappy exhaust model.. And whomever left the bouncing off the rev limiter clip in needs to be fired. Hurrah for the Accord ,just not this one

    Throw some respect on that 2.0. A 32k sleeper with great potential with upgrades

      No doubt. I got my ‘20:2.0 Sport out the door with tax, title, ect @29.5. Going to be hard to find a replacement when the time comes.

      @p.smallz6168 yes very hard. Bought my 21 sport 2.0 brand new 32k. If you dont have the manual i'd swap out the plastic resin upper torque nount to the oem 6mt Mt metal one. Will have less flex and keep power down. I mean right now the elantra n is a budget sleeper too but I won't go to that.

      @AG-yv8yb agreed, the N is a nice pkg. If I go for anything quicker it's going to be a V8.
