This boat definitely took on too much water! What did Captain do wrong here?
Hi
Bought a boat with a big open area in the front for water to go.
captain did not learn what a bilge pump was
He made the babies cry❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What did he do wrong...? For starters, he never read the capacity rating of that vessel when he purchased it. Either that or he completely ignored it and doesn't care. You can't expect to put 10 people all in the front of a bow rider. And not expect it to list from side to side just like this boat did. And then take on water in large swells. Just isn't happening. It's sort of like a pontoon you need to know how to balance the weight properly. That boat should have no more than 6 people max in it. And it's WELL over that. Probably didn't have it trimmed right either.
Thanks for being the voice of reason for capturing and shaming those disrespectful minors and getting some justice for the environment....
YES ! Now the pampered little rich punks will face consequences. It’s all over the local TV stations there. The parents have a home care business, and I’m sure the publicity with hurt their reputation. Thanks, Wavy Boats for helping Karma do its good work!
@@tomrogers9467what kind of business is it? Because the boat is listed under the business name, I'm wondering if they're scamming some kind of tax write-off on the boat.
@@jenniferk9242 "Extended care" or something like that.
@@jenniferk9242 some kind of nursing care service for seniors. Definitely need an expensive yacht for that operation. Hope someone reports them to IRS!
@@jenniferk9242 Doesn't matter what your field of work is, write-offs for corporations is very lenient. Had a girlfriend whos dad owned a very large siding and window company. He had box seats at Arrowhead the company paid for and was written off as client entertainment-show a prospective client a good time, they may do business. Had nothing to do with siding nor windows.
The several years I was with her he not once had a client in those seats. And even though he was a Chiefs fanatic he prefered to watch at home on the big screen (1990s) and smoke weed, Guess who had free use of Arrowhead box seats for several years?
Don't like it, vote the dems out that are big corporate owners, stock holders, like pelosi that says members should be able to own stocks, refused to allow a vote be done on 3 separate GOP bills limiting members owning stocks while she was queen of the House.
FINALLY… a smart family who is using life preservers on their kids! It’s about time.
"Listen. And understand. That inlet is out there. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear. And it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are SUNK." - Captain Reese 🤣
nice terminator ref
I read that in Resse's voice. 🤘
I don't understand why people attempt to go out in those conditions in small or open cockpit boats
I love this channel
First boat: Let’s everyone sit on the pointy end. Guess the good news is they did remember to put the plug in.
Wavy Boats, Thank You for having Morals and turning those people in!
Put 10 people in the bow in rough water smart move skipper!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the professional Captain who illustrates the ignorance of his
"clients."
Advice for the clients at the end....
Don't wave and smile at the drone that captured your entire family screaming like babies. Haha
These guests should rent a boat in -- their back yard. If they have one. LOL
The high level of jackassery from these noob captains never disappoints…..
"jackassery" You mind if I use that? or it could be like a shop where you can have custom jackasses built.
A lot of jackasses out their
No one who fishes or runs boats calls other noobs, that’s how I know you are a gillian
@@jerryv7411 I don't know about boats or fishing, but I do know your breath stinks 😁
too many peeps up front changing the COG. They should be at the center or rear with motors trimmed up and more speed solves the problem. Easy once you go through there a few times and understand how a boat and waves work.
Yep!
When the cooler starts floating, you have a problem.
Facts! 😂😂
Dam straight, save the beer!
Vessel is not really sea worthy, however this is captain’s fault
You dont think that vessel is sea worthy?@@leodanlopez2170
The dumb family didn’t even don their life vests when the boat was in trouble. They did however make sure to wave to the camera. They came close.
Isn’t that crazy fricken filming or waving?
At least the kids had vests on.
Happy Sink-O de Mayo!
That boat is more than capable of handling those conditions. The person at the helm is not!
The boat wasn't designed for those conditions, and nether was the skipper.
@@Puzzoozoo I guess I'm not really familiar with those boats. What did the manufacturer have in mind when they designed that boat?
In that first one, speed is your FRIEND. If the boat tries to list due to water, go to full power! The speed will cause the chines and shape of the boat to try to right it, and the water will center, allowing the bilge pump to remove it. Slowly...
-A better idea would have been to cruise the Intracoastal that day instead, but....
Most people never use their head!
Solo captain leaves the helm at the Inlet mouth in heavy seas to secure the anchor locker hatch- and was NOT connected to the Safety Kill Switch to do it- BAD IDEA!
Lmfaooo it’s literally fine I do this all the time when I run boats, you obviously never ran boats alone before 😂😂
Captain took a really messy job and turned it around really well. To slow through the inlet led to too much water onboard. Smart of him to turn around and go with the tide while shifting balance of weight to centre/rear of the boat to keep the nose up while riding the wave back on so the boat to empty.
For all the "capacity" commentors above and below, here is a statement off of the Scout website:
"As a potential or existing owner/operator of a 26 foot or Scout boat, it is important to remember that ‘Yacht Certification’ does not include any required vessel capacity limits, and it is up to the boat owner to operate mindfully."
The boat looked like their 305...so no capacity limit. Captain's call. That being said he was a very dangerous captain. Too many up front in a high seas/short duration inlet...did not use trim until he turned around....and that was him trying to get rid of the water. The boat leaning hard was more from the huge volume of water on the deck rocking from side to side...some was from passengers.
He did have the kids in life jackets which rare in the inlet.
The situation was easily preventable with the size of boat he had. I would not allow my family on his boat.
that boat looked ready to flip over.
Really, ya think so ?
@@chopperchopper1418yes it did look like that boat was gonna flip over. Why are you acting stupid?
If I were a captain of a ship I wouldn't let anyone sit by the bow until we left the inlet. Especially small children.
*Definition of insanity* Going out in conditions like these, alone, and no PFD.
The kid flipping double birds at the drone was cute. @2:50
he looked like he was taking his fam back to Cuba for little vacation.....lol
Love the drone shots.
The Axopar looks like a lousy offshore design, but there’s too much deadrise for inland waters.
Yeah that looks like a calm water boat. Hull looks like it wants to cut into a wave, not ride on top and push water away.
Trim the bow up and add some power
Thank you for your Boca Bash Video.
Ontario Canada here - lovin' the drone shots!
I bought my first boat when I was 26 and living and working as a flight instructor in Vero Beach, Flori-Duh. One thing the 18 foot Ski-Breeze sailboat taught me was that a fool and his boat are soon parted; As an aviator I was used to Preparation B4 Aviation, so I was pretty careful around this thing. Never had a problem as a result.
I wish I had that boat again!
@@garyb6219 I'm not an idiot and you are sitting in a cubicle in Russia. Is it snowing Ukrainian drones yet Sergei?

I bet you understand that one....
Those freeman cats are amazing at riding through swell. They stay really level and just scythe through the waves. There's videos of South Africa's version of those boats and they launch and recover them off the beach through the waves as they are so stable.
They really have a perfect hull design for these sorts of conditions. Real sight to see.
That first guy ... it's hard to imagine that anyone local could be so clueless. 🙄
Bow going down.Hurry everyone to the front of the boat as we exit the inlet. Riiiiight.
Damn it's fun to watch Mamites and boats.
Well done, drone shots excellent.
Weather was nice!
Drone shots are great!
Axopar is Russian for The Ugliest Boat Ever Built.
Axopar boats are Finnish, not Russian.
The drone adds a different perspective to your videos
Yes, and Law Enforcement is enjoying the irrefutable evidence of those punks dumping their trash off the beach, too!
I just love wavy boats ❤
Thank you!
You can always see the engine trim is set down on the nose diver boats.
What do you in the USA call the front part of the boat at 0:30 in the video? Here in Bavaria it is the "Tiefenruder" (depth rudder / diving plane from a submarine).
We call it the “pointy end”🛟🌊🛥️🚤.😅
FL really needs to tighten up their life jacket laws. This is the current law: "A child under the age of six must wear a USCG-approved Type I, II or III personal flotation device while onboard a vessel under 26 feet in length while the vessel is underway". I think anyone under, at the very least, 10 years of age should be required to wear a life jacket. I bet 3/4 of the boaters don't have the correct number nor the right size PFD's on board. FWC could make a killing enforcing even the current PFD laws!
I guess these boat operators don't watch these videos because nobody should be sitting in the bow in these kinds of conditions.
Nice looking day, but I'll find something else to do if the water is that rough. Appearently none of these boat operators watch the local weather either. I love being out on the water, but not enough to risk my life and possibly someone elses.
You're assuming the point of any Florida law is to help or save people or property.
@@Dan-vo7vcmurder is illegal everywhere in the world but people still do it.
If a parent is stupid enough to put their child in the bow on a rough I let a law saying they need a life vest isn't going to magically make them a better parent, or even obey it.
@volvo09 a better comparison would be seatbelt laws, which made a HUGE impact on fatalities and injuries, and states with direct enforcement saw major increases in seatbelt use, compounding the benefit. But my point is that Florida lawmakers rarely seem to care about the end result of their legislation and focus instead on political expedience. However, I don't pretend to know what boating laws should be enacted.
That Freeman is the King.
Drone shots are great addition thanks .
The Axopar guy just went home and listed his boat on Boat Trader
YAY! WE'RE HAVING SO MUCH FUN RIDING IN THE BOW OF THE BOAT IN ROUGH WATER WITH NO LIFE JACKETS! OH NOS WATER IN THE BOAT WE GONNA DIE!
The boat almost capsized
Waw enjoy but water is rough. Be safe.❤❤❤
So the real question on that first boat is why did the children not get Pfds on when the boat was taking on water
Probably didn't have Adobe Acrobat installed.
Such a beautiful and extremely capable Scout. What an embarrassment for these people...
Inexperienced captain.
I remember when Three-Wheelers were banned because they were inherently unstable and dangerous to ride. I can see bow riders, or at least riding in the bow while underway, having the same fate.
Got a boat full of people and nobody's bailing water?
Axopars are certainly made to go out to sea. Good boats, learn how to drive them.
This is insanity. Why is everybody not wearing a real life vest?
Boater from Florida here, simply it's not required by law. The only law states you must have life jackets for every person on board at that time.
@@tecex983 I get that. But there is such a thing as common sense. Going through water like this is (obviously) not risk free. Everybody should wear life vests on the small boats to mitigate safety risks.
Children especially!
Mr AXOPAR needs to learn how to use that cool vessel......
Worst boat design ever
@@DTOM1776emg Ugly boat ... 🙄
@@DTOM1776emg Its actually amazing boat.
I NEVER saw his bilge pumps kick in...did anyone see them pumping?
2:50 There's water coming out of a hole on the right side just forward of the transom.
What drone do you guys use? Looked like a DJI Air 2s but not 100% sure..........
Don’t really know too much about boating, but how much would it be to install a bilge pump on a boat that size and would it be enough to stop the boat from sinking?
I read the comments in broncos gurus voice 😂
6:10 gotta save that upholstery.
After the bow going underwater, you’d think modulating the throttle to avoid that would come to mind. Did people like that rent those boats and not get any instruction on how to operate them?
Are there drainage holes anywhere on the boat in case this happens?
❤❤❤🎉 awesome no fear
Shout-out to the dude with the parot! 🦜👍✌️
O.K. First of all this should never, ever happen. Unless I'm seeing wrong the tide is going out and it's windy as hell. To me that's too many children up front but at least they're in life jackets. Haulover is unpredictable for those that don't know and I'm not sure this Captain is too familiar w/Haulover's ever changing moods and cross wave tendencies. He basically swamped her badly and then changes his mind and heads back in which is smart considering the mess he's already made and prob scared those kids pretty good, and maybe the adults too. People stand on the beach over there or even the sidewalk and think something like, "Oh gee, it's not so bad, those waves look small." I tell boaters this all the time..check your weather and marine forecasts. It doesn't matter that the sky is blue and the sun is shining and it's 80+ degrees outside, shit gets really treacherous at Haulover (and many other places in the area) and if you're not careful, this is what happens and sometimes worse. People have smacked the rocks there and sunk there too w/o hitting anything. Now, watch our Captain in that Axopar..he heads out, decides against it and executes a very nice turn around and gets back inside beautifully. You asked about the Axopar hulls..not a fan personally but I know little about them. Leaving the helm is a no go, you just don't do that and I never do it regardless of conditions, especially in the dangerous slop of Haulover. I've always been in deep-v hulls so that's what I know and like.
Captain Man-Bun!
Always a weird kind of Florida man messing up
And the bilge pump is partially blocked
Trim tabs are on a boat for a reason. When people have no boating license and go out to the inlet.
You want to do the oposite
Do yall have a video of a kid running through Boca this morning 5/4? 37 intrepid blue
OH!!!! Angry Cops gave you a POB. Congratulations!!!!
It's always the water scoopers. Don't think it's meant for the sea

Don't people know that when it is rough you don't put weight in the front of a boat. Sit in the back
Always
Someone didn't get their Captains License
XEN crypto 💎
Mount a diving board on the first boat!
I think with that hull design he should just give it some and get it on top of the water in stead of just in it .
Que loucura mitruda co adrenalina,Algun inscrito sabe me informar que lugar esse tipo assim, estado e cidade.
He made a mistake by putting too many people in the front, but he handle himself pretty well in that situation and got the boat back in position. We all make mistake and learn from it.
They need to lock this captain up !! 🤦♂️
A couple of annoying things:
1. It's a PWC, not a Jet Ski. Jet Ski is a Kawasaki brand name. He was on a Sea Doo.
2. They're designed to be capsized and righted without damage. It's the nature of the game.
3. You can't ban them. They are, legally speaking, class A inboard powerboats. They pay all the same taxes and have the same rights as any other boat.
That said, I do enjoy your channel and excellent video work.
I wasn't sure if those kids were entertained or scared out of their wits? They certainly could have been injured and there was little relief until that boat got back into the inlet.
why do they get to the roughest spot then turn around in that rough spot lol?
It’s crazy how people risk their…….
5:55 I think he shut down 2 of his motors and was only trolling into the waves.. Concern must have been That he was towing a mooring line off of the bow..? *He probably took off in a hurry to meet a guy Carrying a shipment of cocaine
just a silly question , why dont people bail out the boat using anything. very few in any of the videos do.
I don’t drive a boat, but even I know to move people to the back of the boat if they’re getting water in the front of the boat and to get the goddamn thing I’m plain so it doesn’t fell with water
The waters seem a bit choppy.
“What do you think of this haul design” the deadrise is a great design for the right captain..
A well known fact boats sink when there is too much water, just the right amount water seldom causes a sinking problem.
why does that first boat look like its built to dive under the waves instead of float on top of them?
Stuffing the bow has entered the chat.
The world we live in where people value their phone more than their lives....
As I’m in California what’s the attraction of this insanely rough area?
It's how you leave Miami and go fish. Or whatever you do in a million dollar boat.
Looked like the guy driving didn't have a clue what the outcome would be after filling the boat with salt water. I'm surprised it ran as long as it did before sinking.
