Overtaking boat makes way.
You do realize that turning around in the middle of a tight and rough inlet is extremely dangerous? Also, going too slow in a following sea in a rough inlet could result in getting pitched sideways or potentially capsizing. The jet ski needs to get out of the way.
@@mikecopenhaver3707 I did say it was a tight inlet, and that speeds were unsafe for the conditions. Blasting a 60ft yacht at full plane is not a speed safe for conditions, the rules state, YOU MUST DEVIATE FROM THE RULES TO AVOID A COLLISION. That means you can plow thru dumb boaters and jetskis who arent following the rules. I may not remember every rule but that was one that I committed to memory as it was very important.
He definitely gave them the roughest ride possible.
You can wait for the next wave in the trough of the wave, but then you have to approach the wave head-on, otherwise there is a risk that the boat will capsize sideways
Stay in the rear with the beer.
Nice Ocean master
The Dusky Captain owned the inlet. Did far better than larger vessels.

Jet skis need to stop playing in the inlets. 😮
