The fact that this game isn't afraid of showing realistic, raw and even cruel scenes about war is probably what makes it so great. Also, you can tell the amount of work that went into the cutscenes, the animations feel authentic and help emphasize the actors' performance, the shots are kind of generic but add a lot to the acting and story, the transitions keep the player's attention... It's been so long since I last said something like "This CoD has a great campaign"
The shots being generic is intentional. It’s supposed to feel like you’re classic army movie. It’s what makes the game immersive and cinematic.

I like the part at 1:47:47 where the player is commanded to kill the power so the enemies can’t see and then the player takes off his night vision, realizing the lights have been on this whole time.
I was so hooked with this story. Reminded me of when I first played Black Ops. It’s just so well written.

Remake is literally the exact same thing with different features, a reboot is basically what it means. A restart, this is a whole new story a whole new world. Characters that were dead are now alive so it’s way different, don’t try to be a smart ass when saying it’s the same thing. They are two completely different things.
@Matheus Kawata Its always sad that Ghost & Roach, two characters who had their first appearances in the same game (MW2) died in it.
I guess we’ll see how well this ages after the games dead within a month like the rest.

GOT to admit, this new engine is genuinely impressing me for the first time in a CoD game. Some of these cut scenes are scary life-like, and are giving DICE a run for their money.
It's the same engine as all the other CoDs back to CoD 2, just heavily modified.

Argh! In black ops, you are tasked with killing Fidel Castro, and he uses a woman as a shield, you end up shooting Castro but the woman then pulls a gun and starts to shoot, unless you shoot her first. It later turns out you only killed a double of Fidel Castro.

This whole game is like a cutscene it’s just so gorgeous
I still tell people to this day, and I do still think the same way that the scene where the terrorist jumps on a family minivan and just shoots his entire mag out inside the innocent vehicle filled with a family is one of the most disturbing scenes I have ever seen in a Call Of Duty. Its intense, terrifying and scarily real. That is why I loved this campaign also.
