I am really liking Elite these days. They are doing the right things. I am still shooting Mathews for my target bows, but when it comes time for a new one, I will be looking closely at Elite. This is the perfect crossover bow... looks like a mini verdict which is killer.
I’ve been hunting with my exalt 35 in western SD this weekend. Overall weight is a little heavier but it’s so stable in the wind. Love it! Didn’t get a antelope but deer season opens sep 1st
I sold my Remedy and Regret it every day. I like my Lift 33 but absolutely LOVED THAT ELITE FEEL . Definitely considering buying this bow (to close to hunting season to change now ) HELLO POST SEASON 😂🎉
Iam always amazed at how light an arrow you guys hunt with over there , after watching Chris Bee on his Buffalo hunt his arrows were obviously way to light as well . Nice bow , Ive got an Era and Ethos currently .
my total arrow weight ready to hunt is now at 509. pretty middle of the road, good speed and heavy enough to carry momentum through whatever I'm going to hunt
I actually turned my evolve 35 into a hunting rig for this year. It used to be my 3d specific bow but have since got 2 mathews for 3d and target and put some 70lb limbs on the evolve. Its a heck of a shooter. I have the solid cable slide and even have the new 3 piece strings on mine so its basically the same tech that they had in 2022. I still love the evolve cams with low letoff mods. Tons of speed and smooth draw. If i replace the evolve in the next year though I am strongly considering elite. I cant shoot short bows after years of target. They feel awful to me, lol. 33-35 is what i would look at for hunting now
I have a athens axxis 35. 35 inch axle to axle. Ive been contemplating taking it hunting whitetail. It shoot so well. That elite looks good! I need to shoot a newer elite.
I tnhink Elite has some of the best looking risers on the marlet and a great draw cycle. Unfortunately they refuse to design a bow with a DL beyond 31" so the long draw guys can play.
With the LD and the hunting line dropping, what are you thoughts of the draw cycle for a 27.5 inch draw, I hear being lower on the cam makes it draw easier but I’m debating with the 33 ata and the 2 Exalts.
I love my Ethos. The one and only complaint or gripe is the lack of in line stuff and a stand. I just did a 3d printed pic rail that attached to the limb pocket and then this drops.
@@mikeftball44 I don’t know what else Elite is going to drop for this year but if I was a betting man, I’d say they will include the inline upgrades with other models.
Well this is my first flagship bow that I bought and I put Elite in the testing because of your videos and it is the one I liked the most. I can’t really afford to get a new one for a long time as I got four kids that are all into bow hunting with me so. I got to save up to get them all going still.
Stupid question and it should be quite obvious to me; what’s the point of pic rails mounted to the limb bolts? I’m assuming GoPro and some sort of rope attachment system to pull it up in a tree stand?
Not a stupid question at all. I liked the go sticks on the Hoyt which is a bi-pod basically so I thought I’d make a pic rail similar to the one I have on the bottom of my rifle to attach a Harrison bi-pod to my bow. Then Elite just did it. Also seen one on to so I’m sure they are going to do some attachment for pulling your bow up into the stand.
No, you can use either or both if you need a lot of correction without moving one as much. The top tends to give a little more correction just like with shimming.
@@jeffcordero_ all good bud! I'm looking at a new long axle bow later in year, down to lift 33, rx8 ultra and the elite exault (if they offer a longer draw option). Set tech seems a bonus to me!
@@the_sharp_carpenter it’s all good I love everyone’s set ups but my own and I think those speeds are most people’s preferred speeds which is all good it kills and shoots great that’s all that matters.
I said this for years. I’ve shot Hoyt for over a decade and actually gave the ethos a legit go this year and I’ve enjoyed shooting it way more than I ever thought.

exactly what it is. same cams
Love your videos, clear and concise. You the man.
Was waiting and hoping for this video to come out, ..this bow jumped to the top of my bow upgrade list👌
I made the switch after shooting a 2015 synergy that’s smoother than a lift

Awesome build video brother. Loving the shop/studio!
its coming along
Can’t wait for my shop to get one.
My old PSE EVOLVE 35 is a backup bow now. I hunted and shot 3-d with it for about 3 years. 35” is a good length for all around shooting.

Thanks, I was thinking about this.
@@stevenhornbuckle8007 I’m really excited to see what I can do with this bow
Still shooting the Omnia. Elite 👑
Jeff….The UltraView Slide sight you have on this bow, do you use that sight for target shooting as well?

I really enjoyed this style of video and that bow looks sick with the slate gray. Also what vise are you using ?
Ever end up using the 75 limbs? And if so... How are the speeds?
With the LD and the hunting line dropping, what are you thoughts of the draw cycle for a 27.5 inch draw, I hear being lower on the cam makes it draw easier but I’m debating with the 33 ata and the 2 Exalts.
I’m looking for a hybrid target/hunting bow
with the SET aren't you supposed to do the same to the top and bottom cam? looks like you only adjusted the top cam??
The only problem with this is, they didn’t release it sooner when I was buying. Still, I think I’ll have one before too long.
My remedy is running at 13/16 and I’ve never touched the set technology

Bit surprising they didnt make the draw length longer
I thought you had to move top and bottom together on the Set technology?
No, you can use either or both if you need a lot of correction without moving one as much. The top tends to give a little more correction just like with shimming.
What length stabilizer and side bar are you using?
12 out the front 8 out the back
But can you shoot indoor with it?
With the set do you tend to just adjust the top and not the bottom? Thanks for the vid
It’s recommended to move both evenly. If you’re just needing a very small adjustment, you can just do the top or bottom
@@Bluesplayer789 what I didn’t mention in the video is the top cam had a little more lean than the bottom so I only adjusted the top.

Top and bottom equally is the recommendation.
So good that you'll get rid of the Ethos?
@@ecrank83 no, I’ll still probably use it for for whitetail but you couldn’t you wanted just 1 bow
How does the exalt compare to the verdict as a target bow?
@@PhilipGreeson same cams, 2” smaller ATA, slightly different riser design.

With smooth mods
A 35in bow that only goes to 30” draw is a bit of an oversight imo.
Nothing different from this than my Axxis 35
If Athens never closed….
That’s why it’s so slow because the performance mods are not on it 😢
How is 337 ibo slow on a target based bow? Performance mods ibo at 344.
