That is one of the most beautiful bows I have seen. That bronze color on the cams is nice!
Nice looking bow and finish, possibly a fusion finish by far the best finish on a bow. I also like the simple old school look of this riser.
The more I look at this bow, the more I think, this is just about the perfect whitetail rig. It absolutely checks all the boxes. I currently shoot an EVO EVL 32. That bow is fantastic. Nothing wrong with having both.

Pse has always been good about ibo rating
This is great for the consumer. PSE is no stranger to making a fast rig. With these speeds hopefully the other “Big 3” take notice and start giving us numbers that someone can reproduce. I will say the MFJJ is doing bow test and getting variances between the Garmin and Traditional Crono

Draw weight was about 1% over so it gives more speed, however fist time realistic numbers 🏹

The pse evo nxt 31 was way faster than the ibo rating, the decree looks awesome
The EC2 cam doesnt get the respect it deserves. It can be put on a 6" brace and compete with the bows rated faster. I have one on a Fortis 33 and its crazy smooth and adequately fast for the specs. Rotating mods, 90% letoff, can change mods for even more speed. It is a great cam
Do you have any idea what the speeds would be PJ using a hunting weight arrow? Something around 450 to 500 grains. Assuming same poundage in draw length.
For 450 grains….probably low 300s. Idk about 500 grains.

It’s the arrow rest that has no felt on it. It’s not the bow
i have had a ton of different bows in my life. I really liked the PSE i had. I sold it and got a hoyt carbon RX3 and im dissapointed

Back in my day we rubbed extra dirt in the cams just to make sure the bow wasn't too comfortable - didn't want it getting soft on yah.

Well the draw weight is 70.6 lbs and not 70 so "technically" it may not be over it's rated speed. Probably right at the upper end of its rating. BUT I've seen other PSE's at or over its rating which is unique in the industry.

So PSE finally figured out how to get IBO from a little 400gr arrow lol. You wouldn't have thought would have taken a decade.
How long have you been around bow testing? Not long because it seems you expect the world from the manufacturers. Travel back in internet time and look up some "claimed" ratings from all sorts of bow manufacturers vs what they really put out. Heads up: you're going to be really disappointed I some of the "big name brands".

They already had the decree…. Just like they already had the evo/evolve. Gets confusing. Love PSE but come out with new names for the new bows instead of recycling them from a decade ago. Lol. I suppose it might save $ on trademarks or something like that. Regardless I can’t wait to shoot this thing. Still want last years carbon bow after all the positive reviews it got
I think the numbers would be staggering on the number of deer walking around wounded and die slowly from bow hunters. When the indains got rifles they tossed their bows why go back in time to gut shot or wound an animal when you can turn out its lights with a rifle.. I'm a hunter and x bow hunter. I have a question,? If you were to choose how to die would you want to die quickly or have a arrow shot though your gut... so tierd of everything bow hunting.. especially when you pay as much for a bow as you do a rifle.
Rifle and Xbow hunters never shoot deer in the guts? If you get a good compound bow like this PSE Decree you can develop the precision to NOT hit the deer in the guts!
I'm not even that old and I can't tell you how many times I've seen rifle hunters here in PA shoot whitetail in the guts/back legs. There's something to be said for the "power" of a rifle encouraging people to take even less ethical shots than bowhunters, too. Both methods can be more than ethical, both can be harmful. Just based on the hunter.

I would disagree with this video and say….this is not the “1st” company to “Lie” about their speed ratings!! Every manufacturer out there lies about their speed ratings!! And physical wt ratings and brace heights and ATA etc! They all do it. I have rarely seen a bow consistently hit the speed ratings advertised. So i don’t think this is anything new. U cant really say PSE is the first. And i am not even a PSE fan or shooter necessarily But u cant say they are the only company out there that lies!!
The point was, the bow shot faster than the speed rating for it…..

You see a lot of bows 10 fps or more slower than rated speed. 70.6 lbs draw weight and 339 or 340 fps is basically just the rated speed. But you rarely see it. Darton is trying to publish "actual speed"s, but not sure how close they are.
Mfjj got at rated speed with the 35 st2. I can imagine the others have to be close
So you're 3/4 over the 70 pound rating. Which probably accounts for your 3 ft per second higher I really thought you were going to show us something spectacular
Two things to consider:
There are diminishing returns on speed the higher your draw weight becomes.
and
Most bows come in well below their advertised IBO speed.

Because not all of us are built like Sasquatch. Short draw guys benefit with shorter ATA bows

@@jasonnester9514 I am 6'4" and shoot at 30.5" (I'm sure my choice of release and d-loop affect that) - having said that, there are still quite a few bows out there that will stretch to 31" and beyond, not to mention grip, anchor point, d-loop, and release will all affect your draw length. Unfortunate for larger guys that so many don't reach 31", but there are still a bunch of options for us out there.

Hey, that means you can buy based solely on the feel of the bow in your hand and how it feels to shoot. Don't have to worry about cosmetic choices, then.

Please stop showing bad habits. Every video you do you pull a bow back with no arrow in it to test draw weight. If that d loop breaks you just dried fired it. To many people watch you to teach them it's ok to draw without an arrow
As someone that accidentally dry fired my very first bow 3 days after I had it setup, I concure!

This smells like a publicity stunt. 337 is pretty slow for a flagship bow. The new hoyt is 344 for example.
The bow is hitting 340, nowhere near slow.
You have to take into consideration the reason this video was made is that the bow actually hit above the advertised speed - and many bows don't even get to their advertised speed.
So, you prefer an advertised IBO of 344 that only clocks with ac average of 337 from independent testing vs an advertised 337 that clocked in at 340?
I know the archery community has a huge variety of preferences, but as a Mathew's shooter I would rather get a higher chrono speed in person than claimed in the website.

For the people to stupid to comprehend what im saying i guess i will spell it out for you. I think PSE knew exactly what their IBO speed was, and then advertised under it to get people to buy it because they "overdelivered", and possibly even collaborated with lancaster to make this video. Its like when a company sells shoes normally for $100, hikes the price up to $150, and then puts them "on sale" for $100 to get people to buy them.
