Love the content and your knowledge of BlackBerry devices. I'm a 2 phone carrier as well. S8 for work and the Classic for everything else. Funny enough, when I have issues with the corporate issued S8 and I have gone to my old Q10 work device, which is still tethered to my work content via Wi-Fi, and I get way more reliable feed back on traditional messaging.

The fact that neither iOS or Android understand that any communication from a favorite contact requires the same notification signals annoys me. BB10 Rocked that. Classic was a great phone our department bought piles.
I own two Blackberry Classics new in the box. Sadly, it’s too late to unbox them as nowadays in Portugal no operator bothers to provide the BIS anymore. It ended in March 2020; they said it was not profitable. What I have here is a pair of expensive, beautifully made phones that were left without the chance of making no more than calls and SMS, like any $20.00 phone. No email capacity, no Internet anymore. I own a 9900 too and frankly, I think that its battery is by no means up to the task, severely downgrading an otherwise good phone. And I have a drawer full of Curves and Bolds that I carried for seven years, all retired when the BIS ended here... Really sad.
Great video. Just a quick one, i really want to go back to bb10 but honestly, how usable is? The only thing im interested is listening to podcast youtube and Facebook. Is there any chance for that with these devices?
They mostly work he’s. Facebook lite works but you have to download load the apk file from somewhere. UA-cam works. Where do you listen to podcasts? An app or a website?
It depends of your habbits and expectations. Classic will give you better keypad, but Passport bigger screen and more performance. I'm a Classic user, but I'm planning to switch to a Passport 'cause of media consumption. I know that Classic have the better keypad and voice call, but I need more than 2 GB of RAM and and a much bigger for media, as well as more performance for more Android apps. If you're just a simple guy who don't rely of social apps, than Classic is definately an ultimate communication device for you, but if you're hanging on yt a few hours everyday, or using social media apps very often, than Passport is better for you "cause it have a much better performance in overall stats.
Love that Classic. I wish it came out with Android. Just switched from my LG back to a DTek50. I know that's not a real BlackBerry. Hard to let the brand go.
I never tried one. I've been keeping my eyes open trying to find a good deal on one but they're few and far between and expensive. The classic was awesome. I just hope that if blackberry makes another phone that they make a new classic but with better specs and Android.
Hi... I purchased bb classic but while setting up bb id, it's saying can't connect to bb server and also Google contacts not synced ... Any suggestion pl
I have been watching your videos to try and figure out if I should get one of these for work. I’m just really trying to figure out if I would be able to use my email on the device ? I only need the phone for calls, text and emails so just wondering before I buy. Thank you

Is is it worth holding till 5g comes out? And what will be the bestvthing to do and if uvcanbtell me more bout the newest blackberry coming out then the vadics we know already?
Have never tried one, would also love to have it in my (tiny but growing ) collection. I know that Skype is a bit 2000s, bit Skype Lite works quite well on BB10, even video calls. I also set up Whatsapp successfully on a Leap that I have to an employee after her phone passed away. I also think Line might also still work. Never tried WeChat, nobody really seem to use that in South Africa...wonder if Hangouts will work via Firefox, gonna give that a try! I found a Leap in white for vert cheap, rare to see the color versions of BB10, think I am going to take the plunge! Cheers!
Wechat never worked on my passport. I did get a work around for whatsapp back in in 2018 but last time I tried it it wanted to "update" it and no... it wouldn't update. Skype works like a charm (out of the amazon store).
My classic arrived yesterday. This is my third one. Only because the first one dropped in the toilet. Sold my second one. Regrets regrets every where. I upgraded to the keyone so that's why I sold it.
Only thing keeping me from buying a classic and shelving my pixel 3a xl is this mess with Verizon killing off 3g. Anybody know if a classic can still be activated with verizon?
@@ronbijujacob7403 my guess is that it feels stiff because the keys aren't used often and also because you don't have the muscle memory built up in your thumbs

I never could type that fast on the keyboard for some reason I can type 70 words per minute on the BB 9000 but I couldn't do it on the classic I'm not sure if it was the keyboard itself but as far as keyboards on BBs I like the Passport 1# Z10 #2 the 9000#3 and the 9900#4 and the storm2 #5
I slipped in the creek at my camp and lost my BlackBerry Classic to water damage. I rarely slip as I've crossed that creek hundreds of times, but the one time I did it was listening to music on my phone. Luckily I was about 2 months away from paying it off so after paying it off early I was excited to upgrade to the Galaxy S8 because I had grown tired of lack of apps and some of my favorite being unusable on the 1:1 display, but after I got my Galaxy I began to miss the Classic after the newness wore off. Verizon recently killed 2G, meaning you can't make phone calls. If it weren't for that I would have gotten a new Classic. I'm also a college student hunting for my first car, so i can't buy a Key or Priv. The BlackBerry Classic is the best phone I've had. Better than the Galaxy S4, better than the iPhone SE. I really hope someone picks up the licence, as Blackberry is easily the best brand I have owned.
I was just planning to buy a blackberry cell phone that has more battery, between the classicc and the pasapport, but I saw that the q10 you could change the battery and have more driving time, although I have a z30 that for me is very good but for now I have it As the first phone and the truth that I have to be charging the battery, but what these phones really do for work is impressive
Can you please make a quick tutorial about some apps like Instagram, WhatsApp ? I threw it away in my drawer like two years ago when WhatsApp stopped working. Would definitely use it again if only the Android WhatsApp works well on it ?

I use the Classic for work and love the device. I also use the Iphone X as my main device. Nice video 👍🏼
Nice collection! And thank you
Which one is the best q10 or classic
I just want to buy give me a suggestion please
Probably the Classic. they both have the same specs but the Classic has a larger screen, bigger keyboard and the tool belt.
The fact that neither iOS or Android understand that any communication from a favorite contact requires the same notification signals annoys me. BB10 Rocked that. Classic was a great phone our department bought piles.
It sure was and is a great phone
Really sad.
While BIS was needed for the older BBOS devices like your 9900. The Classic runs BB10, so should have a bit more functionality.
@@TechOdyssey websites. And thanks for your reply
Which Blackberry has the best call quality and battery life?
Out of BB10 ,devices or including the new android ones?
@@TechOdyssey The whole shebang.
My blackberry classic has no application.I can only select language and wifi. Nothing else. How can I reload applications. Please help
Does anyone know if this phone will be supported in 2021? I recall reading that support is ending this year
I loved this phone and I'm thinking of getting it again. I never tried the Passport, do you think I should give that a try or go back to the Classic?
Got one of these, fantastic phone in every way, the battery lasts for days as well
It's definitely a fantastic device! I love it.
I just hope that if blackberry makes another phone that they make a new classic but with better specs and Android.
i want to buy this phone again, is the os able to run properly in 2020? what apps are bad etc xx
Agree to this. Tho I wasn't able to get a unit of Classic due to stock issues. Instead, I got a Passport, but looking forward of owning one. :)
Thank you
I'm getting tired waiting for the newbblackberry 5g can you please tell me what blackberry with keyboard that works with t mobile and has the best features and most modern ? Is is it worth holding till 5g comes out? And what will be the bestvthing to do and if uvcanbtell me more bout the newest blackberry coming out then the vadics we know already?
Is it useful if you're texting in different languages with different alphabets than the Latin alphabet?
Have never tried one, would also love to have it in my (tiny but growing ) collection. I know that Skype is a bit 2000s, bit Skype Lite works quite well on BB10, even video calls. I also set up Whatsapp successfully on a Leap that I have to an employee after her phone passed away. I also think Line might also still work. Never tried WeChat, nobody really seem to use that in South Africa...wonder if Hangouts will work via Firefox, gonna give that a try! I found a Leap in white for vert cheap, rare to see the color versions of BB10, think I am going to take the plunge! Cheers!
Facebook messenger life works perfectly too, and Spotify
you can install the whatsapp from the same page of the whatsapp, choose the android option and install it on the blackberry
Wechat never worked on my passport. I did get a work around for whatsapp back in in 2018 but last time I tried it it wanted to "update" it and no... it wouldn't update. Skype works like a charm (out of the amazon store).
Try installing Whatsapp by downloading the APK file. I found that APKPure updates the Whatsapp APK regularly.

You can install whatsapp from the same page, select android option and ready
Great video
Thank you! And thank you for watching. Have a great weekend
My classic arrived yesterday. This is my third one. Only because the first one dropped in the toilet. Sold my second one. Regrets regrets every where. I upgraded to the keyone so that's why I sold it.
Can you send the link to buy the mobile
They aren't brand new anymore. I bought this off eBay.
@@TechOdyssey OK thanks
If only they could make a larger version of this with a way better camera and running android - that would be the best thing since sliced bread!
My all time favourite mobile 😞
Badly missing now!
Yeah... it is/was such an amazing device. I can only hope for a refresh one day.
Thxs for the video
u seriously deserve more subscribers!
Only thing keeping me from buying a classic and shelving my pixel 3a xl is this mess with Verizon killing off 3g. Anybody know if a classic can still be activated with verizon?
Can you still use 9900 in 2020 ? All i need ie email, texts, phone and very minimal browsing...
My BlackBerry Classic keyboard is stiff. It is kinda hard typing now. Is there any way to fix it?
Did you just buy the phone or the keyboard recently became stiff?
@@TechOdyssey no I bought it about 4 years ago. I don't use it always. It is my backup phone. But now the keyboards are stiff and it is hard typing.
@@ronbijujacob7403 my guess is that it feels stiff because the keys aren't used often and also because you don't have the muscle memory built up in your thumbs
@@TechOdyssey no it was pretty smooth earlier... I guess it is because I don't use them often. Is it possible to clean the keyboard or something like that? Or if I use it more often will it become smooth?
@@ronbijujacob7403 you can't really clean it out. I think with more use it will likely loosen up some
Can I buy this at 2020
i am in love with this model and its my dream phone.
searched everywhere but unable to find this phone ..i badly need this phone :)
That looks an awful lot like one of my former devices. I've bought and sold quite a few over the years. I've always like a Classic.
It is such a great and classic device, for sure.
I always appreciated the long battery life. I could easily get a full day out of it.
YES UR RIGHT BEST BLACKBERRY MOBILE THAT TIME I WAITED FOR THIS DEVICE LAUNCH COZ M A BIG FAN OF BB MOBILE QWERTY ONE.
Can you have google pay on the blackberry classic after you installed google play store?
I'm not sure. I haven't managed to get google play store installed, and I have never used google pay.
The Classic was the best / is the best Blackberry 🔥
True story!
Definately!
How to buy BB classic nowadays...?
Ugh. That sucks... and I know that feeling very well. There hasn't been a real, complete replacement for this device or the BB10 OS
Which is better .. Classic or passport.
Sure. I've been planning on it. Maybe in a week or two. I have some other videos to wrap up first
If BB just bring this phone back with advance specs and updated Android OS, this will be a hype! iPhone just released their SE2020 with iPhone 8 design and iPhone11 specs. Why not BB? :(
How to buy a blackberry mobile in 2020?
Tell me what can I do with a classic on 2020? I really want to buy me one it's very pretty phone
Can you install wathappas?
Watching this on my bbq20 :)
I have always wanted that phone
It was a great phone. This is my third or fourth one lol - best keyboard ever.
I had the 9900 nd was lovely
didn't remember the blue version of the Classic. It looks good indeed! So bad the hardware was exactly the same as the Q/Z10
I'm still using blackberry passport
My mom is using mine. She loves it and I miss it.
How can i buy BB Classic
I got mine on ebay.
It’s good company
