  • I made this video for bboys out there who are going through the process of learning flares, its hard work but you will get there eventually with committment! My flares are still very unclean so I am hoping to put a progression video after a year. Added in some flare-mill combos too!

    It took me almost me 6 months of half-assed training and 6 months of flare drilling to actually get ONE round. I started working on windmills three months ago alongside flares and I've already got them while I'm almost on the verge of getting TWO flares.
    Everyone says you learn at a different pace but goddamn am I slow.

      Dude....it took me almost 4 years to even get 3 flares. haha. But after those 4 years, I was able to get 6 or 7 in a row pretty decently. ....then after years of not practicing them and doing lots of powerlifting, they were looong gone and currently, I'm back to trying to get 2 in a row. haha. My point: as long as you're actually progressing, no matter how slow, then I think you'll eventually get them if you're persistent enough. Key word: IF. And when you do get them, make sure you're maintaining your ability to do them or else the skill set might go away.

    Yep it's all down to your flexibility. You should be monster stretching 7 days a week and doing leg workouts.

    • @harvenator77

      I train about 4/5 times a week. And just hard work gets you to it, don't give up.

    • @harvenator77
      @harvenator77  6 років тому +1

      Hi same problem here but it isn't too bad anymore, the way to avoid it is by keeping your leg high for longer and pushing hard to get more lift at the back, keep practicing!
