This has been the hardest power move for me for years. I almost quit because I couldn't get this move mastered. I could only do one rotation. The coordination is the challenge. In my opinion this might be the best tutorial on flares. Thanks.
The Flare is the coolest move to watch ! Just Awesome 😎
Thank you for still making videos after all these years. I don’t break as much as I used to, but I’m glad you’re still teaching.
800,000 subs, well done man, you deserve that
Thank for the tip
Look at him now
Man you are the best explaining this kind of stuff (of course, i had to focus)
Really enjoyed that whole video.... not a single second wasted.... you are really talented bro..... i find so many videos on UA-cam for learning flare but most of them were lacking minute minute points but you've also included that points and explained it very well.... this video is very helpful..... keep making such great videos bro....this channel deserves more than 1million subscribers......😘😘😘😄😉😉😉😄🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
If he has merch that says "Focus" somewhere on it, I'd definitely buy it

Jarrod Johnson bro you’re 2 years late
😪😪
it was one of the best totourials i've ever watched !literally couldnt be better than that!thanks alot man
5:45 ...is key for me, for so long i've been doing that wrong, thanks, this is a game changer. and thanks for the 75 degree angle pancake, that's something i really needed to hear.
Yo! Good stuff. I agree with the stretching topic. I heard about if you stretch before a workout(weight lifting) you're actually weaker. I'm not 100% sure if that's true. I understand why I heard it though.
Let's say we are weaker. I think with an effective approach to hitting those moves is still very good. That means do your best to have good technique.
For anyone having trouble(like me) with stretching, try dynamic stretches after that 15 min warm up. There's a difference between static and dynamic stretching. I think static is stationary stretching. While dynamic is kind of like doing wide armed push up, jumping jacks, squats, etc.
Zen says too much warm up and stretching is not advisable in weight lifting. And power lifting.
Love this man
I will start practicing
Thanks
What are you practicing? Calisthenic, Break Dance...?
I'm the opposite of flexible and I've always wanted to know just how flexible you have to be to do flares, thx for the tips
Among the coolest tutorials! Thank you so much Man😍😍🤩🤩
Thank you, love your personal feedback in contrast to the "research".
Hey guy today I'm going to show you how to be first in the comments, but you gotta focus
Great video! You can practice the L-sit on the rings, too. I assume straightening the arms while holding the L-sit is crucial. Really great advice about stretching. I haven't done the flares in a long time, but I remember that when I had stronger arms, it was much easier to do several flares. I need to build up the arm strength to do it again because I have no problems with the kicks and going around (because I am good at the windmill). I also remember I did them better when I leaned backward as my legs came around the front and forwards when they came through the back. I'll try to learn them again! Thanks!
Nice haircut Lucas. Who else recognise
*make a video about all your tricking videos*
order them by what is easiest to begin with, what requires more strength, mobility or coordination etc.
You have dozen of videos and i really want to begin learning, but i don't know with what.
I am in good shape but have no tricking experience at all.
Love your vids. Love your hobbies. Want them too.
I always love when he says "bUt yOu gOtTa focus"

Good talk doawg! I am clearly way to weak and inflexible to even think about trying them but, hey, I did think about it!
This is the reason i started to do push daily
Thank you for the tips, man!
Warmed up to this now I’m bout to go skate📍
Very good tutorial
fresh hair cut man, looking good
I've learned flares in a month, but it's been 2 years now and I still don't have clean flares, they're high and my foot doesn't touch the ground, but when I go to the back of the flare, I still tuck my leg in, I guess I'm just not flexible enough, can barely do a 45° when I'm doing that leg stretch. I can do 2 flares, 5 at most, but after 2, my legs get lower. I'll definitely try these tips, thank man!
That part when you said to kick your legs made it a lot easier
Great video I loved it.
Awesome dude 😎😎
You're good man
Thank for the tip
hey man can u tell me how much time needs those flares to achieve?i'm a begginer never tryed to do flares or breakdance before..so how many months i'm gonna need?
first day an i can't even do the half flare is it normal?it looks so easy when u are doing it :p
it is normal, it will take 2-3 weeks minimum of 20-30min of daily pratice to achieve ONE clean round, then some what more time to achieve multiple rounds. (1 clean round took me 1 month, >5 almost a year)
I'm slow so it took me years, though I didn't practice consistently and importantly, didn't have anyone to learn them from.
Listen to the advice in this video, he offers some of the best practical info about the planche and shoulder positioning.
perfect video! hope i get the flare soon
Me too
Jesse Borner and
Hello! I'm having trouble with my non master hand (left hand) i cant seem to properly land it on the sweeping motion any help i wanna learn flares so bad :(
Sir , Do you require Gym for this moves 🤔
A gym is not recommended
A gym may cause slight irritations in the frontal cortex

Lets go to 1 mil
My first leg that kicks up isn’t kicking up hard enough. Is this a strength thing or a flexibility thing?
What do you do if your arms are the same length as your butt when you depress your shoulders?
I don't get any height when I do that.
Thanks so moch

Would being able to do windmills help with flares
I injured my hips while doing flares what should I do
what age do this my brother is 6 years old and do this
Please do an aerial in 5 minutes tutorial.
Well, let's just said that some people can do flare, if they trained really hard in order to perform flare perfectly
Could you do a video on wether supplements(like Whey protein and creatine)are necessary or not?🙏
Jon Wick they are definitely not necessary. If you want a little more protein in your diet you could take some whey protein but creatine is no where near necessary. Getting your daily recommended protein is very much achievable without supplements.
loo minaty
Yup, and too much protein can actually be unhealthy
(Merry christmas 🖐🏻...🎅🏻...👌🏻) hou - hou - hou !
This guy is cool
nice bro
Bro how much weight required to do flares
As long you're not TOO heavy or heavy to the point where you can't support your own bodyweight you should be fine.
I like the fade in your hair ;P
I subscribed your channel bro
tjanks
Where can I get that tank top?
I'm sorry but as many of these as I watch I never not chuckle when he says "but you gotta focus!"
