This conversation highlights how people's reactions to foods like macadamia nut oil or avocado oil can really vary, especially when it comes to things like blood thickness or sugar levels. It goes to show that finding the right diet can be pretty personal. What might work great for one person, like including omega-7s for health benefits, might not do the trick for someone else.

as a type 2 diabetic, my findings or research so far has made me come to the conclusion that we shouldn't combine fats and carbs at the same time. They're 2 energy sources that fight to deliver energy. From my readings, fat will typically win, and that results in high and longer glucose spikes (in diabetes who don't have enough insulin to keep it down). Interesting how this video around a minute 25 into it kinda goes that route as well. I figure there's also probably a difference between eating steak and potatoes as high saturated fat and carbs type thing versus a bunch of fruits and a bunch of nuts. But yeah I'm still researching. I usually just tell diabetics to try and not take in both at the same time. Also interesting as you get into macadamia nuts which I do have for breakfast as it's shown to be good for diabetics to take.
Your note on taking oils specifically I'd be hesitant on, only because it's a lot of fat in just a tablespoon, versus consuming the actual avocado or eating the actual macadamia nuts instead.

Having read the research in which the video stated that inflammation was induced via the feeding of a diet high in saturated fat, I would like to note that the fat referred to was not only vegetable fat, but hydrogenated vegetable fat, often made from corn, cottonseed or soybeans (though what I read did not specify whether the fat used was seed oil or some other kind).
I realize this has no bearing on the focus of the research, which is palmitoleic acid, but in view of the ongoing debate about the healthfullness, or otherwise, of saturated fat eaten in meat, I thought this information might be significant/important to some of those viewing this video, since it was definitely of import to me.

I try to eat whole, real food as much as possible now. The odd crisp want kill anyone. I however think that a short term keto, carnivore, etc may work with symptoms but am against doing it a long term as best to play it safe. Ppl need to try to move more, especially after eating. Here are the key takeaways from Thomas DeLauer's discussion on managing blood sugar levels with dietary fats:
    1. **Combination Concerns:** Mixing high amounts of fats and carbohydrates can lead to metabolic inefficiencies, described as "metabolic gridlock," where the body struggles to efficiently use either nutrient, particularly during high-intensity activities.
    2. **Selective Fat Use:** Focusing on specific types of fats, particularly certain monounsaturated fatty acids like Omega 7, can help improve glucose management and insulin sensitivity without needing to combine fats with carbohydrates at every meal.
    3. **Research Highlights:** Studies indicate that higher levels of Omega 7 in the bloodstream are associated with better insulin sensitivity, reduced liver insulin resistance, and improved cellular glucose uptake.
    4. **Dietary Sources of Omega 7:** Omega 7 can be found in foods like macadamia nuts, avocado oil, and sea buckthorn berries, with macadamia nuts being particularly rich in this fatty acid.
    5. **Anti-Inflammatory Benefits:** Omega 7 has potential anti-inflammatory effects that can enhance the insulin signaling pathway, improving glucose flux into muscles and helping with the synthesis of glycogen.
    6. **Practical Dietary Tips:** To harness the benefits of Omega 7, it's recommended to consume oils rich in this fatty acid, like macadamia nut oil, with lean proteins rather than with high-carbohydrate foods. Macadamia oil is also beneficial for cooking carbohydrates due to its high smoke point and nutrient content, potentially reducing glucose spikes.
    7. **Supplemental Advice:** While DeLauer generally does not advocate for frequent use of supplements, he highlights a symbiotic supplement from Seed, which combines prebiotics and probiotics, as potentially beneficial for overall gut health and glucose metabolism.

Not actually that simple. More complex. As you eat more fat, you can become more insulin resistant. So although glucose levels and insulin levels look great... the moment you have carbs your body has a harder time. In a non diabetic, you have TONS of beta cells so you'll just release stupid amounts of insulin to drop your numbers down. Do that long enough and enough beta cells die down. Combine that with saturated meat fats creating ceramides which also seem to show they don't play well with beta cells and you start becoming a silent diabetic.

Butter doesn't lower but it helps by not spiking as much . But always check for ursekf eat a piece of toast plain then test ur glucose then do it again later when back to base levels and slather with butter , then check .. it works

when you say “where people aren’t rational” … I agree but why don’t you say what you really mean and what everyone knows… Women…you’re talking about women. This is a problem with women and some dudes who can’t get women any other way but by Politisimping… Or Actisimping .. . Simptivating? .. Yes the widespread inclusion of emotions and illogic is a critical problem

You are obsessed with glucose levels to the point where you ignore the deleterious effects of animal products entirely and how the human body is not designed to eat them.
