I keep telling people HH is the most comfortable weapon out there BEFORE taking into account the songs, you sprint like a maniac and have huge reach, plus KO potential. Positioning is everything with HH so it's the first thing you learn, amazing weapon.

That was amazing. I truly don't understand how people solo with anything other than lance. I absolutely cannot dodge in this game. Even with maximum window I can't even dodge a roar. I've got 1500 hours in this game, and I can't handle anything tougher than an Odogaron without a giant shield.

Id like a HH tutorial on how to deal with adhd monsters like Zinogre.
Its a lot easier for me to allocate time to getting important songs out and hitting the big monsters, but that rubberball makes it very hard to even ever use base recital
Against Zinogre huh, that could be arranged.
So, going from my 4U and 3rdP days, against Zinogre you want to stand in his right arm, and look to his left so you're perpendicular to him. Then you gonna use right swing (Circle/B), then you wait, then you use right swing, then you wait, then you use right swing(...)
Not sure if it works in Iceborne, but it did work wonders in the older titles, he got stunned in less than a minute every start of a hunt lol
Damn this weapon makes me grind my teeth, and just watching you play gives me that feeling as well. It's a combination of sound effects, animations and hitstuns that makes me "Hrmmmm!" so hard every time an Encore hits the head of a monster that it hurts my jaws lmao
Hunting Horn feels so good when you pull off stylish, but also extremely impactful moves. Support weapon and corner horner my foot, this weapon hurts the brain of both monsters and mine.

First video of yours I've seen. Fun stuff. Mid-way thru the video you mentioned that you can wallbang sleeping monsters if you don't turn them. You actually can turn and wallbang sleeping enraged monsters. I do 1 turn wallbang sleeping enraged all the time, 100%. I've done 2 turn wallbangs on sleeping enraged, but I don't think it's 100% chance to succeed as I have failed before.
HH is my fave. You get the class fantasy of swinging a huge two-hander with precision and on top of that your buffs and the builds you have make you a monster solo or everyone's favorite party member. Kinda miss slicing that tail, tho, ngl.
Been hh main in my first char. Now on my second char I main swaxe and bugstick. That's a sweet finisher I tell you.

BTW the tell for if he's going to super roar twice is that he'll delay the roar a bit compared to normal

Thanks for the Hunting Horn Tutorial. I am a beginner at it but I am enjoying it a lot. I am still struggling with all the moves though.
Just make sure to practice on easier monsters to not get overwhelmed too quickly. It's more of a gentle walk than a race to learning the weapon.
@@Uno_Hunter thats what i am going to do. I struggle a lot in high rank so I will slow down the pace a little bit and start from low High Rank again. I am currently still overwhelmed by how much you have to think about while at the same time fightning a monster.

6:24 Blast is considered an ailment, so yeah, the song works for this weapon. Not a huge deal unless you spam the spin attack, but it helps a lil bit.

Nothing is more satisfying than smacking a monster upside the head with a giant instrument. It feels even better with slugger and partbreaker. It also feels great being able to heal and buff the entire party while dealing damage

i wouldn't mind a hh tutorial barely played it. trying to get back in the game. hopefully wilds brings back water battles for extra content. Caedeus is still my favorite to this day.
Hunting horn is fun reached velkhana with it,also impact echo wave knocking diablos and jyuratodos out of underground is badass.

Some things you might already know -
When you play the “B” note (light blue in the case of the brachy horn) your character swings the hammer twice. This is an opportunity to play 2 notes in the same animation
You play the light blue note first, but if you press another button on the second swing of the animation the game will accept that as a note without needing the animation.
Works on every horn. The right face button will always do the double swing which allows 2 notes to be played at the cost of a single animation.

Hunting horn is really nice. Especially when you dont play it as a supportive role. HH should be treated more like a dmg carry or something like that. Let the support stuff do the sns player :D
My first MH game was Rise back when it 1st released in the switch and I became a hunting horn main. I really enjoyed the weapon. As a beginner in the franchise HH was the easiest for me to master. Even though I tried all other weapons I still like using HH. Now I'm planning to get MHworld and still gonna be a HH main.😁 and maybe gonna try some other weapons.
Dude, i just started using the hh and found your vids, i really enjoy your content and i think a tutorial would be awesome but can you do world and rise please, i feel like the obvious choice is world because is the popular game but i can't find a good tutorial from rise and i would love the maestro uno to be the one to teach me
I feel like Rise horn is so much easier to use but is so vastly different from a typical hunting horn and I'm not even sure how to approach how to teach it. I might make one at some point but I need time to prep out how I want to go about explaining Rise horn.

I use it mostly for the style and it feels good. For me it's not always about how much damage you do, but how fun the weapon is for you.

Im a former switch axe main who only got into hunting horn to keep my noob hammer friend alive, and i just never switched back afterward.
Anyone who say HH is a support weapon has obviously never seen us do the doot dance then facetank some sh!t that should have 1-shot us. Then heal that dmg off without a single potion
HH ruined all other weapons for me, i just cant even function without all the time saving songs like stam up, speed up, and lord praise the def up song that has kept me alive where any weapon other then the lance would see me in a cart.
And it wasnt even that hard to pick up honesty! Im not youtube compilation good but i really can't understand why people say its a hard weapon to play? It has training wheels build in?! You mess up on any other weapon your dead, but if you have a HH that fits what your fighting your as close to godhood you can get.

yes the hunting horn is underrated its damn good ...im not good with the melodies...but its pure melee is fanfuckintastic...and i find it to be a hilarious weapon...who thinks " hey im going to use my musical instrument to kill some monsters?" i find myself wondering what the hell the weapon designers were smoking when they thought up the hunting horn...i want some!
make sure your swords are blunt, your hammers are sharp , and your hunting horns are tuned!

I think it's easy to pick up but a bit harder to be efficient with it, especially with the hidden tech that the I don't think the game tells you about.
