- This whole run made me realise how forgiving those games actually are.
There are so many options devs provide to the players, but if you neglect everything especially playing with no armor.. oh boi then it is pure pain

Aren't we all? Hell, I own a few titles I'm in the middle of a fresh run for (3U, 4U, GU, World, and probably Rise). Made even better since I'm not using an emulator for the first two games, and 3DS online services ended. Which is fine by me. The runs are all solo to begin with. It'll be a monumental achievement for me to hit G-Rank on my own power and skill
he should play other mh games at least. Seems his infatuation with world is making him only make world videos. Waiting for 4U...

3DS online doesn't end til April actually. I would know since I'm working through 3U (and soon 4U) on original hardware right now
Though like you, I'm doing it solo since everyone in the lobbies, in 3U anyway, are all HR999 doing Abyssal or Dire Miralis runs and I'm doing my end of High Rank farm. (Or they're HR2)

I recently just beat 3U's Village Alatreon with my HR Azure Rath gear and it was a real challenge. No carts and only 28 seconds left. Can't wait to see what the rest of the game and 4U have for me (inb4 Capcom remasters them this year lol)

I just started my own challenge run where i only have 1 cart per mission, and can only use item from the provision box.
Anyway, great video !
Make it a bigger challenge by only using items in the enviormemt with no carts allowed.
Next, beat Iceborne without armor

Even viper tobi would be a nightmare to deal with, especially since he didn't use any armor or decor, the fight is not hard, the attack isn't that unpredictable, but the poisons, those are the real issue

@@navarel9892Hate to break it to you, but poison is not an issue. I've been doing this challenge through iceborne the past good bit and EVERYTHING 1 shots you. Basically you have to play every hunt perfectly, with only 2 mistakes. I can never look at any 'easy' monster the same now lol. Even the Vespoids and normal Jagras or the like 1 shot you in master rank, its awful

Against the Kushala Daora, you could have swapped to the Bow to negate a lot of his BS. And yeah the Bow dies in 1 hit but I mean it's not like that's an issue in a no armor challenge run like this anyways lol flash pods and spread shot, bring some stuff to craft more power phals and flash pods mid fight, gg

I respect the choice in gunlance, there are in my opinion a few weapons that can be played without gear quite normal like Greatsword, Hammer, Longsword, SnS, Chargeblade, Light Bowgunthat can make most of this challenge quite easy.
I enjoyed this video. World is my favorite MH game so far. 701 hours total, still haven't beaten master rank yet. I just like going and beating up monsters tbh, sometimes wandering around in the world.

Best weapon against Kushala is, in my opinion, Insect Glaive. You can dodge it's wind attacks from a mile with one jump.

He said no defender weapons, in base world they added a tree called defender to every weapon type and its got the best stats in vanilla. Designed to help you speedrun to iceborne
