Why would anyone want to paint over such beautiful exposed beams? I appreciate it wasn’t your decision, you get asked to do it but. OMG some people have no taste……
Everyone has their own preferences, i think these will look brilliant when painted grey especially with the quality you guys work too. Top job as all ways. Peace be with you. Christopher.
Chaps, have you tried the new bin aqua. I highly recommend it. Much easier to apply, yet still furs up if you play with it too much. I’ll still keep a litre of bin on the van but I’ll try my best not use it anymore. Couldn’t have bared to have painted all those beams with bin
When the house eventually changes owners, someone will probably end up having the grey sandblasted off and back to bare wood again. Sutch a pity to lose years of patina.

The quality of your work is always outstanding, do you ever ask the question why? I thought the natural look of the beams brought the room to life.
No, No, that's a Crime in my book painting such beautiful wood. But you did a great job. Love to know your views.
Can't believe they wanted those lovely beams painted ! Wow 😯
Customers ask the strangest things. It’s our job to make those strange things a reality
Oh no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now go over them with some nice brown paint and some stencil wood grain effect and it will look finished.😂

Painting over old beams should be a crime against humanity!!
Nice exposed beams full of woodworm holes being painted. What a lot of kerfuffle for little benefit. Nice job as always, though 🤩

The customer is not always right! I would have said no to this.
Why? He’s a decorator, his job is to accommodate the clients wishes.

No idea how you work with BIN and no mask, it stinks to high heaven I'd have a headache in less than a minute.
