How To Change A Knife Detent Ball

In this video I swap the stock 440c steel detent ball with a Silicone Carbide Ceramic one on my Spyderco fluted titanium Military

I used 2mm balls and I ordered them off Amazon. Online knife supplies have them too.

Have you tried this on a Strider? Drives me nuts the detent ball is steel instead of ceramic.

I havnt. Only because it would void the warranty and with Striders you will probably need to use that warranty at some point
