I took out 2 of my Victorinox that's been in my drawers for I don't know how long and now I appreciate these things and carry it with me all the time thanks to you!
Just found out this was a thing, yours is flipping fantastic. It baffles me that Victorinox doesn't offer a custom knife build where you pick a model and the tools and colors.
Super nice tutorial mate! Thanks a lot for your contribution for those as myself who can't afford a hand made custom spydernox and would rather try to make one by themselves! Would love to see more about anodization! Getting better on video making, congrats buddy!
Thank you! Glad that you enjoyed the video and found it helpful. I will include a video about anodizing, but the process is VERY complicated and requires lots of different chemicals.
Anodizing titanium is easy. There are a ton of videos here on Yt showing how. I link some AA batteries and 9v's to really dial in the color I'm trying to achieve
I love the work you did with it. I would have chosen a different color for mine. Instead of the light green, I would have went with blue, but that's me, lol... just the same, good job!
@@FittoSurvive When you modify these stainless steel blades, (whether it's the Spiderco or SAK blades) by taking the grinder to them, do they have to be re heat treated or anything? I'm in the process of wanting to make a simple 2 bladed, slipjoint style SAK and want to grind down one of the blades to a sheeps foot

Well done job! I am impressed! The first thing I would change in Viktorinox is the ring, my own ring is strong, but it is too small, but I would like to tie the lanyard directly to Viktorinox, without using a small ring that can unbend.
Thank you! Maybe a cellphone lanyard would fit through the small keychain loophole? A paracord lanyard will definitely be too large to fit through without the ring.

You’ve bastardized that victoinox. By the end it looked like a victoinox and a spider had a baby but drank nothing but alcohol during the entire pregnancy.
Depending on scale/liner thickness you can sacrifice either the tweezer/tooth pick an open the hole a bit then you can add one of the micro led lights that are used for light up fishing bobbers/illuminated arrow nocks
Thank you! Yes, I can reuse the original aluminum liners. But they cannot be acid etched because aluminum does not react with the acid. I am looking into getting a system set up for anodizing the original liners. Then, I can choose just about any color for them.
I appreciate your talent and enjoy these videos. Thanks for posting them. Now, what's your opinion of silver colored covers with gold colored liners and spacers, and the tools retaining their factory finish? Good or too much like jewelry?

Your grinding will go much smoother if the wheel is centered and balanced on the shaft. If you have a lathe, make a proper flanged arbor with a bored center-hole and tight-fitting register.
