- I told you guys I would be coming in hard with new content now that I am back! Today's video is on the 2022 Audi S3 that just landed here in the states. I go over the exterior details, interior details and of course some exhaust revs all in 4K!
This car is really so much better in person, I honestly want one now lol I think I prefer the RS3 though (shhh).

Pretty cool, but having that 5th cylinder makes a huge difference 😎
Im in the edge of ordering one, but this thought is holding me back. I’m between a fully loaded s3 or a base rs3. Currently have a 2020 a3.

Trading in my sti for the new rs3, I’ll miss the 3rd pedal but the rs3 just looks and sounds so good

Great video man, really enjoyed it, I'm due to get an S3 next week, obviously I'm excited so came to UA-cam to get a preview beforehand haha, I had an A3 Sportback S Line early last year so assumed the S3 will be more of the same internally anyways. 🇬🇧

I’ve got an RS3 on order at the moment. The volume control is very reminiscent of the old Apple iPod days and the big touch pad click wheel to scroll through songs and adjust volume!!

Great review! The taillights look like the Jetta GLI though. I guess that's not surprising since they are somewhat related. This car is on another level though.

Good looking car. The shifter tho needs to be wider, you're right. All in all, seems an amazing car for a very reasonable price. Won't attract too much attention, which is also good. Always better to be incognito.

Yeah the Premium pack gives you the the normal wheel not the flat bottom because it has all the tech on it like the adaptive cruise control

Everything looks beautiful except the wheels imo. The ones on the new RS3 are sick tho. I also wish they kept the gear shift.

I have an A4 now...and it has some nice LED accent lighting on all 4 doors and along both sides of the center console. Does anyone know if the new S3 has anything like that?

@@yaboibakalli As far as I can tell you can’t. I think all you get is the hockey stick gauge. Maybe it depends on what display you option, idk. Either way this car is pretty sick.
I wish it came in a hatch. That's why I like the Golf R better.

Surprised to see there is no ventilated seats or heated steering wheel esp considering the Golf R is going to have both those features as standard.
The new golf R seems like it's going to surpass the new S3 in terms of performance and features. Very interesting since it seemed like Volkswagen was holding the Golf R back to make a difference between the S3 and Golf R.
@@liamhunter2403 I agree. I guess it helps some for all those 'you paid $45k what for a golf?' people. some will always snub their noses I guess. I'll take fun to drive, performance and features over the name though.
@@garteaga482 Lots of name brand people out there. People will opt for the Audi just to say they have an Audi and not a Volkswagen haha. I'm the same as you, I would choose the performance over the name brand.
They must have to differ it somehow, explains why the Sportback doesn’t come here. Golf Rs are going to be so hard to find, I already heard the ones on the lot have insane markup

Except for the pop out screen, the old one looks a lot better inside and out.

that gear selector is from Lamborghini. a3, s3 sale point is the part interieur design is inspired by Lamborghini

this car is gorgeous, i'm pretty upset i didn't wait and get this instead of my 2021 m235i GC(which is basically a bmw version of this), oh well but anyways ya my 2020 sti has slotted rotors, and it was priced at 36k, you'd be surprised there are cheap alternatives with slotted rotors!
I heard good things about the M235i GC. I’m actually surprised by how many cars have slotted brakes for the price ranges

The M235i GC is respected amongst reviewers and customers in Korea at least. It’s getting pretty popular compared to North America.
Sadly the new rs3 won’t come to North America because they disapproved the 5 cylinder engine 😢
🇺🇸Front lights are ok but taillights nope. More like the older ones. Soon Audi will introduce facelift so hopefully taillights be changed.

Audi is pretty good . I have premium plus 2022 q3. It feels great. My only issue is audi seems to get outdated fast.

I think you can and it’s cheaper it’s literally the same interior exterior
It would be similar but you won’t get the front fascia or the exhaust pipes or the interior stitching etc

I have an M2 now, but my previous car was a S3. I can’t believe how much worse this interior is. No damn shifter? Plus the circular vents are gone, which I loved. So is the flat steering wheel, and I actually loved the display on the last one, because you could hide it when not using it. It gave the interior a cleaner feel when it was hidden
I’m super bummed. I was considering going back to Audi

Combustion engine is very retro. VAG needs to make this all electric. Would do wonders with the acceleration!

@@Zain-tr2vo I'm not. I had a 2020 CLA45 and it was garbage. I lemon lawed that PoS and got an extra 5K on top of what I paid for it. My lawyer got 17k for his work. Why would MB buy the car back? They will lose in court. They know the CLA45 is still a crappy car.
I have a Q7 and had an S5. Audi is much better built and quality in my opinion.

@@ricetea1 okay thats fair but in my experience being in a cla 250 and the a3 the cla wins by miles. Engine is more responsive, interior is leagues ahead (not anymore) and the feel of everything is just better.

I am looking for the 22 S3, but dealers are asking 56k for them!!!! For that much I'd rather buy a Porsche Cayman. I don't have stupid written on my forehead.
I have a 2018 Ara Blue S3 Facelift with digital dash, honestly the 2019 models & older are much better than the new 21/22 models. New models have GPF which make the car so quiet plus it reduces power!
Also getting a 2019 model or before means you have a lot more options on aftermarket exhausts like milltek which is currently on my S3 along with body kits / parts ETC.
But yeah, for 56k your better off getting something else :)

The new Hyundai Elantra is the best bang for the buck IMO nowadays in terms of reliability/practical daily driving.

Well it is 10000 dollars more and 0 to 60 4.1 seconds while the S3 is not a slouch at 4.29 seconds I got launch control . So ya 10000 dollars less for an S3 it worth it
