i totally forgot to come be a spectator after watching last years video.. i pulled my v-drive and the boat it goes to from one storage place to another in 2021! see you next year, im going to need to make some friends that know how to put mine back together haha.
When it comes to water fun, it's easy to make friends. Happy New Years. I have a Flatbottom jet sitting in my back yard, it has a 460 powering the Berkley. Be safe out there.
I remember! A New Years day 1970, maybe '71. Lake Pleasant Arizona with the Desert Boat and Ski Club. We used to call it Lake Unpleasant. A very, very cold and windy day. Most people were sitting in their pickup trucks with the motors running. Myself and a lady named Emily Chapple were the only two idiots to go skiing on that day. I was maybe 13 or 14 so I didn't have any sense but my friend Emily was a 36 and over women's competitor. She was a great racer and very dedicated to her sport
A lot of these are super low, flat, and look purpose-built only for speed. So is it weird that my favorite is the much more conservative all-rounder at 20:30 and beyond? Looks plenty nimble, agile, and quick in addition to having a solid top speed, too, without looking like it sacrifices drivability in an ACTUAL boating environment as opposed to perfect glassy conditions.
we had 18 footer which was built in 1957 283 v drive which i put a powerglide in use to pull arms out of sockets when skying when it changed into 2 gear
Don't be ridiculous. Many of these boats burn methanol or E85 (both clean burning) and this happens once a year... Compare that to a dozen prius's driving every day for a year. smh
The boat at 27mins is out of balance, can be fixed by cav plates adjustment, as you see the boat lift and turn, that can be adjusted this guy just doesn't get it.
