It's day 4 of Sick Week and over 70 racers have had to drop out of the competition! If that isn't a testament to how tough these drag and drives are then we don't know what is! For those who remain: it's either been easy peasy or it's been a ride on the struggle bus. Along with those things that you'll see in the video, a racer gets accused of cheating. Fred speaks to him about the situation and how it was resolved. One more day of coverage coming after this video and we'll see who comes out on top!

Imagine complaining about a stock block coyote with stock voodoo heads because your big block is losing.
ive been saying that this the whole time. This man is running times with a coyote of these guys that have custom SM and SMX big block engines that cost 40k to 75k starting plus big tires. How can anyone complain when this mustang can lose his hood like anyone else in his class. People crybaby so much about coyotes. MOD national mustangs couldnt be in the heavyweight class which a hellcat can be in. which dont make sense because a gt500 weight 4100lbs and a caged mustang gt is not that light. but people are scared of coyote because stock sealed coyote just boost and fuel system can make up to 1200whp and s550s have ran 7s and f150s 8s in the 1/4 with the stock ecu and factory trans no heads no cams no pistons no rods no opening the engine unless you want to go built motor which then you can make up to 2000hp on factory block

If they were cool they would be stuck around and let the man talk. Fred wanted nothing to do with him but just listen to drama. The mustang is not part of the boys club and they want him out
All the travel, the knowledge they have, being there at the right time, etc... They're awesome.
Whoever tried to get him kicked out of that class for his front end is slow and eats their corn the long way. The guy is doing what every top racer does, tip toe on the edge of the rules. The baddest NPK cars aren't even built or updated until the rules are dropped for the season. Hes in the clear for me. Hope he continues to dominate the class and win.

I thought the same thing. I was expecting to hear something serious like they trailered the car instead of driving it or something like that. Would love to know who protested them.

Hear, hear! That's what real racers do,, build your hotrod to a class and capitalize on EVERY so called 'gray area' you can,, IF you're smart enough to see them. As others have mentioned, names like Bob Glidden, Grumpy Jenkins, Dandy Dick Landy,, Ronnie Sox and the names go on and on and on of real racers who "BEND" every rule as far as they can get away with. They WIN RACES,, those who can't see those 'gray areas' lose and gripe.
Those of us who watched Dennis and Alex pull that 'lost' 1955 Chev from behind the barn,, give it NEW LIFE and make 6 second laps are so proud of them,, especially Dennis - all due respect to Alex for driving it! They've busted their rears as much as any,, more than many to keep that beast alive, staging and going lap after lap deserve a HUGE HI 5! All the best to the Taylor team to finish with a bunch a 6's to turn in.

That's Benny in the cresta from Australia. Bennys custom works is his UA-cam channel. The car was originally built on another UA-cam called mighty car mods where they imported it from Japan. It was a cut spring lowrider when they bought it in Japan

Man I say it every time, show both boards at the end of the strip! I know you’re more interested in one specific car but the viewers may be curious about what the other lane ran more (much more than a slow ass civic or other random shot you may find cool). No need to zoom in so far to cut out the other board. I don’t remember Fred ever zooming in like that and cutting off the other time.
I also wish they would show both. Two cars running & at the end you only get half the results. Other than that the coverage & editing have been great.

If the hood is separate from the fenders, it's a 2-piece front end period.... There is nothing Gray in this area. It's as plain as the nose on Lady GaGa's face...

I can't hardly believe he chose to run a C6 trans!? I've seen those transmissions absorb 400-500 hp LOSS in a 1500hp combo when it didn't break not sure why he chose it would like to hear why
@@williamstamper442 I'm guessing the guy that builds the C6 is from Alberta too (Frank Merkyl), and that guy knows his way around the C6. He runs a full season behind a 700+ inch BBF backed by....you guessed it a C6.
@@williamstamper442 The reason on the C6 is because the internal rotating mass is 6lbs lighter than a thm400 and with my VB there good for 4000 hp and no 2nd gear sprag to roll to fuck your day!

or one of these custom big block guys that spent 80k on their engine alone and they had issues competing with cutom big block and big tires vs a small radial tire car with a coyote. he not only out ran some of them he out lasted them as well. Cleet said he was pushing his engine to hard. welp the coyote was faster and is running a modern SBF tgat you can technically get from a v8 f150. Hell for what them engines cost you can buy a coyote mustang or f150 add boost and fuel and get either s550 or f150 in the 8s for what a SM engine costs
