I was at top speed in my 25hp tinny when a larger boat overtook me and crossed my bow, I ended up in the air at something like 45 degrees and thought I was going to flip. I can tell you my sphincter tightened so hard I was sore for days.
@@billmastrippolito7132 we beat Madness in NDC heat 3 however he had an engine failure. In king of the River Madness was in front however he then also had an engine failure. In pure speed terms, Madness has 10mph on our boat no question, but ours accelerates to terminal speed in half the time as seen by onboards from ours and Madness over the weekend, so it balances out reasonably well.

The fact that Ford no longer make those engines is a crime. The Barra was taken from us too soon.
The going is pretty rough if you are not in the lead. I imagine they are quite busy in the cockpit with the chop.
