@@thr04w4y It was renewed for 3 seasons by Amazon, but obviously the writers and cast and crew wanted more. But the plan is movies for the final 3 books.

Had to get books.... found out they only covered 6 of the books but theirs 9 book in total. I'm soo traumatized that it got canceled....... I have to read the books to get closure.
Well... you will find many a character missing. TV show Drummer is a mix of 3 characters from the books actually or at least 2. So is Fred Johnson I believe.
Altogether it's a cool novel series but the TV show improved on the books in my opinion. A rare but welcome outcome.

I have seen so many people trying to retroactively justify this thing sticking out like a sore thumb throughout the entire series (otherwise absolutely magnificent).
To accept Naomi's accent as a Belter one (despite no other Belter in the series speaking with it) given Naomi's heavy OPA-based Belt slum past is to accept that there is a station in the Belt where they all talk as if they were at a BBQ somewhere in Peckham or Lewisham 😅
I'm not reader of the novel but Drummer, Amos, and Bobbie are my favorite character development through the tv series

@@MLTAKOS it wasn’t cancelled, the expanse was meant to have six seasons. That’s the plan they had from the start, the ending was just a bit rushed sadly.

Nagata is the rags-to-riches girl who left her neighbourhood and stood behind men in high places to get ahead in life ( first Marco Inaros then Amos Burton and then James Holden ) while Drummer stayed behind despite practically being an OPA princess coz *SPOILER* she's Anderson Dawes last remaining child and still failed to improve the Belter standard of living.
No surprise she ends up relying on Holden at the end.

My two favorites as well. They are both honest and brutally powerful in their own ways. They are also softies and yet would not think twice about shooting you in the back of the head either.
I guess I like the people who know what needs to be done but still are deep down attached to their humanity
