Talisker should never be drunk immediately after opening the bottle. We need to give him time to breathe. Even with a simple Storm, a month passed after the opening and it became completely different.. mineral, marine, interesting..
A great review. The '10' is surely a safe play among Taliskers. I tested it vs. the 'Dark Storm' which costs twice as much and was surprised that the 10 seemed more convincing for the same reasons you told in your video. Please notify me when you test the Forests of the Deep.😉
Thank you! Yeah that 10 is just so much better than a lot of their stuff costing twice what it does. I think I need a few more view on UA-cam to afford a Forests of the Deep bottle 😂 - we can hope one day!
The 10 is certainly a good all-rounder. I haven't tried Bells for years, and to be honest I don't intend to either! Not had the best experience with their stuff. Cheers!
Loving this early whisky journey !. Being a fellow stout lover often we end up with an imp that's been whisky barrel aged , this makes so much sense moving towards a few select whiskies. Buckled up and ready for this trip. 👍
Cheers pal! Glad you're enjoying it! Really enjoying discovering everything whisk(e)y has to offer. I've been a big bourbon fan for a long time but never really pushed beyond the UK supermarket offerings, that's now very much changing! Cheers!
Good review, thanks. I gotta recommend Talisker Wilder Seas if you havent tried it. So juicy. I have yet to try the regular 10 and the Storm variants. Curious about their lineup and special editions though, after enjoying wilder seas
Interesting! Hopefully I'll get the chance, I've spotted it a few times, just not sure I'm ready to commit that much to a bottle I'm not entirely certain I'll like (though I have done it before when it's been something rare). Cheers!
@@TheCrumbyBeard It was on sale at Amazon last week at £45, so keep an eye on if it goes that low again. It certainly isn't work the leap in price over the 10 but adds something different with a very noticeable cognac finish, which makes it sweeter.
@@Francoesque Oh nice! I’ve just been on a mass whisky hunting trip in Scotland so need to hold off on other new bottles for a while but I’ll keep an eye out! Cheers!
Cheers David! You can get loads of miniatures on Master of Malt though they can get quite pricey depending on what you’re after. They often have flash sales though so just sorting them by price can yield a few better value options!
Please
Search after The dark storm and get it, its better then the 3 you had... Its amazing

Thanks for the video . Don't mind the colour , with the ( sadly ) E150 involved .

Thanks for that review. Interesting! 😊
Cheers!
When I visited talisker distillery and we went for a testing they were adding few drops of water and specially storm open up the flavour most
Many do for sure! I try to avoid it for the most part as like to give equal footing to every review but in the future I'll give it a go! Cheers!
Add a couple of drops of water and wahh lah this whiskey sheds its wings lovelly drop
Which one do you prefer with a few drops?

I love Talisker, thanks for the video from Brasil
Thank you! Much appreciated 🥃
Enjoyed the thorough review of these three whiskies. Taster sets. great way to try a new distillery. Wish miniatures were more widely available.

Hahahaha a new convert to the peat
Haha - I'm working my way up slowly. I like it yet it still doesn't completely like me. 😂
Must admit once you get a taste for whisk(e)y, it is a journey. Admittedly an expensive one even compared to craft beer.
Having just returned from Morrison’s who’ve got a raft of offers on right now…I’ll choose not to comment 😂🙈
