I am so grateful for continuing to have these peyton place story and all t he episodes access to all is just fantasticly priceless the real life stories, In early 60's we all loved , and talk ed about it the day after with our working collagues. Nothing changed still love them, all handsome actors, sadly most of them died, in real life, Bettie is 79, Norman Harrington died at the age of 49 with lung cancer. Dr Nielson died at 82 dorothy malone , died in 2018 born 1924. .

I like it very much and I wonder where is the beautifulness, in the actors and actress or in the story or both?

Mia Farrow, was such an insipid, luke warm actress. She was very suited to the role of Allison Mackenzie.

What do you do with your forearms exposed with three quarter length sleeves on a winter coat? Long gloves?

Seeing these again in a whole different light . Great acting . Better acting than dynasty George Anderson looks like Spencer Tracy.

pieter985 It's definitely the 60s. I was eight in in 1964. I remember dressing up to go to the doctor's office and even to go shopping. And the hairstyles are definitely from the 60s.

The early to mid 60's were this way. Even after that, not everyone groovied up. :)

People today think they should model their (real-) lives on those of the soap characters on the screen: if their emotional-lives aren't f***et-up, they're not living.

Felix Carpio Marilyn Monroe would be considered overweight by today’s standards. And history is not that simple, Felix. The ‘60’s were considerably more complex and nuanced than your Cut-n-Paste description. If you had been alive, old enough and mature enough to experience and assess this period and it’s antecedents or studied American History-Civics, as it was called then-I daresay your assessment would have been considerably more complex and nuanced as well.

Azalea...I think Alison is a little immature and jealous as well. I think despite this she is very charming. Mia Farrow was never again as lovely.

Dr. Morton is unethical. Docs aren't to treat family and friends except in an emergency. I agree with you. His wife seems to be ok, but he's a douchebiscuit.

What’s the element of “ waiting” like war girls, wives , family did. Not knowing if their loved one would return. Note ww1 ww2 lasted years and year the strain of at home was great and created social new order of my grandmother, and mother . Yes generations.

Medical ethics step forward, who is owed a patents truth. Note the hippo ratio oath. A underage
Ersons parents yes but not now as to planned parenthood or abortion clinics. Both were not present in this time. A husband of a young wife limited with wife’s permission. That’s the regulations . What takes precedent here fear and trembling. I wish y to note that Betty’s first response was “ I don’t want to marry if he doesn’t love me” her first concern was not herself , she thought past dear even before her father knew. What will professionals do about their oaths.
