I am back in the Family Car Graveyard. The Ole Man and I will attempt to give this 1965 Ford Falcon Life from the Dead. We are trying to beat the flood waters coming over the road. She has been sitting for years! Can she hit the road for the first time in years? Will the stuck wheel stop this revival? Will she kick up dust for the first time in years? All these questions answered on this episode of RevStoration.
Please like, subscribe, hit the bell, and come back for more crazy episodes on RevStoration.
Some have asked how they could send us stuff. If you want to, send it to the love box! (Think of the beeper days!) P.O. Box 143 Porterdale, GA 30070 - Thanks ahead of time!

My high school hot rod was a 69 Fairlane. Love them old Ford's.
Me too Jim... Something about an ole ford.
The old man is SMART. Car pit and boat service in one Stop!
Haha... he thinks in ways that surprises you sometimes.
My mother once had a blue 1965 Falcon 2 door sedan. It was a reliable car which we kept for 14 years.
Sweet ride for sure.
My love for the 289 falcon led me here. Good video. Glad you're saving it
Would love to see a video on that Fairlane!!! I've got a 64 with the 260 as well!!
Daniel, we will get in there one day and see if we can get her to crank..
I bet the ole man was a crazy good ole boy on 4 wheels back in the day gear head smoking tires fixing his hot rods.love to hear his old stories 🙌✌
He has a bunch more that I hope we find a way to share them... Thanks for watching..
Ya'll have a beautiful home there, Rev it remind's me of My Great Grandma's home, right on the Monongahela in WV, It does come up sometimes. As long as it doesn't like 1985 that is fine with me! In 85 it was a bad flood!
We have enjoyed this place and he owns about 7 of the homes on this road... Fun times..
Hooha! that was quite a ride there!
Fun ride for sure.
Rev you and the ol man crack me up with the amount of fun you both have reviving them ol fords back to life and tearing up the road great content thanks for the awesome video yet again and I'd buy any of them from ya if I wasn't so far away and to top it off me and my son are currently reviving his ol ford truck together
Nathan... I do not know if the Ole Man will ever let any of these go.
@@RevStoration oh I totally get it understand fully to much in memories and value to ya both but like I said if I only lived closer heck I'd be there helping in the revivals fun and bringing them home for ya well and get me a few more to enjoy as well 😎
Grommet on the trans shift rod under the car... I used to sell them by the dozen, when i was a parts manager w/a Ford dealer. They get real hard and break apart! Love you all! Thanks for the laughs and the banter... Oh, and the fords...
Thanks Donald... we has it at the pit and investigation will commence.. We will pick up a grommet soon.
I love those old Fords. I used to have a 69 Fairlane with a 351 W Engine and a 3 on the tree.
Sweet ride for sure
@@RevStoration It would lift the front wheels off the ground in 1st and 2nd gear lol .
Not a Ford fan but that is one beautiful car. Hope it gets restored to it's original glory. Great job!
We hope so too
You and the old man are the best that’s a good car and all the cars are cool deuces
Thanks Alfred, we enjoy our time together.
I was looking at that old car in the water, from the top, looks nice...
Glad it is running
Me too..
That looks like a fun car! Very cool! Great job guys!
Thanks Nancy..
Nancy, you know these guys are going to need bandaids soon. Better send them some asap.🤕
@@RobVicPer1 probably a good bet!😂
Fist car I ever drove, 170 six cylinder three speed on the column
Fun ride, I am sure!
You guys crack me up! Love what you are doing. I have three granddaughters, 11, 11 and 12 Years old. We are looking for a 6 cylinder Falcon (63-65), or a 6 Cyl Ford Econoline or Falcon Van. The girls was to learn how to work on cars, and we think we can totally restore a car that they can share in High School. That gives us about three years to doo the work. They want to go simple, and they love Falcons and Cabover vans. Two of the girl have a step grand father who owns a garage, so we have access to lifts etc. But that work can only be done on Sundays. I have a line on a 65 Falcon and a 64 Econoline. Maybe he will sell cheap. I couldn't convince them to go with a 1980 Cordoba. lol.
I look at Facebook marketplace every day, just in case..
You had me at Sharpening a pencil with your hind end! That was hilarious. Still laughing at it!!
He was little tight going down the hill... working the calves and the hindend...
That was FUN!
Love the video!! Nothing like a good ol boy and his dad horsing around in some ol wore out Fords!
Got any comet's hiding back there??
Yep, we have one ole comet right around the corner... Thanks for watching.
That's a perfect car to rebuild the 289 to K code HiPo specs since a K code 65 Falcon is extremely rare
IT could be a sweet ride... Thanks for watching.
Hey Rev would you sell either the falcon or the black Fairlane? Am a die hard ford fan. Had a 63 falcon futura convertible with 289 4 speed miss the heck out of it. Love the channel and content! 👍♥️❤️🥴💥💥💥😎👌
Peter, I appreciate that but the Ole Man in attached to both.. Keep watching and if they hit the market you will know..
5:00 interesting
Thanks
So how much does a vehicle cost down there like that falcon ? Funny thing is we have tons of engines up here and NO rust free or little rust vehicles and you are the opposite ! We should get together and combine our engines with your bodies but I’m not into patina ( rusty look ) but I do like barn fines ! I’d love to get a 1953 Ford V8 flathead 2 door rust free for myself ! Or a 1964 Ford Galaxy 509 2-door , I have a bunch of outboards ( all restored 1922 - 1980 3/4hp to 40hp ) and boats ( 12ft. To 20ft. ) mostly 14’ fishing boats with trailers I’d trade for one of those ! Lol
Awesome Dave, I have noticed that many things change in the different regions... I are happy to have the good engines but the sun kills everything else..
Ford - Fuel, Oil, Rad, Drive...
♫ Oh, I got four wheels & a running board! I'm a Ford! Oh, I'm a Ford! Honk! Honk! Rattle! Rattle! Crash! Beep! Beep!!! ♫
Thanks Carl
Some lucas probably quiten the lifters
Nice car though looks solid
Lucas is snake oil
We will get em freed and cleaned up soon.
Wy were they parked
Looks like the oil is near sludge. Can we see the oil change?
It is sitting in the spot for the oil change.. Thanks for watching!
would be a great video if you'd quit yelling.
That is my normal way of talking.. thank God for the volume button!
Hey go fishing take a swim
Lots of water for it.
The Falcon is a nice looking car, and with the 289 it will scoot.
Tune up, brakes, fuel tank, floor boards and she could be an everyday go getter.
Anchorman from Arkansas
Hey Rev. love your channel. Got somethin for ya to ponder. When’s a door not a door? When it’s ajar.
Haha... Love it... just an opening then..
@@RevStoration your too cool 😎 man.
How highs the water mama?
Well I love Rev. & Nikki T, but the old man's my hero, because he's adventurous & fearless!
Without a doubt... he is one of a kind..
A joke for you: Did you hear about the preacher who is also a dog trainer? He teaches them to heal. 😄
Haha... I love it... Thanks for watching..
Hello my friend pray all is well so do love your Videos Hello REV and Nikki T and your Dad 😁😁😁
Thanks everyone is doing well... God Bless
I don't think I've ever seen one of those old Falcons with anything but a 6-cyl. She's a keeper for sure! Of course, if it was me, I'd jettison that automatic in favor of a 3 or 4 speed manual.
Most certainly would rather it be a manual too..
Another good looking car. You’ve gotta start building or restoring one of these cars. Maybe after or along with Puddin…
We are getting the ones moving that we are going to work on... lining them up and praying for the Dollars to match the plans.
@@RevStoration I get that! $$$$$$
That 57 Fairlane 500 is one fine car .........if I had it I would turn it into a 2 dr model
love those 57s .......also that Falcon is one fine car as is the 64 Gals and 63 and 65 my fave is the 57
I like the 57 as well... We have some work left on it..
I get those worms all over my driveway and sidewalk when it rains hard here. It's been a wet summer.
The ole turtle enjoyed his...
Hi Rev's dad! You REALLY like that '57 Ford, cause you feed her the onions!!!
He likes it most certainly..
My main Man, the Rev! Love your videos!
Thanks Randy
Hi Rev. Hope you are all well. That was fun and the old girl runs well for its age. I think that in the Ole man's heart, there is a boy racer trying to get out ha ha. Another great video. Cheers Chris.
Thanks CHris
Put some seafoam in the crank case 1 OZ per quart of oil and it will loosen up the lifters. Also spray a can of seafoam down the carb then turn it off let it heat soak then fire it up in 20 min.
It works... Thanks for the heads up.
@@RevStorationSleeperdude would probably wrestle you for one or two of those falcons you all own.
Hew rev hope you an your dad are doing great to see yallagain buddy keep praying for me still have not been to court thank you buddy
Thanks Tommy
I love your show. I’ll be glad when you start posting videos again.
Sweet!!! Rev, I about tore off the tip of my thumb today at work on a belt sander and deburring a piece of steel. It got stitched back up, but I may not have a thumbnail anymore. But wanted to ask for prayers. This pain is intense and even prescription pain killers hasn't made it any better. Your videos are helping a little with keeping my mind off the pain. Just asking for some healing and pain relief, even just a little, from the almighty healer. Thank you.
Prayers sent Man!
Ryan we are praying for ya!
Love all the cars just wish I could afford the mustang If you do ever sell it lol
I think a Mustang video is coming soon... Thanks for watching..
Really can't wait to see more of the falcon , awesome car👍
You and me both!
Y’all two are having too much fun. I use to race a 65 just like that.
Just getting after it... Thanks for watching..
Nice 👍
Thanks Hank
Good Seeing You Guys Rev, That Falcon Looks Like A Fun Little Car, The Fairlane’s A Beauty.. Floods Are Concerning, Be Safe There..
Yep water is something that you can not hold back easily... It goes where it wants to.
One of my all time favorites. Glad you got the old girl outta the hole she was stuck down in. Be praying for the family. That ole water can just go on back. Great seeing you and your Dad enjoying yourself so much. Precious memories truly.
Thanks Murray... It crested and headed back into the bank already!
I'm sure glad to see a new video from you and the Ole Man. GOD BLESS...
Thanks Mike.
What year is that gold Galaxy is it for sale? Please let me know.
It is a 64 xl and it is not for sell at the moment. We want to replace the body with one down by the river..
Wow send some water our way we have a drought out here in Northern Nevada. I swear your Dad has more fun driving those cars than you do David. Hey as long as you have fun with what you are doing it doesn't get any better than that.
It seems to come in buckets and then drought...
I like it. I used to have a 62 Falcon. It was a blast. Always a pleasure 👍
Thanks Tim.
Fun little car. Can you imagine if that car had a built 351W in it. It would really scoot. LOL!!! I have never driven a 289 car. A 302 yes but under good authority,my mechanic, he liked the 289 over the 302. But a Weiand Stealth Intake and 4bbl on that 289 and everyone will be smiling.😀
Without a doubt... 4bbl would push it
You got good grease as long as it’s VALVOLINE 👍👍👍.
Before you change the oil and filter put a can of Seafoam in the oil run it for awhile should clean up the lifters and then switch over to 10w40 Valvoline with a Wix filter.
Love these old Ford’s. May you and your ole man have a Blessed One Sir.
Thank you Eddie... She needs a good cleaning, inside and out... fun little ride.
I love 65 Falcons! I have my Grandfather’s 4-door sedan, 170 engine with AC. Unfortunately, it is sitting up on blocks out back. Can’t afford to restore it and really don’t want to let it go, but may have to.
Me too TIm
When I see those Falcons,I think of the ones with that beautiful 2 scoops fiberglass hoods! High performance small block &...!❤😎👍
Fun rides for sure.
Good Lord I love them old Ford’s 😀
Me too Monty.
Pops haven fun like we used to, I’m sure he can tell ya to we use to buy them things for 300 to 500 bucks we used to drive home. I hope them days come back before I take a dirt nap but that probably ain’t likely. Keep doin what ya doin love the videos from the start…
Jim, I remember Mama shaking her head when he pulled up in another one of these... smiling and only a few dollars lighter in the wallet... Harder to find them these day.
Hey Rev instead of getting that Falcon going you may want to build a Arc for all the animals around there before the great flood comes
True story..
I have a perfect grill for that car. Headlight bensels, taillights.
Surely those 19 down likes are just blowback from all the likes. What a fun trip to the swamp with these fellas. And that ol girl with the rear wheel drive she still wants to go. Amazing American vehicles..
Thanks for watching, Colonel! Even the thumbs down is a reaction.
Great family channel. thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Gee, that sure looks like my 65 Mustang dash insert.
Rev, they got a 57 fairlaine at Maple Motors, Hendersonville Tenn. It's sweet. Check it out have fun.
Awesome ride..
Had a 66 or 67 back in the 70’s remember one cold morning and I mean cold like -10 only car would start, then jump the other cars
The ole fords want to run...
Man, them old Fords are bulletproof!
Rattle Rumble and roll...
Well I'll be....
She still has a little life left in her...
Love watching you and "the old man" working together and on any of your cars. Keep up the entertainment and good work.
We have a blast working together..
I would love to see a Falcon and some work on a car. I can get tons and tons of yaking anywhere. Way, way too much blathering and almost zero Falcon IMO.
We do blather a bunch, the falcon didn't talk one time... Deuces..
A good wash and the 57' will be nice and clean 💪
Thanks... good idea.
Hey Rev that don't look too good. I didn't think you guys had a a pond built on the back of the house. Y'all be damn safe and careful man
We are good... it rises and falls... everything is good except the 64 galaxie body..
Hey ole falcon run good Hey Rev why did they send Bud to School too make him Weiser, hope that didn't upset you.
Phil.. the bud joke... that is a winner.
Riverhead reached out to you once before and you had replied unfortunately I was not able to respond in time but I was asking about how do I find your email
RevStoration@gmail.com
looks like you guys were having a ball playing Dukes of Hazzard. love the falcon!!
Fun times for sure.
You know what cuts that string real well? A Case Ford Pocket knife. Lol
I should have had it with me. It is sitting a shelf in my study... a case ford knife is just too sharp. Thanks again brother!
Please give it a good cleaning and tune up 😊
She needs both for sure.
I hope the water receeds and everyone is safe.
If its a old Ford and you and the old man get into it, its gonna run! I don't think there's a old Ford you guys couldn't get going. Loved this video!
We will give em a try for sure.
If three and one is machine oil what is five and one my dad told me that joke I always thought it was funny
Haha love it
Rev, ok, I'm NOT poking fun at your situation with the river, I'm thinking of Johnny Cash's song; 5 foot high and rising..I hope the river stops rising soon Rev...
It has crested and headed back in the banks..
@@RevStoration that's great news!!
Those turtles are always in the road here. They're worse than chickens when it comes to crossing the road.
Why? To get to the other side.
Haha... This one was slow because he was helping his friend cross too...
Got the 68 falcon running praise God, and thanks for the encouragement.
Awesome... Glad you got it going..
Hello Rev it’s so good to see you.
Thanks Jimmy... Good to see you too.
Howdy Rev... Making some progress in my forward momentum... From Sunday to just shy of lunch time today...I've walked a total of 126 feet... Just need to work on some balance to do stairs by Monday...
Praise God... you are moving... onward good sir.
The 65 is flying high! Hey Rev and Ole Man, having fun watching you have fun! The Falcon needs a little TLC, but she is looking good. Great seeing you. Big Al.
Thanks for watching Big Al. We have been busy lately, hope all is well with you.
Probably the most badass Ford from way back. The Falcon Futura.
I am still on the lookout for the 63.5 Falcon Futura or sprint.
Im watching where your working on your grandpa's 65 ford galaxy and seen a Chevy caprice.. Do you want to sell it?
The Ole Man may let it go.. Email me @ revstoration@gmail.com
Ok will do
Rev why did the nurse take a red pen to work? In case she had to draw blood..👍🏼
Haha... I love it...
I'm not a ford guy but sure do enjoy watching your videos. Duces
Thanks Dale
Falcons are my favorite well galaxies or my favorite falcons are my second favorite
I like em all if they say FORD
Rev , I thought you bout shit your self when he hit the brakes on the first ride 😂
They grabbed or it grabbed and I wasn't expecting it for sure.. There was already a smell in the car.. so I was good.
And the other pyramid replied back saying she’s wrapped a little tight lol
Haha... love it.. the joke continues..
Why dont mummies take vacation? they are afraid to relax and unwind.
I may use that one too
Love the 65 ford falcon its as old as I am runs good I also like the body style of the falcon its a square body best car ever made thanks for sharing this video of the falcon its a cool ride with the v8 289
