Naha, I agree. This bag is stunning, but damn. That price! 🥵 Appreciate you showing a full, realistic loadout-whether it's travel of EDC, always helps gauge what can actually fit in a bag as opposed to "templated" loadouts other channels do. Great video, John! Quickly becoming my go-to famous UA-camr when it comes to new bag content.
@@BiggDeli price point definitely on the higher end but I can honestly say that it looks, feels and carries like an expensive bag vs paying for something expensive and it looks like a $20 knock off lol. And hell yeah brother I’m over 400 subs 💅🏽. Appreciate you always supporting the videos 🤝

@@tob357 friend, thank you so much for the kind words and the encouragement! I really appreciate that. GORUCKS coming soon, especially since I’m up to 5 now 🤦🏽♂️. I had an older Evade 1.5 and a Chio-X but gone now. What other AON you recommend?
Great review, as always. Wish the Goruck M23 had some of these features- specifically the quick access lid pocket and buckles sewn so that they don't fall down when opening. Also really appreciate you letting us know the weight of your usual EDC and how it carries with that amount of weight!
If they were to adopt a few things from here to the M23, that would be amazing. Curious what GR has planned for the M24/M25. Or if there will even be one 😬

Thank you for the follow up video. This was great to see how it works in real life. At some point in the future, could you do a video on how the waxed canvas patinas and how you re-wax it?
@@UnPackD I just got in on the CTactical Waxed Canvas CT21. This will be my first waxed canvas bag for every day use, so I'm also wondering what I'm in for. And, every time I see the Banoch Pro, I start thinking how much I like it. But I think it's too big for my EDC needs. But man it looks great and all the improvements they made over the original are things that I appreciate. I may pull the trigger on it one day.
@@notme123123 this is my first wax canvas bag too! So definitely learning experience from both how the material feels and handles plus how to care for it.
Awesome review, once again. I really like the "likes" and "dislikes"--definitely makes it feel more honest and genuine. Yeah, hopefully Trakke takes the height-adjustable sternum strap beyond the Muir III, especially for a 35L Storr, as you mentioned in another review. Interesting comments about the "dip"--or the stingray or batmobile look--at the end. Maybe that's part of what makes it seem less "professional" to me. Luxurious and beautifully made? Absolutely. But it's a ruck style with a busy front of buckle and straps and . . . wings at the top. For some reason, for me me "professional" = "minimalist," and it doesn't feel like a minimalist pack. Beautiful and high end, but not that. (Of course, there's probably tons of office packs that aren't minimalist.) If the pack were comfortable for me and had that height-adjustable sternum strap, I'd be tempted to pick one up. Best Bannoch Pro review(s) yet--well done.
For fit and comfort, I’m going Rehose Buddy all the way especially if I’m traveling or having to wear the bag extended periods of time. In a EDC situation I’ll go Bannoch Pro but I also have never had a Buddy 22L. I had a shot at one recently but price was a bit rich for my taste. Very different bag in almost all aspects but I’ve never had a bag fit me as well as the Rehose.
@@sinthur5435 I think it does a good job because when I open it I get a big whifff of my ripe bananas lol. Don’t smell them when closed. My lunch is in a spill proof container so nothing from that for sure. Overall really happy with, especially it doesn’t leak (as long as it’s upright)so no condensation penetrates through to my backpack.
Without the laptop it’s actually super comfortable, the laptop sleeve is padded in the front and back so it provides good cushioning. Definitely better without a laptop

@@KarlHeindel you have to keep in mind every one’s carry situation is not like yours and not everyone works in a typical cubicle or office. I do know my EDC is not typical, most people don’t need a 27L bag. Absolutely love the aesthetic of this bag. I just wish it had the MW-style expansion of the Rambler so I could use it for my groceries bag too.

Great review with a lot of detail. In addition to the sternum strap I wish Trakke had included a luggage passthrough for use with a roller bag.
