- 12 Large Shrimp (the bigger the better)
- Half Coil of Sausage cut into 1/2 inch rounds
- 4 skewers
- 2-3 Tbs Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves minced garlic

- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 2 Cloves finely minced garlic
- Cajun rub to taste

Oh man! Your singing my tune Jabin! The shrimp and andouille skewers looked incredible! Love that bit of char on grilled shrimp. So much flavor!
The Louisiana in me is saying to make some shrimp & andouille sausage jambalaya as a side dish also. Lol. I’ll gladly try it this weekend! Easy on the Cajun seasoning, most of them have a high salt content. A little goes a long way.

Made this for our pre Mardi Gras Sunday family dinner tonight. Had to scale it up some. 15/20 shrimp worked perfect. Andouille was the sausage of choice. The family loved it.
Very simple but looks fantastic. Great recipe!!! Love the roll your eyes back good... those are the ones i'm looking for when we go camping.

Mmmm grilled shrimp and sausage. Id normally use local fresh caught prawns for this since the ocean is only a few minutes away but couldn’t get them in short notice. These may have been from Argentina ?? Haha

Accidentally ran across this video today, had the stuff, made it……… will DEFINITELY make again! Used Tony Sacherie’s cajan seasoning.
Those look amazing. One way I have done them is using a scallop instead on the sausage.
Grilled corn, jambalaya, or crawdad pie would be good along with this. Anybody don't like the shrimp can leave more for me.
I made these back around Thanksgiving. They were just ok but I made two mistakes that I just learned from you. I didnt marinate my shrimp and I didnt make that butter for dipping. I will next time however.

Once these were cooked and you dipped those shrimp and sausage in the butter sauce, It was too much! I had to have me some of those! I’m even going to start considering a purchase of one of the SNS grills! I recently bought a pellet grill and I love it! But I do want a different way of grilling!
Yeah, the skewers themselves were great but when dipped in that butter sauce it was incredible! I have a couple pellet grills and love them but the kettle grill is my fav. Did you cook cooked shrimp? Not sure. Never mentioned. If you cook cooked shrimp then it would be very overcooked. Details are important.

I sorry but the way you u peeled the shrimp tells me lost your Cajun card for sure. At least you could use a Real Cajun seasoning. As soon as their post I out sorry but you can't just throw spice on something and call it Cajun.
