Woman seriously injured after wedging car underneath semi truck

#CHULAVISTA (San Diego) - July 3, 2020
* A woman rear-ended a semi truck at high speeds and wedged her sedan under the rear of the trailer
* The woman was trapped with her arm stuck in the steering wheel
* Firefighters were able to extricate the woman and transported her to UCSD hospital via Medic 418
* A SIG Alert was issued for 1 hour at 3:30 AM
* Traffic slowly started moving again at 3:43 AM with the far-right lane closed and the offramp shut down
* All main lanes were re-opened at 4:16 AM
* The woman suffered serious injuries according to CHP
