Im a full on roadie. Or at least i was until i went mtb'ing with a friend of mine recently. Im was hooked. Since then i have been riding regularly on my old hardtail. (And waching your channel). now Im looking for a good begginner bike. You alredy did a beginner bike vid but im more in the search for a bike in the range of 1000-2000$ so that would make for a nice vid
Although the sicknick table has a smaller drop, it's got a 75% sketchier run up that keeps it right on par with the black diamond rating of berm creek! Can't wait to see and ride the next addition :D
You have inspired me. I have 4 acres of woods on my property that are soon going to be a multiple skill level trail. My son is 8, so I don't want to make it too crazy, but we are going to upgrade as his skill level increases.
Hey seth a while ago my dad got me a mountain bike I wasn't really into it, but he showed me your channel then it all changed, every weekend I'd beg my dad to go mountain biking and every day after school I work on my bike and raise money to buy extra parts. Just wanted to say thanks, and to please keep making your vids there awesome
As a budding carpenter your doing a great job ...one tip for you seal or treat your wood or its going to have a short shelf life there in the open elements ...Happy trails to you!
Seth you have did such an amazing job bro from last May to this April has been such a change and transformation this year the new berm and drop sicknicktableI can't wait to see what you do next year to berm Creek and this summer... at 28 years old I rode BMX my whole childhood I've just recently in the last month went out and purchased a brand new pro 2015 Sunday and now I'm looking at my first full suspension MTB thank you so much for being such a wonderful inspiration it is also off my actually comment but I feel like you are pushing the limit to get new and old riders on a bike !
Vegan mods plant based . I completely agree with your observations. I am 62 years old this year and my wife who is 54 are avid riders who continue honing and pushing our skills due to the inspiration and motivation both Seth and Alexander impart.
vegan mods 31 years of age here. And was a 20 inch BMX dirt jumper the better majority of my life. But I've always had a passion 4 Ridin sketchy Trails down a steep incline something about the rough ride the adrenaline rush of knowing any second you could be ass over teakettle with a broken collarbone just keeps it so exciting. Anyways after finding Seth and single track sampler channels it inspired me to get back in the saddle and go balls to the wall. The way I see it if I'm going to hell it might as well be sideways
These are the videos that make me continue watching you and Alex! Everything you both do I hope to accomplish one day, I have followed your videos for a few years now and absolutely love mountain biking! The entire life style is totally addicting! Not to be a total fan boy, but you guys rock! Inspiration comes from every video, thanks for being creative and enthusiastic!
Seth, you've done a super job keeping the interest in your channel alive since breaking your wrist. Your creativity is limitless. Fortunately I have a great trail system only 10 minutes from home but building your own is an option for those less fortunate. Berm Creek looks like a lot of fun. Plus I'd love to sit down and have a beer at the "Sicknic Table".
It is so cool how this is a mountain biking channel and we are seing you how you build picnic tables. Having freedom of what you are posting on your channel is amazing.
You’re lucky to have the wife you have! And Alex is lucky to have you as a friend! You’re a great craftsman, bike rider and friend! Must be a good husband too lol.... I can’t wait to see what you do for Alex!
FYI Been watching for quite some time! HUGE inspiration to shred around my local trails. (Alberta, Canada) Can't wait for mountains to open.. Still pretty slushy here.
I've been building some trails out beside where I work after I get off every day and man is it rewarding! We've finished 6 different features that are so fun to session with my coworkers!
That last shot where it pans up and shows the mountains where you live looks amazing. You've got it all on your doorstep, looks incredible! (fan from the UK)
Smaller berms have another advantage - they're fun for riders of all levels. Big berms are intimidating for new riders, you can't ride them slowly without slipping down to the bottom and when you try to put your inside foot down there's nothing but air.
Hey Seth, brand new subscriber here. I'm an amateur but I LOVE riding and I've learned so much from binge watching your vids! Your content is so great - love your travel vlogs, how-to's, everything! Thanks and keep it up! - Canadian female rider.
Seth, can you adopt me so i can ride there all the time? Don't let the fact that I'm 40 years old dissuade you. Oh, and I'm completely potty trained, so things should work out great. 😎
These are some of my favorite videos! I love the improvements too. I think some more wooden features are always a good idea. Can’t wait to see what’s next! Awesome video as always, thanks so much for sharing!
In your 20’s after building a trail all day... Shred it, pizza then beer. In your 30’s after building a trail all day... Nap, gluten free pizza, and one glass of wine with the wife.
Hey Seth! Good to see you up and running! I also have a question, I have a vintage schwinn mountain bike and it's covered in rust, how do i get it off without damaging the paint? Have a good day
Steel wool works well, in my opinion. as far as hard to reach places go, Use Citric or Acetic acids tend to work well, If you can submerge the part or area in question in it.
Awesome video, Thanks for all the work you do to bild, film, edit and share. Its a moment of rest and inspiration after a ruff day for me. I really enjoy and look forward to a new video. Thanks again! Greetings from Belgium!
Yep it’s not what people think it’s what u ride, how much u enjoy it and if u can do it Always room for improvement I CANT BELIEVE HOW MUCH BIKES YOU HAVE!🤣whish I had one 😫😂
Simply WOW congratulations! Now you have to build out the mtb wing of your house for Alex, Bobo, Brian, and all the visitors that you’ll receive! Congrats again!
Hey Seth!, here is my story! I was about 17 miles away from my house and my tube went flat. Fortunately, I was able to find a pump to air up and see how far I could get before she went flat again. (The flat was very small, so i had about 30 minutes of ride time) Anyways the problem with the pump was, it was Schrader and I have Presta valves. So in a pinch, I found a cool hack! If you take the protection cap off of your valve and cut the top off with your knife, you can screw the cap back on and it creates a bigger seal so you can adapt a Schrader to a presta! it was very useful and got me more than halfway back to my house before i had to call for some backup! I hope you can show this in one of your hack videos! BTW my name is Seth too!!
RandomTwiggster Lol. grass eating sheep? Moles who only like straight lines? Picnic table raiding wasps? Road cyclists? Tron? Guys who can't grow beards? People with a concrete yard? Seth's flower loving wife?

Nuclear Icecream yeah if you have air holes in your helmet like me you can use some zip ties and slip your phone in the front, atleast that’s what I do. You can also get dirt cheap GoPros on eBay or gumtree second hand that work just as good as brand new.
Hey Seth! I've been watching your videos for a long time and I have to say that they are so happy and very amazing to watch!! I always take your hack with me in my adventures!!!! Greetings from a great fan from Brazil!
Me and my friend started building a bike trail in my backyard this really wants me to start adding more sick jumps and ramps keep up the good work Seth👍
Ive been building a backyard trail under very similar circumstances and you have just gave me more fire in my quest. Thanks man love your channel if your even in central CT and u want to ride some trails i got quite a few for ya!!!
bro, i ride dh bike 4 days a week at my local ski area...we are always shouting some random saying as we roll through the woods...lately i have been yelling "sicknick table" right before every jump! we have a ball on our bikes and you have officially added to the fun! thanks for the great content!
awesome!!! just awesome... i can only imagine the joy of ride knowing you build it with your own hands!!! looking forward for the van build. As i said to Alex i wish i could help you building her!

Now I wanna build one in my backyard. I think a few drops and a picnic table. Great trail!!! Will keep on watching for the next episode of" building with SETH... "
Great and inspiring work on the trail! Haven't read through all of the comments, but just in case it wasn't mentioned, next time you're putting concrete in a hole try putting the water in first. The first time I tried it (because I actually read the directions for once) I couldn't believe how much easier it was to mix...
This video is super good! I've just started following you , Alex and Brian a few weeks ago. You guys all have excellent channels that I really love watching! I'm currently building out my truck to live in and I can't wait to see how Alex's van turns out. Hope we can ride together one day. Keep it up!
Awesome video Seth! I think a really cool upgrade would be a north shore skinny or another wooden feature on the rock garden giving another entrance to the trails. It would also be cool to make a proper run up/landing for the sicknick table. Either way I think more wooded features anywhere would be awesome
What a life you guys lead.... ok, I'm officially jealous... in a good way, because ya'll are inspiring. Keep it up, there's always something I take away from these vids that keeps my determin going.
I love it! Keep doing what you love. Trail work is hard, hard hard! I grew up on a farm and building MTB singletrack is every bit as hard as the work I used to do there. I have 6 acres and I've nearly completed my loop after two years. I've gotten no help at all, for some reason I can't get anyone to sling a rake or a hoe, but they all will ride my trails? Funny how that works huh? A couple tips: I noticed your rubber boots. Those blasted things will burn you up. Get some muck boots, they are easier on and off and much cooler. Best tools I've found are made by the Rogue company. Their rakes, hoes and pulaskis are second to none.
Looks awesome!! For the first drop, the chicken line should conatin some rocks, not just a single easy line. Add some rock to the clim so you can make it at least a little more technical. Cheers!
Love the north shore theme you got goin on. Rock garden alternative next to drama jump? Maybe pumpy bridge line over switchback area? The possibilities are limitless 😁keep going man👍🏼
really glad I sponsored this thing and gave you full creative freedom, you come up with some amazing stuff, seth! keep diggin!
For all who didn’t know, Panda funded the sicknick table (without even knowing it would be a sicknick table)
yeah, already wondering how much to throw at you next time.. what would you do with $500?
I love how dogs just stand around and watch us work as if to say
"Hmm my human has alot of energy today"

The Singletrack Sampler you nailed it, LFRHGS
You should try the airbag at Berm Peak it looks fun
Such a fun little place to shred. Keep on building!
come on brian! hit the drop haha!

Give him a break, he's scared to get his tires off the ground on that $8000 full suspension bike.
Put out more videos
Tell Seth to make jumps and rocky sections
You have inspired me. I have 4 acres of woods on my property that are soon going to be a multiple skill level trail. My son is 8, so I don't want to make it too crazy, but we are going to upgrade as his skill level increases.

I wish I had room In my yard to build something like this
SaiNinja I know the pain. My back yard is a forest... But confined to a small 8x24 foot space.
Build a few smaller portable jumps, like Seth did a while back
Peyton Cox nothing at all will fit. Its too small to ride a bike at all.
i wish i was allowed to build a trail
Me to 😥
It's amazing how much fun can bring your creativity to this place. Congratulations from Colombia 🇨🇴, we enjoy your work from here.

Dear Mr. Alvo,
I'm a humble cyclist living in chennai, India, where wearing helmets for cycling is "funny". I don't think so. The practice of cycling isn't much appreciated here. I have a budget performance hardtail, specifically a Cosmic El Dorado 21 speed bicycle with dual disc brakes. The thing is, I've been thinking about starting a cycling vlog, so searched for a GoPro, but it was waaaay more than my budget. Another thing is, people here tend to be mischievous in an annoying way, so there's a 50/50 chance that somebody might mess with my action camera. On my previous cycle, someone tampered with my derailleur. So can I mount my phone on my helmet? Anyways, I'm just a 9th grader who has an idea. I want cycles to gain the same attention as motorcycles.
