A little roller would help you get that extra speed with some more pump! Mellow up, sharp down,not too far before the gap kicker. Make it like a really short pump track
Multiple lines, wider for the gap but original snakepit can lead to a wallride next to the driveway jump which is perfect because of the retaining wall

Do another one of those bike park reviews, miss them, something fresh on the channel that you havent done in a while and gives you a nice fun day to relax from the trail building
absolutely love what you've done so far & admittedly jealous of what you've been able to do with your land; it's simply awesome. I know you will continue to add more "flow" & jumps. But to this point, a lot has been huck/jump type stuff (which is of course superfun), so how about some handling-skills type features? Like an ultra-tight-tree switchback zone, a real "techie" climb, a gnarly-ass "rock-garden-from-hell" zone (that even trying to navigate through at 2 mph could result in a broken bone or taco'd wheel...you definitely have enough rocks available), or a multi-height on-end post balance feature (or easier yet, an elevated log traverse). While not as fast as the flow trail stuff, or have the cool factor of the speed/air jumps...that stuff is raw, pure bike handling & to do them takes more skills than just having balls. Obviously the majority of your trail is going to be like what you've built, which is amazingly sweet...I'm just recommending adding some non-speed technical-riding challenges in there, too. Even the Maim frame (which does have a technical element) needs proper speed & huck-factor to do it. I'm talking a feature that requires serious bike handling & control. ...just a recommendation, buddy - absolutely nothing against what you've done so far. Just an idea to really bring in ALL elements of the sport. Keep up the great work & thanks for bringing us on your journeys/challenges! :D
Something I noticed is that you type out the captions for the video rather than just have them auto-generated, and that's just another thing that makes me appreciate your awesomeness even more!
I got an idea for you. Make the jump so it has a detachable lip, so you can add a lot of air/distance while still hiding it from the yard. And, when the lip is not on it still works like it does now you just can't clear the driveway as easy.

I can't believe I'm binge watching all these videos. I just got myself a bike.. I'm very new to mountain biking. Or cycling in general. I'm looking for something adventurous and this definitely is a good start for me and my family. Keep the videos coming lol.
Is it? That's the reasoning? Not to mention I know of loads of wood features a similar build that didn't even make it that long because they were constantly exposed to moisture; or even got something like termites in them. Both things petrification provides loads of resistance to.

You should make an option on the skinny that lets skip it but in stead you speed and you make a big jump at the log so your better setup for the drive way gap. Love your videos btw

I know you cant build in the yard but what if you built step up onto the roof and a drop on the other side down into moonshangle to continue the jump line there bc its kinda short right now Lemme know what you think And maybe colab with backyard trail bulds again for this project
You realize that that's a 30+ foot vertical gap, followed by a 30+ foot drop, all over a roof that will take major damage from tyres riding over it at speed. Right?
@@chucko4415 Not at all if you look at where air bag ends the roof is only 13-15 feet from the ground. With the jump in place only like 7 or 8 feet. Same with the drop. About the roof getting messed up there are easy ways to protect it it from tires

I have never done serious mountain bikimg in my life. I live in Sedona AZ and up the street i live on is a bike shop. But these videos are some of best stuff I've ever seen on youtube.
