Those entry level Giants sometimes come with stupid head tubes and you are stuck with the stock fork. I don't see what is wrong with a 3X setup. I still have a 3x8 on my "vintage" 26" Giant Upland. I updated the stem to a shortie and larger 31.8mm oversize bars and Odi Rogue grips. Then I replaced the original derailluers with newer units. I bought a comfy Serfas seat with cromoly rails too. I also added a chain guard that someone 3d printed off Amazon. I'm glad you posted this video because sometimes helping people really sucks. When you work on a stranger's car, bike, computer, etc, you can run into unforeseen problems that really suck the wind out of your sails.
Can we get a video on you testing inexpensive front shocks from Amazon? Would love to see what the actual quality is of some of those budget friendly alternatives.

He's already working on that design
Signed
SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY
He said he's making one
Seth in every video: "So, we're doing something kinda different... *moves to side angle* ... but really the same"
Yes, it's always the same, but kinda different.
Amazing, man! That was one the most impressive acts of kindness I have ever seen! You are blessed!

Its gonna get crashed, and for me thats a huge win :)
I just got about 7 notifications for UA-cam, and this was the first one I watched as Seth is my favourite UA-camr
me too
you spelled favorite wrong but I will agree that this channel is one of the best
Dylan McIntire favourite is the british spelling
Dylan McIntire I’m from Australia so that’s how will spell it, but Thanks anyway
@@heathv8558 i was just poking fun, if anything the American spelling is the incorrect one.
When I saw him hold up the new fork I was immediately like NOPE. 😂 Not gonna fit.
Matteo Cristini wasn’t he working on a low end diamondback axis like a month ago?
"we got you a different one", you can see the kids face light up as soon as seth says that
Legend has it that Seth dropped his sponsorship from slime so he could be sponsored by Googon
Can we get a video on you testing inexpensive front shocks from Amazon? Would love to see what the actual quality is of some of those budget friendly alternatives.
No good deed goes unnoticed! Very lucky kid and he will remember you and that bike forever. 👍
Dude i would love to have A guy like Seth somewhere near me, he is such a good soul
Hey Seth, could you please link to the fork?? I'm building a budget mtb so it would be really helpful, thanks
Btw great vid
Agreed, curious what fork that is.
AGREED
agreed
it's marketed as 'balony'
@@rosellegowan5450 it's bolany....here in my country that fork is the most popular one
Wish I knew someone like Seth when I was a kid!
PNW components are the bomb, in my opinion. My bars, grips, dropper, and dropper lever are all PNW and they’ve really exceeded my expectations for the last 6 months that I’ve been running em! 👌
