have only recently discovered your amazingness... and just have to say, aside from the gorgeous work/patterns.. your attitude.. (and that giggle hehe) is a bright spot in my day!
I have to say that after reviewing at least 3 other star blanket videos, yours by far is the easiest! The granny is always the easiest stitch by far. Thank you so much!
Been wanting try this patten but never been able too follow patten and your patten is the best can't wait strat it tomorrow. Even got smilir yarn but using rainbow baby
You are soooooooo talented and humble, and I admire the fact that you teach and are NOT sponsored... !!! Why!?!?!? I thank your free public service. I would love to see a picture of your little darling family one day. Blessings to you and your dear ones! 😍
I really like how you don't go 80 mph making it impossible to follow!! Thanks for that!! 😀 I'm self taught because I can't transpose the pattern I need to see it being done., if I'm going to use specific patterns! You make it so easy thank you thank you thank you!,!
Love your tutorials! You explain in such a gentle easy way. I appreciate that because I’m back to crocheting after a long hiatus. Going to do the granny star. I’m a huge granny lover like you. Look forward to making more of your blankets❤️
Hi Fiber Spider! I am going to make this afghan in the latte cakes for my grandchildren, for Christmas. It is soft as a kitten. Thank you again for sharing!
It's finished! Thank you again for the tutorial. I took my time, replayed sections, and made notes. After an initial misstep creating the second lot of four points, which I frogged and started over, it went beautifully. I used two and a half colour-changing cakes using a 4.00 hook to make a good-sized baby blanket. Because I made sure to keep the big holes aligned and to maintain the same tension throughout, the blanket lay flat. It is a marvellous first project and greatly increased my confidence to tackle something a little more challenging. 😃😃😃
Thanks so much for modelling how to crochet this stunning star blanet. I really enjoyed listening to your commentary and following the instructions to make this gorgeous blanket. Awesome!!
I absolutely adore you and your tutorials. I am making this into a baby blanket for my cousin who is due in September. I throughly enjoy ALL your videos and "catching up" with you. Peace and Love to you 💙🧡💜❤🧶
Your snowflake tutorial turned out so beautifully as coaster, your granny star blanket tutorial turned out perfectly as plate mats to match the coasters. You & your tutorials are beautiful.
I just found this pattern and although I can read patterns this had me wanting to pull my hair out. Thank you for making it easy and stopping me from throwing gasoline and a match on it. You are fantastic or watch and listen to.
Hi fibre. Spider I.know this is an older video. But I had to. Tell you I made lots.of them and gave to charity so well received all thanks to you.. 😊😊😊
Hi you are the best teacher on you tube❤ I am starting this blanket immediately.. I have made so many bedslippers that you showed us. Thank you for your patience and good tutorial 💕
I'm crocheting sling with you, and I got to ta a-dah! At the same time!!! This is going to be so cool! Thank you for going slow enough so that we can keep up!
It’s definitely not yammering love , I enjoy you talking with us! I know this is a video from a while ago but I’m just watching it! Being new to crochet and all I’m still catching up on things!
Just started crochet and i like to challenge myself the way you explain it is so easy to follow i just started at this star blanked thank you for explaining and the lovely star
Thank you!! I tried a couple other patterns and tutorials for this and just didn’t get it. I frogged my blankets over and over. Finally following this I got it! Didn’t realize round 5,6, and 7 were a repeat
Clear and helpful as always.......Love Fibre Spider, spent a whole day trying to work out somebody else's version of this pattern yesterday.....unpicked twice and threw away after the third rippled attempt!
Just discovered your tutorial. I love it! The granny stitch is my favourite stitch by far. Since I was looking for a star blanket this is perfect! Thank you for the easy to follow tutorial. I enjoyed it very much!
I too love the granny stitch! I only chained one between clusters on round 7 where you make the decrease. So far it's turning out great. Thanks for all you do❣
I should have known that if someone had a granny star blanket pattern, it would be you! It looks great, and I’m very much looking forward to trying this out!
I love how you explain crochet. I am a huge fan of your tutorials, and I can't wait to try this one. I am hoping you will make a tutorial on the beautiful Braided Cowl that everyone is so crazy about. LOL just because you explain the process so much better than others do LOL .
@@lelayancy713 You do 2 rows without any skips and then do a row where you skip the center open space. Just keep repeating those 3 rows remembering to only skip the center space every 3rd row.
I have had this on my wishlist playlist for a while and I'm so excited to finally be doing it for a friend of mine as a holiday gift blanket. Doing it as a stash Buster and her favorite colors pink purple and blue. Love ALL your vids, deff need to check out the Audiobooks cuz your voice is Soooo soothing
I’m a fairly recent subscriber and may I say first…I adore you! Your patterns are so easy to follow and you are just so pleasant to listen to. 68 year old grandma just found the pattern I’m going to make for my granddaughter…I think she will love this “star” . 😊
I absolutely love Granny Stitch and wanted to do a Star. You are so easy to follow and I can understand you very well. Much love and have an amazing day. 💛💚💙💜
This is the perfect pattern to make this fall and winter for my stash busting. Cannot wait to start this one, thank you for your creative mind and the granny stitch.
This is the perfect pattern for what I needed now. My Hospice group wants blankets using red, white, and blue yarn. I was going to make the star pattern you made a video of but this one works up quicker. The pattern you provided is in UK crochet terms so her DC is a SC in US crochet terms. She did two rows of SC for a border which would be more solid than a DC border, but I agree with you that it really looks OK without a border. Thanks for another great video and Happy Thanksgiving. I would rather have snow any day than the ice storm we got here in Virginia that broke trees and caused 77% of our area to lose power that will take several days to get restored. Thankfully we were two miles away from the power outage area.
I have 4 star patterns and all have a weird part (for me, that is) and haven’t finished any of them. I hate frogging my projects. ☹️ I wouldn’t believe it if I didn’t watch you start this project. Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! Thank you so much! Super simple and accurate! 🎊 I can’t wait to start and finish a granny star!
This is my go to pattern for gifts. It’s simple and works up fast. I made a Queen Sized and now, a baby blanket for my cousin, who’s having a baby shower very soon. Love this pattern. ❤️
Well Thank you for the granny star. I have made 4 full size ones . I LOVE this pattern .Also liked all your granny tutorials .I watch them all but love the granny also.
Love the video! The directions are so easy to follow and you go through the whole process. Thanks a bunch my first try on this pattern looks awesome😀😀 thanks to you.
2 months later I finished lol,,,,came out so beautiful and this yarn is so soft,,,,hubby claimed it lol,,,looks like I'll be starting another one this weekend for me, stocked up on latte cakes before they stopped selling them at Michael's. Thsnk you for sharing this,,,you made it so easy to follow!!🤗👍💖
Thank you for these easy to follow directions! I am using Caron Big Cakes for this. Ever since I learned how to crochet the free standing double crochet, I like to use that at the beginning of a new round instead of the chain 3. I was so delighted to discover the free standing double crochet, and it's quite simple to do.
This is great I just bought a lot of the latte cakes they were on clearance at Michael's so I went a bit crazy lol. I'm going to get started on this,,,thank you so much!!!🤗
Thank you your patten is brilliant ace thank you just done baby blanket with your patten looks ace thank you took sven days do thank you. Just starting another one thank you
Great video. I think it would be great for my niece for Christmas. I think I'll use stitch markers to help remember where the valleys are. Love the colors in that striping yarn. Thank you!
Hi FiberSpider, Thanks a bunch for this beautiful pattern. My niece will love this afghan. It fits with her fairy theme. Thank you so much for sharing this with us. You're the best. Blessings to you and yours. Kathy B. (Fairylady0227) 💜
I'm using Caron Cakes in Pistachio color & it's turning out amazing. With the long change of colors in between it appears to give it more definition. I also started making another one using Sweet Rolls. I've decided on these 2 I will not be chaining 1 between the clusters as it doesn't leave a big gapping hole & it seems to make a more definite point which I prefer. Totally love it & thanks for another great tutorial.
I love your sample the colours are lovely, I'm making a blanket using Bernat super value big stripes in the colour Berry Bunch, thank for your tutorials, Have a great day
This was my first time working with you. I needed a different style. And this is for my autistic grandson as a sensory blanket. And its Oct 10th 2021. This will be a Christmas gift for him. Who taught you to crochet? All others I need to slow the video down. But not for you. I love that you go as fast as me. Lol. I got ahead of you and had to wait for you. Teasing. But you are very good at it. And I did make that dreaded fogging. But I was able to fix it. Now I'm on row 8. And I repeat round 5 again.
I am also obsessed with the granny stitch and it is my very favorite too. Love your channel and thanks for the easy to follow tutorials. Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Thankyou for this tutorial! Love the latte cakes, will have to dig out a UFO and try this instead :) in the meantime, using some stranded gradient cotton (changes one thread at a time stuff) and going to make a beautiful tablecloth with this pattern :)

BraV0! Or do I need to say Brava!?
At row 7, do you do 2 regular rows then decrease 2 rows?
Thanks
I just love how you can crochet and teach all at the same time. I am a beginner and loving also the granny stitch. Love the colors you work with also.
Thanks so much for modelling how to crochet this stunning star blanet. I really enjoyed listening to your commentary and following the instructions to make this gorgeous blanket. Awesome!!

Could I as you a question?
After round 7, after the points do you put a cluster in each valley or skip every other valley?
