- This has by far became my favorite, all around saw. I've landed this saw can do most of the work from small to medium trees around here. I ported intake\exhaust and went little bigger on carb jet. To add to that, a hollowed muffler.
I didn't think this little saw would be much but after my bigger saw got stolen I had to finish a job with this and a 14 inch bar. It was a gruelling process and much to small.
After porting I could barely bog it down unless I really stood on it. So, I found a bar and chain combo with the right gauge and pitch off an old Stihl. It surprises me that it's able to keep high rpms with that big bar.
How did you port it cause I have a cs-310 and ordered an 18 inch bar for it and would like to be able use it with it
Did you put a timing wheel on it at all after porting? Remember the numbers?
I silicide for the delayed response due to health issues.
No I didn't need to. I could to get a little more rpm\power under load but I'm perfectly fine with the way it is. It still runs like what you see in the video today.
👍👍
Do you sell port jobs for this?
I have the same saw. Could you go to a 20in bar?
It's a 30cc saw!
That is a 20in bar. Matched it with a Stihl bar and chain. Gauge and pitch was right so I swapped it after tuning it.
You must have some very soft wood if it handles a 20 inch bar comfortably!
That was elm
"Here's my saw. Works really good." "SQUIRREL!" lol jk jk Dang! that little saw is a Beast!🦾
I know. Sissy interrupting my video LMAO
