Okay, I watched like hundreds of videos about mixed voice but yours got the closest to it by that Elmo impression. :) I also very like the excercises. Thank you very much! I have a question also if you don't mind! I am cool with singin in mixed voice on higher notes but around my break it's soooo unstable. Can you recommend something to fix this issue or what I am doing wrong? Thank you and keep up! You made a great video!
Hey there! Thanks for the feedback and kind words. I would need to hear you in order to detect what's going on in your break areas. You can book a lesson here: www.amplifyvocalstudio.com/privatecoaching
Thank you for the exercises! I have a question. I've been doing these kind of exercises for a long time and it's going great, but I have no idea how to actually implement them into songs (without making the nasal/childish sound). Do you have any tips on going from exercise to singing voice? :)
Yes. Transition to "Nuh-Nuh" or "Muh-Muh" after doing the "Nae-Nae". The "uh" normalizes the sound a bit (removes the brassy edge) by requiring you drop the jaw (the mouth is now in a vertical position which adds roundness). From there, keep the same vertical mouth position and insert your lyrics. Great question. I'll do a video on this, so you can see it demonstrated. Be sure to subscribe so you are notified when it's available.
@@amplifyvocalstudio6963 Can I keep the Nae Nae structure if I like the way my voice sounds - more brassy? :) Is it damaging to the voice in any way? Tnx
Sure! If you like the brassiness, go for it. It will not cause damage because the sound is being projected by the pharyngeal resonance, not by adding weight directly to the vocal cords which can cause damage.
Once I did this excersize the neighbours next door asked me if there was a monkey whos getting raped at my place. No matter what these exercises are extremely helpful. Thnx so much 👍 and keep it up 👍
