In this episode, Sara walks us through a quick demo of making a 2 ply yarn. She shows how to start by placing the singles on a leader, then goes over tension and how to make sure your twist is good before winding on.

Very useful, thank you. My issue is to maintain a steady treadling while plying. I wish I had an e-spinner. Did you do a video on the woolly winder? I keep hearing about it but have no idea what it is or what it does.

My advise on keeping a rhythm while treadling is to count or use a metronome. There are free apps available for metronomes. Use the tempo to find the pace you need for the amount of twist you are going for. Then keep it up!
I have not done a review video of a Woolee Winder. I’d be happy to do it.

I have a terrible time playing from a center pull ball or a Turkish spindle ball. Do you have a video on how to do that?
