Says a lot that the 90's version of this actually had a better design overall (the mould was smaller so you didn't get that extra waste all around the body, and the hinge was metal so opening and closing it was easier). It also came with weapon accessories and two terminator figures so you could stage actual battles. Man such nostalgia!

I used to have a toy just like this back in the 90's, except it was X-Men themed and you poured in Wolverine's adamantium skeleton.
I used to have one back then as well but it was also Terminator themed.
@Gabriel Roberts Google "Weapon X lab playset" it was a clear 2 piece plastic mold that looked like Wolverine on the outside, and had a skeleton shape on the inside, so when you poured the liquid through the hole in the top of his head, it filled out the skeleton form and you'd crack open Wolverine to reveal his skeleton inside.

Good tip, though.
The cyberskin powder is just flesh coloured dental alginate. In fact, Alginoplast (fast set) has exactly the same colour. It won't hold up very well and will shrink into white crumble after a few days, also it does a splendid job at staining clothes and couches when in liquid form.
It becomes about 20 times more awesome by NOT using the included figurine....also results in more imaginative possibilities - is this a mad scientist's laboratory? Or maybe the future of cosmetic surgeries?

Reminds me of this amazing Robocop Cryostasis toy thing I had as a kid in the early 90s. It was basically a way of freezing your figures, then using motorized toy drills and lights to piss about with a chunk of ice, drenching your mum and dads dining table and warping the wood. Ah, good times.
I remember some jurassic park toy where you put some plastic fossils in a mold and pour some sort of clay on it. Then you could excavate the fossils with a tiny spatula.

I remember my grandmother buy me this toy when I was youngit was so cool you got to put flash on a robot skeleton and then pretend to have a fight and pieces of his flesh get blown and turn off in your imagination of course but the flash really did come off the metal skeleton it was a pretty advanced cool toy for the early-mid 90s
I remember they released this same toy for Terminator II, it was just as bad then as it is now. Hilarious that they keep regurgitating these movies they regurgitate the toys also!
At the beginning Ashens said that many adult movies had toys made of them, which made me think that there MUST have been some saw toys, you know where you get to be jigsaw and you can manually control traps and snap dolls apart, get other toys from different sets and use it on them etc...

The bio-flesh that went with the original terminator toy in the 90's actually used a type of dental alginate product to make the 'bio-flesh' typically was a light green colour but I suppose they dyed it pink for the toy. As such if you had the right connections you could ask your dentist for some and really get arrested.
Are you going to try making terminator chocolates with that? It could be next years valentine's day episode.
