Which side would you have enlisted in? STOP would involve some Police Academy-esque japes, SCUM would involve biting the head off a Chap Mei action figure.
I really like the background for that STOP vs SCUM line, a little mad max, a little GI Joe, cool bad guy designs with a cool evil punk chick that looks like she's from Street of Rage or something... Shame about the quality because I find them genuinely compelling on paper.
the grenade looks like a cup. "Hey Jim, is that a grenade?", "no, just a war prize. found out it was a dud the hard way. so i made it into a pitcher. But it does serve a good cup of tea!"
"How can there be cities if civilization's collapsed?" Answer: Ruins that people are still inhabiting. "How can you profit in a collapsed society?" Answer: Food. Water. Shelter.
i love this videos. I don't really mind that they are this long. Honestly, it just means more opportunities to end up laughing out loud like a crazy person xD
The motorcycle in the first sets engine was actually kinda detailed. They had the cylinder and everything, and the engine is air-cooled. And its also an adventure/offroad-bike which makes sense for army people to ride.
That first set is a Chap Mei knock off. Chap Mei toys were sold in cheapo shops, but were really well made and detailed. A lot of their figures and sets are really expensive now. Most of the Poundland 3.75 inch figures now stocked are badly made and painted Chap Mei Knock offs.
"how to get to victory, mmm wich is allways usefull in a war situation" ahahahahaaha "anyway, he can see into the people's souls, so what does he cares?" ahahahahaha that made my day !!
I remember Action Force figures well, they were heavily advertised in comics like "The Eagle". That gun on the first STOP V SCUM figure appears to be modelled of an Aliens Pulse rifle, I'm wondering if its a recast of an Aliens figure.
As a big GI Joe fan I was very amused by this. I've seen those generic soldier toys too. They're the same type we have here in American dollar stores. S.T.O.P. vs S.C.U.M is actually kind of a cool idea and at first looks like they were trying to create something interesting. At least until you got the toys open XD
The crappy little guns that come with these dollar store army figures are pretty accurate looking and while they dont fit in the hands of the figures they actually come with, you can use them with better figures of whoever happens to be your favorite anime waifu. (I go out and buy tons of these packages of plastic garbage just for the guns for my Homura figure)
Hello from America. Hey Ashens i caught one of your videos awhile back and i enjoy your reviews and comedy. Your a funny guy and i am glad i subscribed to your channel. I don't even know if you read the comments, which is understable because there must be thousands of comments to go through, but anyway i'm not sure if you want to make shirts that advertise your Channel. I was wondering if you could make sad onion shirts. I know i'd want one. Have a good day and keep them coming. I definitely like the chef excellence skits those are hilarious.
Twas Action Man when I was a kid. Gripping hands, 'realistic' hair and articulated joints. Pretty damned cool. The manufacturer was Palitoy which was a division of Hasbro. They were twelve inches of plastic fun (OO-ER missus!)
Honestly that first thing was probably the best thing funtastic has ever made. I could spend a whole day playing with that if I was younger it's just filled with so much shit.
Don't split up the vids, I LOVE watching them. Hell, you did a 29 minute one on the iPad (I think it was the iPad) and ended up doing three of them. They're awesome because you always know how to make them funny. Don't split them up into smaller bits.
The founders of Kajukenbo were Sijo ("founder") Adriano Emperado, Peter Young Yil Choo, Joe Holck, Frank Ordonez, and George Chang (sometimes mistakenly referred to as Clarence Chang) who called themselves the Black Belt Society. The founders of Kajukenbo wanted to develop an art that would "make them invincible in the most difficult streets of Hawaii".
Wow, I remember the old Action Man (they still made them a few years ago - I have an occasional guilty look at the toy section in Argos.. Can't wait to have kids to buy toys "for them"), quite big figures, about 8 inches tall? I also had the "old" Action Force figures and the "New" Action Force (G.I. Joe was a mystery) - I often wondered if the two were somehow related being the same height, but the older ones with a more UK style - the eternal gun pose, fatigues etc. Loved the little rifles.
Moral of the the story. You get what you pay for. Early to mid 80's GI-JOE figures (the smaller ones) were the greatest figures created. (Original Star Wars figures in a very close second). The vehicles and fortresses were well made. Innovation of elbow, knee, wrist and ankle joints. I remember finding the always sold out and so hard to find "Snake Eyes", and Shadowstorm(The cobra ninja clad in all white, the best figure, imo), in a small store in upstate NY . Great video Ashens!!
That was not a random crank, but the stand for the motorcycle.... That was bad Ashens. Luckily my frustration was suppressed by the lovely sound of the ocean.
Don't worry about splitting up the videos, I love them as long as they are. They seem to go far faster than the time written below, in fact! Testament to your ability to hold an audience.
We have these exact sets at the TRU I work at. Actually, alot of the cheap plastic stuff you have reviewed we have package design and all. There is a section of TRU for toys $1-$5.
In Australia, we had Action Man AND GI Joe. Action Man were bigger figures, and seemed to be more spy based, he looked inspired by the Pierce Brosnan bond
Same as the UK, sort of. We had Action Man, who was the original big GI Joe figures (ours were mostly army, though), and then we had the smaller Action Force figures, which were a more European-centric flavour of the American GI Joe: All American Heroes line. Some were American figures rebooted as British characters, some were completely original, like the SAS line
The random crank is a kickstand for the motorcycle :) But its tat, so I dont blame you for not being sure. At least thats how it looked to me. You keep up the quality amazingly. Keep giving us more! :D
This has to be the most funniest video I've seen yet by Ashens. As soon as the figures started falling apart, I just couldn't help but laugh. :D They are so poorly rendered that I almost feel bad for the child that has to play with them.
I am so glad they specified that STOP vs SCUM was fictious on the packaging, I very nearly tried to enlist.
Enlist in what?
Which side would you have enlisted in? STOP would involve some Police Academy-esque japes, SCUM would involve biting the head off a Chap Mei action figure.
I really like the background for that STOP vs SCUM line, a little mad max, a little GI Joe, cool bad guy designs with a cool evil punk chick that looks like she's from Street of Rage or something... Shame about the quality because I find them genuinely compelling on paper.
Andromedax01 Although the Patriot figure was a copy of an Aliens marine with his pulse rifle...
Idk why but I laughed so hard at " fake German shepherd to hide their contraband in"
'Are you sitting uncomfortably?'
I'm literally hanging half off of a sofa with my iPad on the floor.
That's what I do!! I thought I was weird.
Jackson Jacoy One of us... One of us... one of us...
Freaks.
the grenade looks like a cup. "Hey Jim, is that a grenade?", "no, just a war prize. found out it was a dud the hard way. so i made it into a pitcher. But it does serve a good cup of tea!"
brilliant ^_^
When I saw that second figure, all I could think of was;
"It's game over, man! Game over!"
For no discernable reason.
Rip Bill Paxton
13:57 That's a (very slightly modified) M41a! The pulse rifle from Aliens!
is that a nerf gun ?
@@ashenvendetta7083it's the gun from aliens....like he said.
"I shall name them Gruff, Gruff 2, and Mr. Plibby" Oh man! That's hilarious
"Welcome to 2011" *ages like i just looked in the ark of the covenant*
"How can there be cities if civilization's collapsed?" Answer: Ruins that people are still inhabiting.
"How can you profit in a collapsed society?" Answer: Food. Water. Shelter.
Ashens must not have played Fallout.
That dog must be the one from the thing that splits in half.
Thank you Mr. Ashens for making me spit on my monitor when you dismembered the poor grunt with the oddly painted balaclava.
i love this videos. I don't really mind that they are this long. Honestly, it just means more opportunities to end up laughing out loud like a crazy person xD
Are you still alive? What has changed since you commented 13yrs ago
The motorcycle in the first sets engine was actually kinda detailed. They had the cylinder and everything, and the engine is air-cooled. And its also an adventure/offroad-bike which makes sense for army people to ride.
KLX!
You know, for just a pound that first set is really great for the accessories alone. Pretty good deal.
'Action Man, the Greatest hero of them all!'
I just love how ashens mutilates the figures without even trying to do so XD
"how to get to victory, mmm wich is allways usefull in a war situation" ahahahahaaha "anyway, he can see into the people's souls, so what does he cares?" ahahahahaha that made my day !!
All these years later and the sloth member skit still gets me.
😅 2011 was so long ago 😢
I remember Action Force figures well, they were heavily advertised in comics like "The Eagle".
That gun on the first STOP V SCUM figure appears to be modelled of an Aliens Pulse rifle, I'm wondering if its a recast of an Aliens figure.
I just about died when I saw the leg come off the figure. Ashens, you are the dealer of DEATH.
My dad bought those for me and it was fun to play with those! If had 4 boxes of those and lots of army toys.
Wait, Action Man is G.I. Joe? Mind, blown!
That flag. Is that, like, if Iran really had a thing for helicopters?
Lmao! When the "Meet the Team" part came on I cracked up!
I like the longer videos, its like watching an episode of a tv show except its more entertaining than anything actually on tv.
Weeb
@@ovizcarra8667 Although the original comment contained that as a joke, I agree. Weebish oppressors! Our animation is worth it as well!
'Patriot's gun looks like the pulse rifle from Aliens!
It is

The videos of you doing cheap figures makes my day. Every day. :)
I really, really like the long length of the videos, makes me happy and know that I'm in for a nice long treat
the dog made me bust out laughing XD
I remember Action Man, those where the days...
"It looks like he tried to swallow an inkwell and came off badly." Haha!
I love it when you go in-depth about bad toys.
Hello from America. Hey Ashens i caught one of your videos awhile back and i enjoy your reviews and comedy.

It feels weird watching this ten years later.

I like the long videos! saves me time having to click onto your next video :)
They're not DOLLS, they're ACTION FIGURES! God, Ashens!
... oh, she's collapsed! Oh well..
Sooooo Lady Lead is also Anita Sarkeesian?! *equipped with flame shield*
and brain damage!
Bmoore1255 I thought she already had brain damage.
I'm not seeing the flameshield. What you mean?
'Hey you guys, chocolate, baby rooth' haha classic goonies line :')
I'm at work and can't watch your video yet but I already know it will be awesome. Keep up the great work.
"A deep rooted hatred of all men"
So Lady Lead frequents Tumblr then?
Underrated comment
Ah tumblr. Such a wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Yeah, you wasted your money.
You wasted ur time
No, not really, no.
read the description you nobbin
And you waste your time cause you watch reaction videos BlastphamousHD. Fuck off.
Easy V Nie Uh what? I just looked at my box and saw that someone posted a comment on a 63 week old comment. Are you sure you aren't wasting your time?
You never fail to make me giggle like an idiot with your magnificent reviews, good Doctor! Bravo!
That dog is a new breed !
Twas Action Man when I was a kid. Gripping hands, 'realistic' hair and articulated joints. Pretty damned cool. The manufacturer was Palitoy which was a division of Hasbro. They were twelve inches of plastic fun (OO-ER missus!)
I get super excited when i see your really long videos in my sub box.
Where did you come from, where did you go? Where did you come from GI-JOE
i felt that second dog look into my soul
Whenever you mentioned S.C.U.M, I couldn't help but think of the Jeremy Kyle Show skit from Dead Ringers
Honestly that first thing was probably the best thing funtastic has ever made. I could spend a whole day playing with that if I was younger it's just filled with so much shit.
I was hoping you'd make a diorama out of all the figures on your coffee table or something, to demonstrate all their abilities on the battlefield :(
Don't split up the vids, I LOVE watching them. Hell, you did a 29 minute one on the iPad (I think it was the iPad) and ended up doing three of them. They're awesome because you always know how to make them funny. Don't split them up into smaller bits.
Dont cut the videos down. We love long ashens videos!
The eyes of the dog had me in stitches!
That was the most amusing dog with giant eyes I have ever seen.
That victory sign at 5:30 is really cheeky.
"Would you kindly point to the 'road to victory'?"
*Grumble*

I've seen those S.T.O.P. figures and they do look cheap in person. And I hurt my side laughing when the figure's arm came off!
I had a few of those CORPS figures as a kid, they blended right in with my older cousins GI Joes.
...Like a dog in headlights... CRUNCH!
I almost pissed myself from laughter
Haha, when Ashens tried to make "Lady Lead" stand up at 16:50 - Made me laugh SO much. :P
ashens, ur videos bring happiness to everybody who watches. thanks for ur reviews/comedy.
I was laughing like i was high man i forget how funny you are lol
I really like the MP5 set from the second package, Also, the STOP guy's gun is ripped from Aliens!
huh... patriot has been issued an M41-A pulse rifle from aliens. to victory with him!
that black soldier is KAWAIIIII!!! XD

Epic! Got something to watch before I leave home!
Patriot is clearly a Colonial Marine from Aliens, he even has a Pulse Rifle!
wow your cobra impersonation was almost spot on
Action Man the greatest hero of them all!!
Suddenly remembered that advert from my childhood..
The last guy has a pulse rifle from aliens
Moral of the the story. You get what you pay for. Early to mid 80's GI-JOE figures (the smaller ones) were the greatest figures created. (Original Star Wars figures in a very close second). The vehicles and fortresses were well made. Innovation of elbow, knee, wrist and ankle joints.

That was not a random crank, but the stand for the motorcycle.... That was bad Ashens.

The gun Patriot carries looks like a heavily modified M41A pulse rifle from Aliens

HOW MANY FIGURES MUST YOU MUTILATE BEFORE YOU SATISFY THE WANTS OF THE WIDE-EYED, EVIL JACKAL!
Couldn't stop laughing each time a figure lost a limb.
So I've seen the S.T.O.P. figurines at the Dollar Tree here in the states. I was delighted to recognize them.
the autofocus on the dog's eyes had me laughing for a good 3 minutes
Patriot is packing a pulse rifle. Good man.
This has to be the most funniest video I've seen yet by Ashens. As soon as the figures started falling apart, I just couldn't help but laugh. :D They are so poorly rendered that I almost feel bad for the child that has to play with them.
Woot! Ashens videos lighten my day.
