Odd and funny story. I owned that terminator toy and for many years i did not know that skin popped off. I think i may have broke the arm mechanism so the skin never came off. Years later after i dropped the toy down a flight of stares it looked to me that it broke. When i got down in investigated i saw that the skin was meant to come off. I was quite pleased to discover this. It was like having a whole new two.

I distinctly remember there being a Robocop toy range that had firing caps in them.
That was the 1988 Ultra Police line.
It was the vehicles in the robocop toylines that got me hooked on robocop toys.
Imagine getting a wonder woman figure and it told you it came with her invisible plane.

I'm actually 11 and I saw it. Mainly because of robots, the interest of every 5 year-old.
Flick The movie has adult and gory content, without it. It is a PG-13 movie. The first time I saw it was in 1995 I was five years old. So yeah I grew up with Terminator.

I miss the 80's and 90's when we still could have awesome action movies for the adults, with toys for the kids and the kids also watching those movies. Hell i saw the terminator 2 back then on VHS and my mother recorded robocop when it was on tv. And we watched movies you needed to be 16+ for :)
I had all the robo cop toys shown here. The figure at 6:32 is from Robocop 3 I believe. This particular figure came with a gun hand that replaced his normal left hand and it also came with a jet pack. This explains what the sound is when you press his chest. It's suppose to be the sound of his jetpack taking off.

Funny enough, I do remember them having a set for the terminator 2 action figures where you took the exoskeleton and put it in a chamber with flesh-colored gel and made your own terminators, weird stuff but it looked pretty cool when it came out.

Slight correction: That Robocop mold is entirely different than the one from Ultra Police. The one from Ultra Police had no elbow or knee articulation, and had the cap-firing mechanism.

You got Robocop completely wrong: that toy was specifically produced for the tv show of '94, there were no toys for the movie in 1987, and the first Robocop toys were the Robocop and the Ultra police released by Kenne to tie in to the animated series.

The RoboCop figure with the sound came with the jetpack from RoboCop 3 its a jet sound I used to have one of these and that's how it sounded.

The first robocop figure, I believe, was made by the company toy island, and nowadays, it is an extremely expensive and it seems quite rare figure 7 years after this video was made.

Ngl I had those batman and bane figures and loved the crap outta them as a kid. I had the regular one, golden one, greenish one a gray and blue capeless one and I played with them so much. I even bought the vehicles as well ((a covered bike, three wheeled car and tank that all turned into planes) and lived them too. I really wanna dig them all out now for the nostalgia
