Some of those DVDs are genuinely brilliant. Phantasm? Puppet Master? Hellraiser? That's not bad for a pound, really! In fact I'd almost say it's outright good. Phantasm is one of my favorite horror films ever (but I won't say that's an assurance of quality in any way).
The funniest thing is that he showed the puppet master dvd there and he's STILL not got around to watching it.
The length of this video is how much he spent on those items.

Pontypool and Black Christmas (directed by the late Bob Clark - director of A Christmas Story) are both Canadian movies, Stuart. And they're both pretty damned great.
I remember my dad fell asleep watching Black Christmas when I was 8 or 9 and all I can recall seeing is booby.

Luckily for me, they screened the live action thing at a crappy local sort of comic convention I went to all the way back in 2008, so I could see how rubbish it was before I decided to spend money on it.
(and in doing so they also actually managed to spoil a ton of stuff to a painfully oblivious audience.)

Just to let everyone know. Pontypool is actually a really good movie, (It's on Netflix) It sounds stupid but it's actually quite a breath of fresh air from the normal zombie films. I highly recommend watching it.

I actually saw that "Sparky's Big Adventure" thing once when it came out in 2006. It's a Michael Schelp movie. Schelp is best known for ripping off big-budget animated movies with direct-to-dvd knockoffs. For example, he made a movie called "An Ant's Life" to compete with "A Bug's Life".
Anyway, the Sparky's Big Adventure DVD is part of his series of Cars ripoffs (yes, there are more than one), and if i remember correctly, it tries to teach kids about peer pressure and why they shouldn't talk to strangers. I think i remember a pretty weird moment where one of the characters is literally murdered on-screen after being lured into a car-compactor and having his/her wheels removed or something like that. Pretty harsh way to try to teach kids, but the movie is a piece of shit anyway.
Oh, also, the way it tries to teach about peer pressure involves an adolescent car persuading a younger car to "trick his ride" (a car-themed euphemism for getting piercings), so he gets like 14 different hood ornaments and decals and whatnot.
***** I hope you have fun, XD. Keep in mind that my memory is a bit fuzzy and i might be exaggerating, but i contacted a friend who also saw the movie and says he remembers the same scenes. Also, i just remembered some part involving one of the antagonist vehicles smashing the protagonist's friend repeatedly while they are in an infamous area called "the badlands", well, that makes two onscreen murders in one kids' movie.
You just opened the Door to my childhood! An ants life, Sparky's big adventure, the Weird pig movie (charlottes web knockoff) where a bunch of snakes try to convince the main character to go into a meat processing factory, For some reason that really got to me as a kid...

The weirdest thing happened to me when i was younger on halloween i bought some chips/crisps, I guess, from the store and when i opened the little halloween bag of potato goodness it contained loads of burnt and live ants but the box was fully sealed and the package.

Amy Rose Actually, the Death Note that was there was the live-action movie version, which apparently isn't that good. I watched it once, can't remember anything about it. I do, however, like the anime/manga.
