Just got my HW550 Samsung Soundbar and I've been trying to pair soundbar to the woofer for hours. The blue light never stops flashing even after I get the ID SET. Whatever I press on the remote, nothing works. BTW, the screen sometimes flickers and becomes unreadable.
A short update on my previous comment:
I had to return the soundbar as obviously it was faulty. Got the other one (same model) and got it connected within 5 minutes. So guys, if you have issues like I had with my previous soundbar, feel free to return it to the seller. It should get connected easily and if doesn't, then it's faulty.
I have the same one and I’m having problems now.
@@samperedojr9383 me too! This crap is going to the bin and will be replaced by a much better sounding pair of satelite 2-way speakers powered by a $160 amp that is not much bigger than 3 Samsung Galaxy S22 smart phones stacked on top of each other

-Turn off soundbar (yes, off)
-Hold button on back of subwoofer for 5 seconds
-Hold mute button on remote pointing at sound bar for 5-10 seconds
- Sound bar will turn on and immediately say “ID SET”

It didn't work on me
I can't get the ID set turn on. I press it 5sec or 10sec and more than but still not working . Pls help
i press the subwoofer button on remote, i see SW on screen of power bar. but nothing I press increases output , setting stays at 0.

I want to find out, I have a Samsung Ms751soundbar now I'm wondering if this soundbar is compatible with any of the Samsung subwoofer
I have Hisesnse HS212F the subwoofer can't connect, it keeps on saying 3.6 can you help ?
Can you dismantle a soundbar and still use the parts. So if I took it apart could I connect my phone to the Bluetooth and still use the speakers?????

It's not working at all
I bought it this week. However, there is something that strange to me:
1) When connecting the optical cable to the TV, the sound is not as loud as it is when it is with Bluetooth. Can you tell me if this is correct? Is there anything I can do to fix it?
2) When I'm watching a movie, sometimes the sound stops (only for a few seconds) and returns to normal. However, this happens several times and randomly. There aren't any devices around that can harm the Bluetooth connection. Could you tell me how I can fix this?
Try updating the firmware on your soundbar. Also try using HDMI as the connection source instead of the optical connection. Check to see if your TV output HDMI-ARC. Most new soundbars require HDMI-ARC to connect. Hopes this helps.

Have you perform an firmware update to the sound bar? That may help stop the unlink.

You can download the firmware onto a USB device, and then upload it to your soundbar. If your soundbar has SmarThings app on it you can update it that way.

How to connect it without remote
Can you connect two to a single sound bar ?
Only one subwoofer can be connected to the sound bar.
Which H DMI should I use cause I guess I'm having issues with mine
Perfrom a firmware update and use the HDMI ARC.
Can you try connecting another Bluetooth subwoofer if you can I wonder if it works
The subwoofer is not capable of hooking up 2 subwoofers at the same time. I have try this myself. That being said, Im crossing my fingers that Samsung will add dual subs capability to future release Sound bars. Thx

My blue light is still flashing after I get ID set. The only time it stops blinking is when the paper clip is in the ID set
Can you have more than 1 woofer per doing bar? Help
You can only have 1 subwoofer link to the Soundbar at once. I myself have try linking 2 subs to get more bass out of it but was not able to. The soundbar does not have the capability for this.
Only 1 subwoofer can be link to the sound bar. Hopefully Samsung will release future sound bar that will allow 2 subs to be link at once to the sound bar.

even after id set blue light keep blinking non-stop.
If the blue light stop blinking that means the subwoofer is connected to the soundbar.
My light is blue but no sound comes out of the subwoofer :/ any help?
