Thank you after 3 years of owning my Samsung soundbar with no Bluetooth connection I finally found a way to reset the sound bar and connect the Bluetooth and it worked. Amazing knowledge
Oh wow, that's awesome to hear! Isn't it great when things finally work out? 😄 I'm super glad the video helped you get your Bluetooth connection going after all this time.
I cannot thank you enough. I've been close to tears trying to get sound again. Your step-by-step instructions and your calm demeanor helped me immensely.😊
Paired an older K450 soundbar to a new purchase 2024 QLED 55 inch Samsung TV.Seemed to be ok but only defaulting to BT mode and temporarily "dropping out" .Had a quick search and found this video. The K450 resets by turning off and then holding down the + and - volume on the bar itself to get the INT and then OK message. Then starts up with the HELLO message and factory defaults in place.Paired up straight away to the TV in TV Connect mode like it did with the 'old' Samsung TV,and all seems good again, just reset the audio and subwoofer settings to my liking. Thanks for the pointers of the reset methods, hopefully if anyone is still using the K450 bar then just do what I did, with your help.Cheers again!
The last one involving the volume buttons on the bar itself works well. A Samsung rep I talked to walked me through it and it worked great. Solved the issues immediately. That's the step I recommend.
Hey, that's awesome to hear! It's always great when a quick fix like that solves the problem. Thanks for sharing the tip about the volume buttons; it'll probably help others who are having issues too.
Just wanted to say thank you so much for this video the Switching on then holding volume up and down together worked perfectly on my Samsung Q700A thanks again
You are superb and I would say a god sent for me. Badly wanted to listen to songs and the Sound bar won’t work. For a while felt like it has gone bad and may have to just throw it away. But here came your video and saved the day. Tx a ton man. God bless!
Hey thanks much this helped reset my Samsung Sound-bar after I had got it locked onto “BT READY” mode which it kept switching outta D IN mode to that on its own. If anyone else is experiencing the same issues I own the sound-bar model ***Samsung - 2.1-Channel Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer and Dolby Audio/DTS Virtual:X (2020) - Black*** I used the Power On then held down the 2 Volume Buttons on the sound-bar simultaneously till it went into “DEMO MODE” which music began playing an I then powered the sound-bar off using the remote then powered it back on using the remote which the sound-bar had then been fixed - so happy now!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉😊😊
Oh, glad the video helped a bit! If you're still on the hunt for how to pair your device, usually holding down the Bluetooth button on the soundbar for a few seconds gets it into pairing mode. Then just find it on your device's Bluetooth settings.
You are a Life sayer bro😂 I have been planning to throw away my sound bar, your video same me, the + and - Bolton reset my system thank you very much ❤
I have the hw-k551 version. The play/pause button option worked, Thank you. This sound bar always disconnects from sub, very annoying. Samsung help desk could not "help" 🙄, they routed me to a repair centre 👎.

Oh, I totally get you! Resetting can be such a pain, right? 😅 But hey, at least it's gonna be all fresh and ready to go. If you need help setting those levels again, just holler. Lol
Thankyou for the tutorial. I have an old Samsung HW-F450 that I got for free a long time ago. I rarely use it because the volume fluctuating up and down is very annoying. I disconnect the soundbar's cable that goes to the board controlling volume/power buttons on the side. My model had to be fully disassembled. Disconnecting the cable from the buttons didn't work right away either. I restarted the soundbar, holded the play/pause button 10 seconds and didn't help, mine doesn't show any reset information either. I holded the square "STOP" button for 10 seconds as recomended in the manual, restarted it and now the volume doesn't fluctuate anymore. Hopefully it will hold over time, these soundbars volume problems are a misthery going on since many years.
Sounds like you've been through a lot with that HW-F450! Glad the "STOP" button trick worked out. It's wild how these volume issues keep popping up. Thanks for sharing your experience, might help others too!
@@hifiaudios8101I don’t understeand how this problem is so popular with different Samsung soundbars since a decade but they didn’t find a solution yet. It’s really strange. Thanks, I’ll give this a try. Somehow my Bluetooth soundbar disconnects / needs to be manually paired again with the tv again after i put my TV off to go to bed and wake up the next day. Sometimes it works perfectly for a few days in a row.. but eventually will always disconnect sometimes even after being off one night / a few hours.. hope this fixes it 🥹
Fingers crossed that the reset helps! Bluetooth can be a bit finicky sometimes. If it keeps disconnecting, try checking for any software updates for your soundbar and TV. Sometimes, keeping them closer to each other can help too. Let me know how it goes!

Hopefully the hardreset you showed us will be enough tho, Ty again.
Hey! For the Samsung HW-J7500, you can try holding down the 'Stop' button on the soundbar for about 10 seconds. This should reset it to factory settings.
Absolutely, if the bass is too high on your Q6B-Series, you can usually adjust it in the sound settings menu. Look for 'Bass Level' and turn it down a bit. Hope that helps! 🎧
hm, not sure if the reset will fix static noise in the rear speaker. 🤔 it's worth a try tho! if it dont work, might be a connection issue or the speaker itself. good luck, hope it gets fixed soon!
@hifiaudios8101 I tried everything to solve the issue, but no luck. I ended up calling Samsung customer service for help. They asked if the soundbars software was up to date, which I've tried updating it through smart things, but it wasn't letting me update for some odd reason, and I don't own a computer and flash drive to manually update it, so instead they decided to ship out a replacement speaker which could take between 15-20 business days to arrive.
Both HDMI and WiFi have their pros and cons. HDMI usually offers better sound quality and lower latency, but if you're finding the WiFi connection to be louder and that works for you, go for it! It really comes down to personal preference and your specific setup. 👍
factory reset usually reverts the settings back to what they were when the device left the factory, but it typically won't erase firmware updates. Firmware is a deeper level of system software, and updates are usually permanent unless the manufacturer provides a way to downgrade. So, you should be fine to reset without losing any updates!
I can get soundbar to factory reset but can’t get sub and surround speaker to link up. When I reset it takes all setting at soundbar back to zero but it turns off but doesn’t turn back on how long should this take just incase I’m turning it on before it can do it. 😢
After you reset the soundbar, it might take a minute or two before you can turn it back on. Make sure you give it some time. For linking the sub and surround speakers, try pairing them again from scratch once everything’s back on. If that doesn’t work, maybe a quick call to Samsung support could clear things up.
@@hifiaudios8101 thanks, I did get it eventually but nothing like the manual said. I had to turn off sound bar hold the button which looks like the cog wheel as soon as I saw the ID come up I then press power on side and it all paired up. So maybe if anyone else ever has issue they could try this. But thx anyway.
It sounds like it might be going into demo mode instead of resetting. Maybe try holding the buttons for a bit longer, like 10 seconds, or check the manual to see if there’s another combo for the reset.
Yes, I can help you with that! To turn off the Auto power link feature on your soundbar, go to the settings menu and look for the power options. From there, you should be able to disable the automatic power-on feature.
Can this help my soundbar being out of sync? I’ve tried messing with the sync settings and it still doesn’t fix my issue. My TV seems to be ahead of my sound bar.
The third method works for me and the sound bar turned off, but I don’t know how long it’s supposed to be off before it turns back on again automatically?
Absolutely, this reset procedure should work regardless of the controller you're using, as long as it's compatible with your Samsung soundbar. Just make sure to follow the steps carefully.
"Hey there! Bummer that your soundbar isn't turning on even after replacing the power supply. You might want to double-check the power cable and outlet to make sure they're working. If they're fine, it's possible the soundbar itself has an internal issue. If it's under warranty, contacting Samsung support could be your best bet. Hope it gets resolved soon! 🛠️🔌"
i had looked at samsung but cannot find any answer. is there a way to set default to go HDMI instead of going TV... when i turn off my PC or TV the soundbar goes to TV as a source. is very annoying and frustrating.
Usually, there isn’t a way to set HDMI as the default on most Samsung soundbars. It tends to auto-select the TV source when turned on. A workaround might be using a universal remote or checking if any firmware updates are available that might change this setting.
Hey brother, i lost my remote of q990b and have reset the soundbar. Can you please guide me how can i connect rear speakers and sub to soundbar without a remote. I would appreciate that
Hey there! It's unfortunate to hear that you've lost your remote for your Samsung Q990B soundbar, but don't worry, I'll help you connect your rear speakers and subwoofer to the soundbar without a remote. Here's a step-by-step guide: Place the rear speakers and subwoofer in their desired positions in your room, and make sure they are connected to power outlets. Power on the soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer. Locate the "ID SET" button on the back of the soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer. You might need a paperclip or a small, pointed object to press this button. First, press the "ID SET" button on the soundbar. The soundbar should enter the pairing mode, and you may see a flashing LED light indicating this. Within 30 seconds, press the "ID SET" button on the rear left speaker. The speaker will try to connect with the soundbar, and once it's successfully paired, the LED light will stop flashing and remain solid. Now, within 30 seconds, press the "ID SET" button on the rear right speaker. Follow the same process as with the rear left speaker, and wait for the LED light to stop flashing and remain solid. Finally, within 30 seconds, press the "ID SET" button on the subwoofer. The subwoofer will also try to connect with the soundbar, and once it's successfully paired, the LED light will stop flashing and remain solid. Check if the soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer are now connected and working together properly by playing some audio content. Please note that this process might vary slightly depending on the specific model of your soundbar, rear speakers, and subwoofer. If you still face issues, I'd recommend contacting Samsung support or referring to your product's user manual for further assistance. Good luck!
Hey there! That's a bit spooky with the volume going up on its own! 👻 First, make sure there's nothing pressing against the remote control. If that's not the issue, try resetting the soundbar by holding the 'Volume Down' button on the soundbar itself for about 5 seconds until you see 'INIT' on the display. This should bring it back to factory settings. If it’s still acting up, it might be time to contact Samsung support. Hope this helps and you can enjoy your soundbar without any surprise volume boosts! 🎵🔊
Hi l bought a new AC Samsung C4 series sound bar today and the sound just went off after an hour n l tried these methods but never worked..lm wondering what could be the problem please help thank you
maybe check if the soundbar's firmware needs an update? or could be a connection issue. if nothing works, might wanna call samsung support. hope it gets fixed soon!
Glad to hear that worked for ya! The play and pause button trick can be pretty handy with these Samsung soundbars. Thanks for sharing your experience with the k450 model. Might help others too! 👍🙂
I have the Samsung sound bar HW-T510 and the volume goes up on it own to Max. The only way to bring down the volume is by pressing both up and down volume, but when I let go the button the volume goes back to max on its own. Also the control doesn’t do anything and it has new batteries. Anyone know what’s wrong and how to fix it? Thank you in advance.
Wow, that sounds like a pretty wild issue with your soundbar! If pressing both volume buttons only offers a temporary fix, it might be a software or hardware glitch. Have you tried doing a factory reset as shown in the video? If that doesn't work, contacting Samsung's customer support might be your next best step.
@@hifiaudios8101 Thanks for the reply. I did all your method and it still does the same thing I also think it’s a software hardware glitch. I will be calling samsung. Hopefully they get it fixed.
Hmm, that sounds tricky. If the typical reset method isn't working, it could be a more specific issue. Have you tried disconnecting it from power for a few minutes then trying again? If all else fails, reaching out to Sony Support might be your best bet. Good luck! 🔌🎵
So I couldn't reset with a remote, but I was able to with the soundbar itself, however, when INT showed and I released, it said goodbye and never rebooted. I waited for 20 minutes to see if anything happened and nothing did, but I was able to turn it back on normally by hitting the power button or using the remote. Sadly the issue persists where my Samsung TV switches back to the TV speakers. I have a Samsung Q7CB Soundbar and have always used an HDMI cable, different cables and HDMI ports did not make a difference.
Hey, sorry to hear you're having issues. If the soundbar didn't reboot after saying "goodbye," it's a bit odd but good that you could turn it back on. For the TV switching back to its speakers, try checking the audio settings on your Samsung TV. Make sure the sound output is set to HDMI/ARC if you're using an HDMI cable. Also, see if there's a firmware update for both the TV and soundbar. Hope this helps! 👍

Hey there! Sorry to hear about the issue. Try unplugging the soundbar from the power source, wait for about 10 minutes, and then plug it back in. This can sometimes reset the device. If it's still unresponsive, it might be a hardware issue. As your soundbar is new, I'd recommend reaching out to Samsung's customer support or the place you bought it from, they should be able to help. Hope it gets sorted out soon! 🔊🔄
@@hifiaudios8101 we have tried unplugging it but that didn’t work, Samsung said we can ship it to them and they would fix it but we would have to pay. We didn’t unbox it until we got a new smart tv so no longer under warranty. Thank you for your time trying to help us.
Hmm, that's a bit strange. It could be a settings issue or a potential malfunction. Make sure the subwoofer volume isn't set to zero in the soundbar settings. Also, try resetting both devices and re-pairing them. If this doesn't work, it could be a hardware issue and you might want to reach out to Samsung support.

Hi bro my Samsung soundbar Q990C is not working just 1 orange Light is on. I m going to samsung service centers butt he is noy resolving this problem i m just 2 months ago buy the Samsung Q990C soundbar. Pls help me Thanks
Hey there! Oh no, that sounds super frustrating, especially since it's pretty new. If the service center isn't helping much, maybe try reaching out to Samsung directly through their customer support? Sometimes explaining the situation over the phone or through email can get things moving. Also, double-check your warranty; it should definitely cover issues this early on.

I purchased samsung t42e home theater just 3days ago... It is not connecting to tv through Bluetooth and optical cable as well.... While connecting through Bluetooth it showing connected successfully but sound not coming
Oh no, that's frustrating! 😩 Maybe try resetting the soundbar like in the vid? If still no luck, might be worth checking with Samsung support or where you bought it.
Am facing the same problem..i purchased samsung sound bar b650 but it connects through bluetooth to samsung tv but the sound stops after 3 to 5 minutes.....
Maybe try a reset again and see if it clears up that volume issue. If it still doesn't work, it could be a setting that got changed by accident. Double-check those and maybe peek at the manual too.
Sure, you can repair your remote by following these steps: 1. Switch off your soundbar and then turn it back on. 2. Press the "Sound" button on the remote for about 5 seconds. The soundbar should display a "Pairing" message. 3. If it doesn't work, try changing the batteries of your remote and repeat the process. Remember, the process can vary depending on the model, so check your user manual if needed.

my q600b plays demo music when i try to do hard reset (holding volume up and down on soundbour itself for around 5s)
It sounds like it might be going into demo mode instead of resetting. Maybe try holding the buttons for a bit longer, like 10 seconds, or check the manual to see if there’s another combo for the reset.
Thanks so much it worked
You're welcome!
Thank you

Hello, do you know how to turn off the Auto power link feature? My soundbar Turns on automatically when I turn on my tv.
Yes, I can help you with that! To turn off the Auto power link feature on your soundbar, go to the settings menu and look for the power options. From there, you should be able to disable the automatic power-on feature.
Will it work on other brands?
not sure, but maybe try and see? each brand might be a bit different tho
Can this help my soundbar being out of sync? I’ve tried messing with the sync settings and it still doesn’t fix my issue. My TV seems to be ahead of my sound bar.
Resetting might help, but also check if there's a firmware update for your soundbar and TV. Sometimes that fixes the sync issues.
The third method works for me and the sound bar turned off, but I don’t know how long it’s supposed to be off before it turns back on again automatically?
none of these work for me ???my remote will not work with sound bar ???
Does it work with different controller?
Absolutely, this reset procedure should work regardless of the controller you're using, as long as it's compatible with your Samsung soundbar. Just make sure to follow the steps carefully.
@@hifiaudios8101 I am using a sharp tv with a Samsung sound bar and I only have a sharp controller will it work?
I can’t seem to connect manually
I hope this works because my soundbar started switching to Bluetooth on its own out of nowhere and it’s quite annoying, can’t figure out how to fix it
Ugh, that sounds super annoying! 😤 Fingers crossed this reset does the trick for you. Let us know how it goes!
@@hifiaudios8101 I actually figured out that it was my neighbor in my duplex. Her laptop was connecting to my soundbar 😬
Any troubleshooting steps when the soundbar won’t turn on at all. Replaced the power supply thinking that was the issue but still no power.
Here's a step-by-step guide:
Place the rear speakers and subwoofer in their desired positions in your room, and make sure they are connected to power outlets.
Good luck!
I have a samsung soundbar q900a that get the volume up by itself can you guime pls.
Hi l bought a new AC Samsung C4 series sound bar today and the sound just went off after an hour n l tried these methods but never worked..lm wondering what could be the problem please help thank you
maybe check if the soundbar's firmware needs an update? or could be a connection issue. if nothing works, might wanna call samsung support. hope it gets fixed soon!
the play and pause button for 3-5 seconds work for me.
mine is samsung sound bar k450
Followed instructions using remote and also without. Volmax is still showing so I guess it's not reset. Any ideas please?
SAMSUNG
To activate Q-Symphony (best audio that combines soundbar + TV sound) and for the soundbar to open at the same time as the TV
1. On TV
a. Advanced Settings → Sound → HDMI-eARC → Auto
b. Advanced Settings → General → External Device Manager → Enable Anynet+
2. On the soundbar
a. Source D-IN
3. On TV
a. Sources → TV (Samsung TV Plus)
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks buddy
Any time
You rule !!!!
Hey, thanks a bunch! 😄 Really glad u found the vid helpful. Stay tuned for more cool stuff, alright?
I tried last two methods and it is showing D.IN after init. what should I do
It is not visinle in Bluetooth devices when I am trying to connect with my TV and phones.please help
Our sound bar is new and worked one day then not the next. It is stuck on “on” and won’t respond to remote or side buttons. Any ideas?
My subwoofer connects to my soundbar but there is no sound from the subwoofer, what could be causing that issue. Model number HW-H551
@@hifiaudios8101 I opened it up to take a look, i identified the suspected fault, a blown ic chip, seems like it can be replaced easy enough, problem is i can identify the model of the blown chip
Yes i m going 3 difrent Samsung custmer care centers in PAKISTAN. Butt he said this is imported item. And not Repearable. I buy from Dubai and come to PAKISTAN
I have bad experiance in Samsung Soundbar. This is very expensive butt Quality is verry bad.
My samsumg q700b is at max volume 10 and wont go over that i dont know why it worked fine previousley
Maybe try a reset again and see if it clears up that volume issue. If it still doesn't work, it could be a setting that got changed by accident. Double-check those and maybe peek at the manual too.
I was able to reset the soundbar from the bar but now my remote control isn’t recognized. Do you know how to re-pair it?
Sure, you can repair your remote by following these steps:
Thanks!
Welcome!
