Now in idiocratic times, he wouldn't be able to record his stuff as he would like, cause SJW locusts would constantly attack him and label with everything, causing problems and trying to punish him for being "offensive" ...

      @@sofuckingannoying this was the prime time death of the late 90's pop radio, where you could hear Marilyn Manson played right after Hooters and the Fishwich and Biggie. I remember telling friends could songs were sped up to cram in airplay because they were off key, up an entire step or more. Makes me think of Queens of the Stone Age "'Songs for the Deaf':
      "KLON Radio- we play the songs that sound more like everyone else, than anyone else." 🤣🤣👍

    Lot of people here think Lajoie was ahead of his time. As awesome as he is, that's not the case with this song: radio friendly bullshit has been a problem since at least the fuckin' '80s, it's just that most people don't realize it because that stuff either doesn't last very long in the public memory or it becomes a nostalgic hit. Every time I hear this song it just reminds me of that "You're Beautiful" song which was all over the radio around the time Lajoie did this. Trust me, folks: the past isn't that much different from the present.

    I remember back when I took music classes one of the girls in class performed this song. That day we got an unexpected visit from the mayor. I don't think he expected the cutie, fairy-like girl to sing those words...
    Anyway I've had this song in my list since then (8 years ago). It's iconic.

    I feel like Jon is super under-rated. like i mean he puts these hilarious songs and skits, and i feel like know one understands the meaning or satire behind them. songs like "pop song" "radio friendly song" and "show me your genitals" and many more videos jon has done almost perfectly captivize society, the music/entertainment society, its like his understanding of everything is just astounding; and yet at the same time he is able to make his videos funny and entertaining. GO JON!!!

    A German satirist, Jan Böhmermann, did a similar thing in 2017 where he let chimpanzees randomly pick the lyrics from "super deep" tweets and stuff, wrote a super generic melody and made a music video with equally generic stock videos. And it is so funny how similar these two songs are in their thematic, even tho there are 8 years between them and they still hold true today!

      +James McKinney Macs are overpriced in any situation and are worse than PC in all but one case, which is how they come with the basic software you need, they're for lazy people.

    • @AssassinofAlatreon
      @AssassinofAlatreon 9 років тому +2

      ***** That's a complete lie, there are much superior software that only support Windows that are bettter than what mac have to offer and Windows machines have access to unlimited combinations of hardware which makes them much better for video editing ,etc. Mac's are just simpler to use. Do some research

    • @AssassinofAlatreon
      @AssassinofAlatreon 9 років тому +5

      ***** You do know that building a Windows machine is like mounting legos.
      And another thing that makes them better is that the hardware available is much, MUCH better for hardware intensive tasks like video editting.
      The rest that you say macs are better, are about the same for both machines as they aren't hardware intesive like text editting, pre-rendered videos,.... Which would be fine if the macs weren't the most overpriced computer ever created.
