    Hi guys, I liked this thing a lot, I will try to work my magic with Remington and see if we can get some discount sorted for anyone who wants to purchase the RX5. After this first look review I definitely prefer it over the other well known similar product. This thing is also significantly cheaper. If you are too excited and just want to grab one I have included a link for the guys in the UK. It seems that unfortunately this product is difficult to find in the US maybe someone can help out with a link in the comments section if they know where to get it. Bald Head Butter has flown off the shelves (Thank You) But there will be a full restock very very soon. Make sure you follow @Baldcafe on Instagram to get all the realtime updates. Thank you all for watching and I wish you all well! 😃

    I purchased this about 2 weeks ago from Argos, seems to be selling really well as it’s sold out in most places now, gives a great head shave. I use this as a back up to my wet shave, still prefer the blade for that close shave, the RX5 however I can recommend highly it’s great for when I don’t have time for a wet shave..and Baldcafe’s bald head butter is the perfect compliment to finish the shave. Great video Harry! Thought this would be up soon. Keep these great review videos coming.

    these electric head shavers surprisingly seem to work better without shaving cream. Just rub some water on your head and you're good to go. The key is immediately moisturizing after the shave. The head butter is great but I also like the badger hair oil as a post-shave conditioner.

    Damn, looking good! I never like how these electric razors irritate my skin, and that they don't really get that close (compared to a wet shave). Love your videos. Have you done a comparison between the Remington RX5, the Bad Head LK 1800, the Pitbull Gold, and the Freedom Grooming FlexSeries?

    I have been using this Remington for a couple of months now and im quite pleased with it. Im thinking of buying a Braun series 9 for a closer shave, has anyone tried both and can give some input?

    I bought the Remington RX5 and thought it was ok, just bought the Babyliss Titanium Pro, had 3 days of growth, took longer but a much smoother finish, have you tried this?

    After using this product can you feel stubble or does your head feel smooth like when using a razor? Thanks love watching your content and also purchased one of your head butter which is brilliant 😁

      Mikey Loveridge I would describe it as something in between. 0.1mm. Probably something like 8hrs after a wet razor shave if that makes sense. The razor will cut the hair slightly below the skins surface where as this will take it down to the skin. It’s very very adequate with this thing I’d say 👍 And thank you so much for supporting the Bald Head Butter I love it and I’m glad you do too thank you 🙏

    This one seems to be the best shaver on the market!
    May I ask you something different? Have you ever experienced kind of pimple-like hard little boils on your scalp after shaving?
    Not a proper pimple... something hard and painful...
    And definitely not an ingrown hair...
    Thank you, your channel is the way

      It’s a cyst. I had to go to the dermatologist to get it drained as mine was about 2 centimeters. Run your head under cold water after a shave to open your pores and remove any excess hair that may clog them.

    I use both the Remington products that you used then, the Rx5 is a really good shaver and it’s a lot cheaper then them pit bull ones that are well over charged! Think this cost me £60 in Argos 👌🏼👍🏼💪🏼

      Baldcafe most definitely do like it! I’ve been using mine now for about 3 weeks and it’s really good! I usually use it in the shower with some shaving cream and it works wonders. I’m new to this being bald and it took me about two weeks to actually like it and feel comfortable with it but now I do actually enjoy it, especially seeing a fellow shaver and both giving each other the nod 👍🏼👨🏻‍🦲

    Hi after years of indecision and going from a number 1 to a 0 finally took the plunge and bought one of these Remington RX5, used it today and can't believe how close it cuts and how much difference there is between a 0, only problem is that my head feels sore in places what should I apply to take the soreness away and is it better to use it wet with shaving gel ? The Bald Head butter is out of stock so any other suggestions

    I’m really thinking about shaving my head iv got a receding hairline but I use my long fringe to hide it but it’s always annoying me I don’t no if I’d regret shaving it off I was literally gonna do it an hour ago and bottled it should I just do it ?

    • @Baldcafe

      Matty McLoughlin You absolutely should just go for it my man. If the long fringe set up is annoying you then you’ll be glad to see the back of it with a nice clean head shave 👍

      Matty McLoughlin I was in the same boat as you about 3 weeks ago, I went for it and now love it, I didn’t like it at first and that’s only because it was a big change, once you get used to it you’ll love it, I get compliments all the time saying that it suit me me and to be honest I’m literally so happy I did it, no more worries, not constantly worried about the wind and no more bed head, I went swimming the other day for the first time in years too! My hair wasn’t even that bad just slightly balding so I could grow it back in a wanted to but I don’t want to now.

    it comes with a uk 2 pin plug not an eu one you have to order a uk 2 pin to 3 pin off amazon.the argument being that many bathrooms have 2 pin sockets for shavers,thing is the shaver wont work plugged in and charging the unit in the bathroom can be dangerous.why it doesnt come with a uk 3 pin i will never really know.i dont charge anything in my bathroom for safety reasons

    • @Baldcafe
      @Baldcafe  4 роки тому +1

      Eduardo Rodriguez I agree. The only thing that makes me nervous about it is that it isn’t designed for full head shaves... will this mean it lasts half the time? Will it be irritating? I suppose that’s what a review is for 😂 👍

    • @scorporsupremacy7948
      @scorporsupremacy7948 4 роки тому

      I used the wahl finale after my buzz cut and it does a great job for me. I just have to use it regularly but I just decided to go bald completely a month ago. I’m looking at other electric shavers to see it one might be more convenient for me to use. I’m prone for ingrown hairs and electric close shavers have minimized this for me . So I’m really searching to see if there IS a shaver out there that would help me not to get any ingrown hairs at all. It’s one thing to get ingrown hairs on your face that you can treat but,having them on your head sucks unless you got someone who is willing to fish them out for you.
