  • In order to be successful at BJJ we need to understand that we need to be in proper alignment (Posture, Structure, and Base) to generate force into our opponent. If we are not in proper alignment we need to correct this before we look to advance our attack in anyway. Once in proper alignment we can then look at how we can negatively affect our opponent's alignment to create vulnerability.
    This video covers how to collapse your opponent's frame by creating a lever out of the hand. It is important to understand where the frame is strong, and why we need to change the angle in which we are applying force rather than driving straight into our opponent's extended arms.
