Greg Bryk did a fantastic job bringing the character to life. I did not expect the amount of emotion we get when all three of his siblings are dead.
Ian Moone it’s like how Micheal Mando brought Vaas to life
Not on the same scale however. Bryk read the characterization and history of Joseph Seed and fit into the role like it was made for him, but Mando MADE Vaas. He was just a side character before Mando auditioned for the role.

Noah Park I thought the ending was brilliant, the cult was so sure of the collapse and the entire time the leaders told you “what if we were right” then it turns out they were.

Man, this game is insane! This is coming from someone who is not a gamer, but someone who has only played PES and NBA 2K for years, and the last FPS I played was Soldier of Fortune 20 years ago. I recently bought an Xbox Series S and tried to play Deathloop and Battlefield but I suck, and a few days ago I started playing Far Cry. I literally dream about the Seed family at night.😂I hope Far Cry 6 is as good as this.

To be honest I actually felt really bad for him in the final cutscene after I killed all three. The crying, the snot... he just looked so vulnerable and pathetic to the point where it was just sad.
Also (sorta spoiler for The Walking Dead) but the snot part reminded me of the first episode of season 7 when Rick finally broke down in front of Negan and showed that he wasn't as strong as he thought he was, with tears & snot running down his face. I wonder if that inspired them lol.

The article mentioned that seed was indeed being talked to by "God' which in reality was the gov/nwo using 'voice to skull' technology. (which is a real thing by the way). Covert government aid would explain how they managed to acquire nukes, train and arm a whole paramilitary force while taking over swaths of US soil 'ISIS style' without being bothered much by law enforcement. Not to mention the whole using psychedelics for mind control aspect (which is also real and the US gov tried it). ON TOP OF THAT someone managed to pinpoint the source of the nuclear blasts to Joseph Seeds bunkers (probably using mods or glitches).
I didn't want to kill any bosses in the game, I really felt awful for Joeseph.

This story is great, but he is PURE EVIL...
Honestly, FC5 is probably the most impactful of all the far crys (IMO). Many might disagree, but I legit really enjoyed the story and the ending. You almost start to feel bad for Joseph by the end. And in the end, they were right in its own sick, twisted way.
I just hope it actually is the real ending, because post apocalyptic games are always boring imo, because you know that "This is not real stuff" also you don't fell its a beautiful world because all is ruined. New Dawn had ok worlds, but all was just deserted and depressing. I hope and wish that Far Cry 6 will be in our days were no nuke has happened, because its too cliché and a cheap way to add monsters. I know Far Cry 1/Classic have monsters, but they are failed experiments by a sick crazy scientist, which could be kinda real because scientists are crazy.

This is why Farcry 5 is so incredible to me, the realism.
This is the most realistic crying I've heard in a game for a long time, it shows real distress which is honestly even more amazing considering most games like Farcry 5 wouldn't want to show their main villian in a weak compromise, but that's the thing about Joseph's character, he never expected this to actually happen to his family.
The genuine sounding crying and distraught wails send chills down my spine and make me feel a bit sorry for Joseph, that's how realistic it is, it was realistic enough for me to feel sorry for what I've done to the main villian.

I killed them in the order (from left to right) of Faith, Jacob and John and didn't notice anything different to your video.
I played John, Faith, Jacob and it seems the last one always gives you the same cutscene. I got a cutscene for Faith's death but not for Jacob, which is a shame as I'd like to have seen all of them in my own playthrough.

Joseph Seed is known to be a cruel cult leader, yet in these cutscenes he shows that he can be human as wel with real emotions. He is a well created character
He kills and takes people from families, he killed his infant daughter, he's not human, he's the living embodiment of sin and a monster

Unlike previous villains like Vass and Pagan who is a lot more in the likes of typical cartoon villains who shows little to no kind of human emotions or qualities.
I think the first two about Jacob and John are him speaking to the cult at their funerals and then the last one might have been a recorded message that he sent to the deputy.

This was the first Fry cry game I’ve played and I got to say it’s one of my favorite Ubisoft games. These monologues are done so well that I felt so bad for Joseph that I multiple times I walked away and let him go in peace until I want new game+ and I felt horrible when resisting.

The very emotional one where all his siblings are dead really is kind of sad until he gets into a rage and the boogies come out of his nose then he sucks them back up his nose you just can't not think oh Christ that is gross.

This is great, I've never been able to find a video including Jacob's and I've been wanting to see it because after four completed runs of the game I realize if you kill Jacob last you don't get to hear Joseph's dialogue about him. Thanks!

This video shows exactly why Farcry 5 is such an incredible game. This is video footage of The Father reacting to the deaths of his family members is one of the few examples that I felt the wrath, sorrow and pain of the villain.
So he knows the grief of losing what he loved the most. I call that poetic justice.

The first brother I killed was John on my first play through and I wanted
to spare his life but I couldn't so my reaction ended up to be "Wow I'm freaking evil!"
But I seriously felt sorry at the exact same time.I kinda wanted to join Edens Gate.
After I killed Jacob I was just straight up sad.The snot added a lot to it and I just felt guilty.

I actually like the ending of the game, I done my best to avoid spoilers, and was genuinely surprised by how the game ended. Looking back, it was now pretty obvious what was going to happen.
I hated it.
The game is so much more interesting because it makes you think that YOU might be in the wrong because of what Joseph tells us, he is such a good villain.
I dunno why. But for some reason before the music takes the darker tone. The sad emotional part when Johns talking about them. It reminds me of the music from Rob Bell’s Nooma- Mathew specifically. Which also happens to be about loss of people close to you. Possible little reference? Maybe coincidence possibly. Just my 2 cents

Joseph’s dialogue and demeanor completely change for each sibling depending on what order you killed them in. When I killed Jacob last the first 2 play throughs, the dialogue I got for him was the last dialogue in this video. So it seems the last dialogue is always the same and whatever sibling is killed last you don’t get their specific dialogue about them. So to get all of them, play through twice and change who you kill last.
Thank god i didn't arrest him, GOT THE SECRET ENDING BABY!

Turns out the whole entire time he did those grieving scenes took place after he took the Rook to the bunker, causing the Rook to be a whole new character in New Dawn.

The first game I have ever played where I was just waiting to get the chance to join Joseph, I really thought that was going to be an option, because when you talk to the "antagonists you feel for them ( well maybe not the "I kiLlED mY DaUgHteR" part with Joseph. I think they put this part in deliberately so you would not grow to fond of Joseph). For example when Joseph said: "By a snake in the garden" and he was talking about losing his siblings, i felt for him. I picked the "leave" option because I wanted him to succeed...am I insane or something? Hahaha.

@@clipsyoudontwatch no he hasn't. If you refer to the nukes, it was revealed in Far Cry 6's Pagan Min DLC that he (Pagan) had a whole ton of nukes stashed under his palace that were aimed at Montana in Kyrat that he left for Ajay.

Notice that he didn't say anything about Jacob. He didn't say that Jacob was a good brother, nor how close he was to Joseph. All he he said at the end was that he questioned if he knew God's plan.
Really? Because all I heard from Joseph about Jacob, was that Jacob was transformed into a killing machine, due to the war beyond him fighting almost everyone around him.

As much as he wishes he could talk to God, he can't. If you remember that note from New Dawn about his child, Joseph thought that God told him to kill his own child so he wouldn't suffer. But he just snapped was all, thinking it was God talking to him.
