The best ending is going through all the Golden Path bullshit and then not killing Pagan and instead killing Sabal and Amita at the end (worked when I picked amita) and basically rule Kyrat. You’re getting the country either way so
@@cheesecakefactoryenthusias9904 SO TRUE, pagan let us do all this, he was genuinely in love with our mother and welcomed us to put her ashes. We let him live by humanity despite everything.
To me, Sabal never had much thought about Kyrat's economy while he's dead set on preserving the ancient traditions. Plus, by the end he plans to dwindle the population in a "cleansing" to those who didn't follow his side of the Golden Path or stood to the sidelines for logical reasons.
I sided with Amita to save the drug fields for Kyrat's economy and later sided with Sabal to save the Jalendu temple. I killed Amita as a result before the assault at Pagan's palace and then killed Sabal after the secret scene at the temple.
If you picked Amita, at the end of the game it’s implied that she killed Bhadra, there’s a scene where amita is taking in children for them to become soldiers, and Ajay says “what does bhadra have to say about this”, to which amita says “bhadra is gone, and she isn’t coming back”. At least with Sabal Bhadra is alive lol

None of the 3 deserved to rule, all were evil in their own way. Hopefully Ajay could lead Kyrat, but as Achal said "Kyrat has no future" which is usually the story of countries under tyrannical regimes fighting to live with human rights and for a country where wildlife and humanity can flourish.

If our only options are between Sabal and Amita then I would pick Sabal for a couple of reasons, 1. He doesn't pretend to be someone he isn't and lie to you throughout the game. Granted he manipulates you, but so does Amita. 2. Amita puts on a mask from the start, she pretends to be this caring woman who wants to free Kyrat the first time we see her is with Bhadra training her to shoot a bow. She claims to care about Bhadra and wants to keep her away from Sabal's radical beliefs. When you burn down the opium fields she rants to you about how there's was school and medical supplies in the warehouse, not just drugs (this was not a part of her proposal when chosing a side for this mission, probably should've led with that.) And the second Sabal is dead and King Min is dead/gone she kills Bhadra and becomes a dictator herself.
I think it was uncomfortable hearing a few people talking about bhadra bearing their children when she’s only 14 and Amita saved my life when I came down the mountain so I sided with her
