Thanks Wayne, yes, already watched that one, looks like I have narrowed down to the Loar LM-310F because of its Satin finish or the Loar Lm-600 or 520. Probably going to land on the 310F. Nobody in our city has anything in stock so it looks like I may have to go the eBay route? I'd really like to get it with hardshell case too. Any reccomendations/thoughts advisement are really appreciated.

Hope you find something great. If you cant buy in person just be sure you agree with the seller on a 48 hour approval. It really comes down to the individual mandolin and how it feels in your hands. Sometimes it can be a great instrument but you just don't connect with it for some reason. Best of luck in your search...

Wayne, been watching your videos and I am really interested in picking up the Mandolin. Your theory is very user friendly especially for an "old"man like me. I am going to start looking at some Mandolins starting with a Loar LM-310. Then maybe Epiphone or Gretch. Any advisement will be really helpful. I've been around guitars, and audio, and bands so I know the sound I'm looking for. Thanks and keep up the GREAT video sessions! Larry/Omaha
