Eating in SYDNEY CBD for 24Hours | BEST Thai Food and Japanese Izakaya Bar

We decided to take time off, did overnight staycation in Pullman Hotel at Hyde Park and explore Sydney City CBD. For lunch, we had delicious and cheap Thai food in Thaitown / Sydney Chinatown area called Yok Yor. Thai boat noodle, fried chicken wrapped in pandan leaf and Mama tom yum Thai hotpot are delicious. Some people told us to try their Durian sticky rice - next time for sure! Yok Yor is one of the Thai restaurant in Sydney CBD that does authentic Thai food and cheap affordable price.
We were strolling around Darling Harbour Sydney for dinner and noticed Honey Pocha, a new Korean pocha (Korean street food bar) in Darling Square. Limited menu options but they serve some comfort food like tteok-kochi (fried Korean rice cake on skewers), creamy onion fried chicken and unique Korean pizza like Bulgogi pizza. For drinks, they do honeycomb makgeolli (rice wine) which is quite sweet. Honey is a good addition of Korean restaurant in Darling Square Sydney that open till late so good option for weekend or night out with friends.
For late night drinks and to showcase Sydney's nightlife, we went to our old time favourite Japanese izakaya bar in Surry Hills called Tokyo Bird. Located in random alleyway in Surry Hills, this is one of the hidden small izakaya bar that we love. We've been here countless times with friends to enjoy their cocktails, Japanese whisky and some yakitori (grilled food on skewers). We love the vibe at Tokyo Bird, reminisce of Japan!

Hakodate is my favorite city in Hokkaido so far. Love the atmosphere of the city, the night view and Lucky Pierrot burger~~~Also the morning market, where u can fish the squid and eat it raw~~~

@@nickandhelmi If you're getting the train up to Hokkaido, I recommend doing a stop at Hakodate. It's like a European-esque portside city. Good seafood market and a ropeway. For Sapporo, I highly recommend Nemuro Hanamaru (at Sapporo station). Best sushi train. And definitely find a place for soup curry.
Pullmans was the old Police Head quarters where my grandfather worked in Internal Affairs. He wore only suits & had a driver due to his very senior position
Congratulations on your new home purchase. I pray the move goes well. My friend highly recommends Grace removals but I have also heard Cronulla removals are good. The last removalists I had were drug addicts and destroyed several pieces of furniture not that I knew they were drug addicts at the time.
I can't tell you how many times I have walked past those restaurants but understood nothing. Thank you for the video explaining - I have never heard of boat noodles
