Thank you Daisho for sponsoring this video. Daisho is a Japanese company that imported Japanese style Nabe Hotpot soup base. Nabemono, where nabe (鍋) refers to a cooking pot and mono (物) means things or stuff. Some of the popular Nabemono dishes include Sukiyaki, Shabu Shabu, and Oden. You can find Daisho's hotpot soup base in your local Asian grocery shop to enjoy Japanese hot pot at home. Website: www.daisho.co.jp/english/

This Episode Features
Roti Rebel by Kafe Kooks
63 Mountain St, Ultimo NSW 2007
Interior cafe is inspired by the Late David Bowie, including the name "Rebel" and "Kooks" are inspired from late David Bowie's songs. Kafe Kooks is serving fusion Malaysian Indian roti with unique menu like martabak, roti bawang, roti canai, Malaysian food classic roti sarang burung but served in Sydney cafe style that open from morning for breakfast and brunch then dinner time focuses on curry.
Show Nom (by Show Neua)
Shop 2B/710 George St, Haymarket NSW 2000
This hole in a wall Thai street food dessert style is open until 12AM everyday in the main George St Sydney near Chinatown. We tried the Thai pandan custard toast bread that tastes like Singaporean breakfast food: Kaya Toast
Huamoom Market
770 George St, Sydney NSW 2000
Unassuming place that sells Thai spicy fruit salad. You can choose what fruits do you like, I opted for mixed fruits, then choose the spicy level. Thai spicy fruit salad is like Rujak in Indonesia, spicy, salty, sweet taste.

Don’t be afraid of chili for breakfast. It wakes you up fast. Better than coffee.

Hi Nick & Helmi is that place easy to find parking ? 😊 Thanks
We parked nearby but you can also park at Broadway shopping centre and walk for few mins ☺️
@@nickandhelmi oh ok that's great.
Where do you buy the Doisho soup bases please.
Miracle Supermarket got them :) Normally bigger Asian supermarket with lots of Japanese sauces option😄
Mantap
Makasihh
I think Roti goes best with curry chicken and Indian chatni sauce.
Seriously i can eat roti & curry chicken everyday haha☺️
It's near Broadway right ?
Yup it is :)
You should just eat your Roti with your hands instead of using knife and fork 🍽
I’m assuming they’re wanting to keep it clean and not messy for the video.
hahah yeah😆 also this is cafe style, will be odd if we are the only one using hands lol
It’s a waste of alot of bread crumbs !😳😮
Wait which one?😳
$13.50 for that very small piece of sarung burung! Take my money why don't you.
Just too upmarket for my wallet. 😢
That's because you have grown accustomed to the prices at the mamak stores in Malaysia. A roti with 3 curry sauces and a teh tarik for USD 50 cents. 😂
The fruit cup is suppose to be sour. Most Asians will pick un-rippen fruits to balance the spicy, salty flavor. Nick not wanting to try or have no taste for it means he's white-washed. Any asian thinking about any type of these snacks will immediately start to drool. Papaya salad anyone? :D
