I couldn't help but LOL at the bird 💩 recurrence! They're tough critics! I would love to see the $20 challenge in Lakemba they've got a lot of diverse cuisines.
Didn't think we'd see you guys eating Banh Mi again so soon after that epic episode hahahhaa. This looks good though even got some special sauce. Pandan cococnut sago waffle sounds mega yum. We saw a lot of Viet Hoa shops in Vietnam too. $2 for a sugar cane juice is an absolute steal! Like the look of the stalls in general from Cabramatta, looks like you're in Asia.
This is a wonderful video. You both always do a great job in all of you're videos. Thank you Nick and Helmi for bringing us subscribers these great videos.
That is super good luck!!! What a beautiful Chinese door right behind you Nick! Helmi says "I don't know" cause she knows she's going to have some sort of boba tea or dessert at the end as an extra hahaha
Hey guys! Just had a chance to catch up again with your videos ☺️ Yay another $20 food challenge video. Looks like Cabramatta has a lot of cheap eats. You must take us one day there if we’re visiting Sydney 😋
Yes, please do a Part 2 of Cabramatta! This place is my hometown, but I have moved out of Cabramatta for more than 10 years now. My family still lives in Cabramatta, however I’m not familiar with some of the new food stores and restaurants there. I recommend Lidcombe for a mini Korean town. They have a couple of Dosirak (Korean bento) shops which also sells Korean banchan (side dishes) and Gimbap. Auburn is next to Lidcombe, which is a suburb mostly of northern Chinese, Turkish, Nepalese, Pakistani, Afghani and Lebanese people. Auburn Central had renovated with new shops and takeouts since the closure of Big-W a year ago, and most of the stores in Auburn are slowly re-emerging from the pandemic.
You guys always show the best looking banh mi places. The one from KK bakery looks so delicious and it's so massive that you could definitely share one
Thanks nick/helmi for ending my eternal search for pandan waffles! Thought I was never going to have them after being in Sydney! Keep up the good work! msian/indo/sg foodie here saying hi😍
Another great video you two! Love your channel. A bird crapping on you Nick is meant to be good luck! Since it has happened to you twice now you need to go and buy a lottery ticket. Thank me later!
Omg those waffles, are looking exactly the same with waffles we always make at home. I think they got the same waffle maker as us haha. Love adding pandan essense too in the waffles, so aromatic 👌🏻
I popped into Cabramatta last week for crispy chicken, mum was shocked years ago how much it changed from when we used a migrant camp decades ago.U told my friend I will take her to Bankstown Sports Club this Friday as I love that Club and it has so many choices and interesting inside, there is also a rooftop bar with snacks.thanks
Cabra is about a 40 min drive from my place. My family and I go there just to eat. The places you visited in this video are some of our favourites. Pork roll shop - the crispy pork roll is my favourite. Red Lea chicken - I always get a large box of chicken skin to take home. Sugar cane juice - we always get the 2 for $5 deal...but yes, a lot of ice in it. Chicken bun - at this shop I always get the fried pork buns...I think it's Hum soy go ? Banana fritters - we only tried these recently, and love them. The pork sausages are also good there...but expensive ! The pigeons are a problem there...especially when they perch on the wires in the open area near Red Lea. I am constantly looking up when I go through there. Another thing about Cabra is it always seems so hot there. It's a great place to spend half a day there; but it could use a few more trees and seating areas outside. Please continue ! Thanks for the video !👍 Jim.
Thank you so much Jim 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Finally someone also agree with the pigeons😆 Yeah they love just hanging in the wire and we hv to be careful lol. Cabra tends to be hotter coz of the location in south west so we never go during super hot days, boiling hot there haha😅
Thanks for another great video guys. Hey Nick, We have been to Cabra many times and have not encountered bird poop problem. I think it must be just you mate. You are a bird magnet! Haha ☺
Visit Hurstville. Immediately surrounding outside train station is a food court and other eateries. Try the $2 egg and chive pau from a shop that also sell hot food.Take escalator down to main road, go across road and turn right, pass entrance to Westfield and see a few interesting food outlets. Go inside Westfield, a food court there. Down escalator nearby and further in nearer Coles another eatery. Take escalator to top floor is where main ood court is located. The stall that has the roast chicken and duck has a variety of food to select.
Another great video guys omg I miss banh mi another budget food vlog thanks for sharing your day with us really appreciate your efforts guys pls don't stop
Ufff, would love to try pandan waffle. It's a new flavor for us. We've only tried it a couple of times. Oh man, give us all the Asian bakeries. You can really eat a lot for little money.
Eastwood, next! I reckon that would be too easy. So many new cheap eats at the Chinese side, close to the new apartments. Then there's this Korean hotdog outside Aldi at the Korean side.
I've heard a saying that it's goodluck when a bird poops on you, so Nick, you should go buy Lotto and see if win 😄 Part 2 in Cabra would be great. You should try the food stalls in AA (down from BKK), you can get steamed rice rolls with pork cake for around $6.
I can have chips all day...before I met Lieles that is actually mostly what I ate on working days, chips and beer hahaha My sisters always made fun of me saying I only had coffee, wine, beer, and chips for years hahaha Those look really good, but yes don't give any animal anything with spicy flavor even if they don't poop on you 😂😂😂 Nothing like a great cool beverage on hot, humid days.
Chicken buns and pork buns are always a good idea, even if you have to sacrifice the dessert 😱😱 WHAT? Sorry Helmi, I know you might disagree with us hahaha
This is not an easy video to watch when I am trying to diet and cut out the sugar consumption, but good for you for having the lucky genes of never gaining weight! lol
Yes 🙌 Helmi and Nick I love this $20 eats video in Cabramatta please do a Part 2 ,it would good to a video for example on best pho or crispy chicken and tomato rice etc ,so much great food in Cabramatta..I go to Cabramatta every week I love it ..x❤️🥰

Wow michael, nice accusation, look at the episode we did before this before you point fingers. Big youtuber like Drew binsky has done this - secondly we never even watched his cabra video ok. So before you point fingers and become a troll maybe do your research and get to know people. No originality go check our other content helping small businesses, what you doing to help out troll?
Everytime we do $20 challenge, Nick got bird 💩 Is this a sign to stop or continue the series?😂Let us know which suburb to hit next!!
Lol! The bird is seeking revenge because Nick didn't share the chips! Word spread...lol!

Nick and Helmi, in the first scene where you were reviewing the banh mi, right behind you is “Li’s Wok” , nice cheap Chinese comfort food!
Ah thanks!! Next time 🤗👍🏻

When are you guys gonna collaborate with Sydney Food Boy? KELVIN🤝
He is too busy with Instagram
Haha time is the issues hey😂

Do locals take it home and heat to eat the cold battered bananas etc
My vote would be for Strathfield, lots of tasty food there and not all of it is Korean.
Hehe yup coming real soon 😁
This is not an easy video to watch when I am trying to diet and cut out the sugar consumption, but good for you for having the lucky genes of never gaining weight! lol
