“We usually order one each because we never share” - one of the secrets to a happy relationship 😂
Exactly right!😂
Those noodles look SOOO good!! Springy and bouncy yummm
Awesome video and thank you for sharing 💙💙
The egg tart looks so good! I need to try it next time, I only tried the emperor puffs last time hehe
Omg the XXL fried chicken cutlet!! I miss eating that in Taiwan!
Can't wait to see part two for this! Pity about the weather but at least you had delicious food to make your stomach happy! That order for the Coco bubble tea is my go to order!
I'm so trying that Coco drink !! Thankyou :D keep up the videos !! :)
Thank you camille🥰
The bakery brings so many nostalgic memories! Hehe the pork bun and the egg tart is such a good choice! I agree it's best to have fresh pastries rather than buying it during the afternoon!
Hey Nick and Helmi! Nice that you guys went to Chinatown to check out some different spots. Sucks to see that you had some rainy weather... perfect time to get inside from the rain and try out some different food! :)
The meatball soup with noodles looked so good and we love chili sauce as well. Helmi's noodles with soy chicken and pork looked bomb also. We love that this place was hidden under the escalator, but it would definitely be hard to find for sure LOLOL!! Your green tea with passion fruit seeds sounds so refreshing, and interesting with all the stuff on the bottom of it.
Hahaa we found hidden gem 🤩 and yesss passionfruit bubble tea from coco is really good
Bubble tea yum yum good choice we like passionfruit green tea!
When the side broth is that clear, you know it'll be good! Yum! 😊😍
Haha yess☺

So many places are closed here that we'll need to live vicariously through this video. That chicken cutlet looks massive and delicious.
Hehe 😁🙌🏻
Wow thanks for sharing guys. We gotta try that Indonesian place. And Nick don’t worry the Char Siu Bao paper is completely safe to eat. I do it all the time. Thanks for sharing and well done guys

Love it, remind me of home 😊
Oh wow, green tea with passion fruit! I would love to drink that, is my combo favorite! 😍
So refreshing!🙌🏻
That Medan style dry noodle looks right up our alley. Love all the mix of meats, golden treasure plus homemade noodle! Oh yeah gotta love that savory breakfast 🤤
Missing home so much so having bakmi for breakfast totally bring us back to Indo🤩
Wow better than Hot Star?? I def gotta check out Two Peck! I hear they have one on the west side here in Perth WA. Amazing video guys~ ya'll always make me super hungry 😋
Thanks Saf. Wish we can go to Perth 🥲🥲

Hubby & I have been living in Haymarket for 17 years & still haven't tried alot of the restaurants! Thanks for all the tips 😁
Omg thank you so much Maria & hubby🥺 Haha we'll do part 2 of this chinatown. Definitely you know more than us, 17yrs wow!! It's very convenient with lots of food options😁
Underground hidden gems.. those are the ones you need to find because they are so good! Bakso and noodles, I have to try that!!
So good! Staple Indonesian food 😁

Yes we'll release in 2 weeks, filming this week hehe.. We didn't expect a lot of people love to see part 2 😅 so thank you so much for watching 🙂
I love that bakery, I think I used to go to that bakery or one just like it about 15 years ago every time I would visit Sydney, they had the best selection and so cheap and just awesome food 👌👌👌
I'm definitely visiting that spot next time I get a chance to go to Sydney again
That chicken looks so crispy wow! You guys seem like you enjoyed it a lot!
It's so yummy!
That warung pojok looks amazing. Mix of noodles! Oh yeah keep adding sauce 😉😉
Hahaha yes extra sauce😅
Oh my god, Nick, that fried chicken looks like a dream to us right now!!
Deliciousness!!!
The mall is also very empty, besides the fact that it is a hidden gem though... wow!
Yep so sad the plaza is kinda dead 🥲 so we think its really hidden gem haha
Nice mix of the passion fruit boba - "we never share" 😂 Ooo I love the crunch from the egg tart! Lol Nick must be really hungry, don't eat the paper :P Oxtongue is definitely really interesting! LMAO!!! "I'm eating Nick's tongue" 😂
Ah yes, agree the bubble gaga from Coco is really good. We reviewed it before too in our bubble tea video.

We ate so much already, Ron 🤣 all food were all eaten same day lol
the deep-fried chicken is huge! and it looks sooo gooooood 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I know right🤤
Chinatown is always full of food goodies! Mmmm I miss Taiwanese chicken cutlet! First thing I ate when we went to Taiwan. I want one too! Warung Pojok is truly a hidden gem, awwh that bakso! Nick your description is making my mouth water, and those sauces! Homemade noodles are always better, omg yes those golden treasures! Haha yes pour in that chilli sauce Helmi!
Agree Taiwanese chicken is so damn good☺
Omg 😍 I’m moving to Sydney next year. So damn excited mainly for the HUGE variety food. Literally you get nothing cultural wise and yummy in QLD so I’m so ready for this!!
So exciting!!a I'm biased but yes I think Sydney offers a lot more food options 🤣
There are areas dominated by Chinese, Vietnamese or Greek in Qld that offer yummy specialised food, although not in terms of the variety in Sydney. Not Fortitude Valley. Go South. There are many good fish and chip shops as well.
@@amyfong6457 wow fish and chips sounds so interesting 😂
Just had some great pork buns at a dim sum spot out here a few weeks ago. Craving some again now!
Cant get enough of it!
When I didn’t know what to get for dinner I always go for twopeck back in Taiwan
The best one for me
i AGREEE
Helmi's favorite.. desserts!! Egg tarts and pork buns, definitely better when made fresh.. but I would still eat it hehe..
That super battery monster fried Taiwan chicken cutlet..wow that is killer!! Hot star move overnhaha
Hahaha yess
You have a Coco?! Nice! Whahhhh give us all the steam pork buns! We can eat those anytime of day.
Yesss coco's fruit tea is really good
That noodle is looking good Helmi, fatty parts are the parts what it makes the food more delicious ;)
Absolutely haha😁
Hello Nick and Helmi , I popped over from B&B ,
I love bubble Tea , but more I love Indonesia food my Dad spent quite a few year in Indonesia and cooked many of his favourite foods her ate there .
I love a good custard cake , I live in Vancouver 🇨🇦 we have two fabulous China towns old China Town Vancouver and the Richmond.
I have liked pork buns but the plastic is delicious 🤣
I love spicy 🌶 chewy no thanks .
I did not realize it was the year of the Ox this year :) Greetings from Canada
Thank you for watching! Hope you are well in Canada 😁 wow your dad must be good cook to recreate Indo food! Trust he can say some Bahasa words too :)
OMG tehbotol!!! Whenever we go to indonesia we can't get enough of it. But for whatever reason it always tastes better from the bottle
So true!! Bottle is way better somehow 🤔
Yes please guys, more of these. PS the first time I had pork roll back in 2001, I didn’t even realise there was paper on it until I was onto my second one!
Yes Richard will do part 2! Oh my gosh, so it happened to many people too 😅
Whoa that menu for Two Peck Chicken is plenty! First bite at 2:12.. 😮😮
Món mì nhìn ngon quá Nick &Helmi
Never tried Two Peck before, we need to try it next time to compare it with Hot Star.
Only saw 1 branch in Melbourne city but always walk past it haha.
Give it a try guys🙂
Warung pojok have The best nasi padang in sydney , all food very cheap, we love eating there 🥰🥰🥰

I love Helmi's "pandemic" deb at 0:20 LMFAO she is so cute ahhhhh *squish squish*
Aww awww 🥰🥰
That TwoPeck Restaurant serves up some huge chicken patties. It looked so crispy and delish. Do the ever make them into sandwiches? Awesome you guys hit an Indonesian spot as well.. nothing like having some food that brings you back to childhood flavors.
They only sell the deep fried chicken and some other fried stuff like taro, mushroom, squid etc 👍🏻
The hair on the guy who walked past when Helmi was eating the ox tongue
Lolll 😂😂
Haven't been into the city for ages... The Taiwanese Two Peck Crispy Chicken looks awfully tempting 👍😎 *Drool* *Drool* Hope to try that out soon next time when i gotta Chinatown as well as the Indo Warung Pojok meatballs..💕 Thanks for the tip @nickandhelmi 😍🤞
Thank you so much Eric for watching😊
@@nickandhelmi 😍🤞👍
Wish we had an Indonesian spot here. Those bowls are looking mighty good, especially Helmi's.
Gotta try Indo food when u can guys 👍🏻
Wihh mantab tuh om😎👍
Hehee makasih ☺
It looks sooooo spicy!!!! so read! It would be a show for us to eat those on camera lol
Hahaha🤣🤣
Oh man the ox tongue looks good! One of our favorite cuts and covered in that chili cumin spice powder 🤤 Too bad it is too chewy - lamb is the way to go then 👍
Yep too bad quite chewy so we would say lamb is way to go haha
Aaron always ends up eating the paper by accident! Once he ended up eating whole 3 pork buns before I told him that there was paper on them 😂😂
LOL AARON🤣🤣🤣
Not only you, Nick 🤣 it happen to me many times too
LOL 🤣
Oh man I really miss bakso, it always brings back memories of some random crazy man screaming BAKSO BAKSO BAKSO every hour at my grandma's place in Jakarta.
Same 😭😭 really missed those street food in Indo
Fancy swirls of kicap manis!
Hahaha🤣🤣
Very nice :)
Thank you Todor 🙂
that Warung pojok really have a lot of options, usually in Singapore only serve several menu.
If Noodle then only noodle, maybe with several side this. But Teh botol is always mandatory in Indonesian Restaurant lol
Hahaha apa pun makan, tetap teh botol sosro 😊
yum! New subs here!🙂
Thank you Aya 🥰
Oh yes!!! Indonesian food.
Haha yes put kecap manis on everything, it will taste better :P
Helmi's bakmi looks super good, although Nick's bakso kuah is actually perfect on rainy days! Very comforting 😍
Kecap manis is life hahaa
Oh nooo Nick ate the paper hahahaha "I couldnt tell it was so delicious" lololol
Hahaha😎🤣
Ohh we have a Coco here in NJ!! Buy one each because we never share lol... 😄
Yes never share haha
Yummmm two peck chicken is so yummy! lol true, there is a lot on their menu. hahaha ketsupmanis on all. We have a lot of coco in melbourne too lol we should try it now u guys recommend! niiice you got 2 of my favourites, egg tart and pork buns!! Having them fresh is the absolute best! hahaha forgot the paper hahaha We forget too cos just want to eat it straight away. Skewers are getting massive here looks like for you guys too.
True almost in every suburb got shop that sell the bbq skewers 🤣 gosh chicken peck is damn good!
I looked at you and was hungry.😋
What the heck i thought it's summer why's it raining in Sydney 🤔😂 at least you guys got the perfect rainy day weather food that chicken looks crazy yen would love it 😉 I'll take the meatball noodles 🍝 😍 we had this dish in Vietnam too. Ooooo that drink looks really good 50/50 sugar is def the way to go!
It was rainy and cold summer during xmas and NY 🤣😅 but now been sunny all week 🤗
Cream puffs from the hole in wall place & bbq pork or chicken feet from near what used to be Aaron’s hotel
( non Asian advice but every loves them )
We always get the cream puffs too 😆 the emperor's puff have appeared several times on our video haha
Oooo we have to find an Indonesian restaurant in Istanbul, craving some right now and haven't had it since Bali :(
Yes do it 😁
My fav bubble tea in Chinatown closed called bow bon bi or something
Ohh :/ there're so many closures these days sometimes we can't keep up too 😅
Ketchup that makes everything better? Too salty, too sweet, too anything then, just add this?? That is awesome
Kecap manis 😎 its Indonesian secret ingredient hahaa
The best non-boba tea hahaha
Full sugar doesn't let you sleep at night?? Wow, we got to be careful with that, or just drink wine afterwards to make us sleepy! hahaha
True! Boba then wine 🤣 best combo haha
Wow! I'm surprised Helmi sharing the tea!! 😂 What happened to you?!
Sometimes im too nice right LOL
Ohhh hidden warung!
Yes what a hidden gem 😍
Lol Nick being the cash-only business owner :P
Ahh shame the tounge is chewy. Got it, better ordering the cumin lamb for safe option.
Also I saw 15:02 There is kangaroo on the menu, have you guys tried it before? Curious to see if it's good haha
No 🤣 We tried kangaroo meats before but didn't like it much coz quite gammey
also i love Nick's t-shirt!! 🔥#kyotocity
Hahaa 😎from uniqlo
What month did you go
“I’m eating Nick’s tongue!” 😂😂
Haha 😛😛😛
Who cares about weather when you can bit that yummy chicken cutlet?? 🤤🤤
So good!
Every thing in English my Chinese wife can't understand you. Amazing
is Helmi pretty? YES!!!!!!
Awww thank you 🥰
NICK EATING THE PAPER!! "I couldn't even tell it was that delicious" lmao rookie mistake nick! you too hungry to think properly! LOL
Hahaha exactly🤣🤣🤣
Hurstville is another suburb dominated by Asians, like Chatswood. Just outside the train station there are variety of food on offer in addition to those inside Westfield Shopping Centre.
Yes we're planning to cover Hurstville soon🙌🏻😋
Yummy paper! 😂😂😂
Typical Nick 🤣
We absolutely love Pork buns!! I believe the only reason why we wanted to go to China was to eat pork buns 🤣🤣
so good you eat the plastic hahaha
Hahaa yes nick loves the paper 😆
Actually hotstar u can choice plum flavour as well , is same taste
For me hotstar is the best... 🤗
Ohh normally i got the spicy or seaweed one at hotstar. Gotta try the plum one then 🙂
now I want to try Taiwanese chicky nuggies....
Yess try it hahaha
That’s not Bakso. It simply yellow noodles with beef balls and a piece of meat filled toufu. Vermicelli and small beef balls plus one big balls that make a Bakso. You don’t put in ketchap manis and not too much chilly in the soup
i feel that warung pojok is the only restaurant that's open lol
In tha building, sadly yeah 😅
Better than Taiwan? That's a big call. I'm gonna try it
Hahaa it's very bold statement from nick. I (helmi) still think Angel's fried Chicken in Taiwan is no 1 😂
👍👍
who very tasty food
Too funny that Nick was so excited to eat the pork bun, that he ate a part of the paper wrapper as well LOLOLOL!! You know that food is good when you can't wait to unwrap it! We have seen lots of people loving egg tarts, but we have never eaten them before. Unless it's similar as a Quiche? You can never go wrong with skewers with meat on them. Yummy! We had no idea Nick was the Year of the Ox.. He must have been born in 1985.. same year as Bears!! Does this mean it's a good year for Oxes?? LOLOL Let us know!! Love you guys to the moon! :)
Ohh so nick is same age as bears then🙌🏻 No idea hopefully way better year 😂 love you bears & butters 😘
